Lightly dusted with snow, one of the 19 sculpted soldiers at the Korean War Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., walks through a rice paddy on patrol. The memorial dramatically honors all who served during the Korean War. The memorial also consists of a wall with the inscription of the 22 nations supporting the war effort and a flagpole encircled by the "Pool of Remembrance." The memorial was dedicated on July 27, 1995, the 42nd anniversary of the signing of the Korean War armistice.

Convocation

As some of us reflect on the past lives of fallen warriors this Memorial Day, let us never forget that a soldier never dies in vain when he is defending the United States of America. Whether he fought and died in 1775 as a Continental or died fighting in the jungles of Vietnam in an unpopular war during the '60's or he is battling against the evil forces of Islamic terrorism in the deserts and mountains of the Middle East today, the men and now women of our most highly esteemed legions who themselves have paid the ultimate price with their lives for the sake of Liberty and Country must receive our eternal gratitude.

They are the titans of history from which the words of their deeds are written by their sweat and blood. Nations rise and fall by the glory and horror of war and the sacrifices made by those who have put their bodies and minds in harms way whether intentionally or not should not be forgotten by a populace who receive the fruit of their labors. By the grace of the fighting man, America has been saved. By the grace of the fighting man, America will be avenged.

God has given us the mind to shape and to mold things that are material. From this mind we create the weapons of war. The logistics to carry the war. The doctrines to be victorious in war. And yet the mind requires food as the body requires sustenance and the food of the mind is Bible Doctrine. The Word of God is the mind of Christ and we are commanded to have this mind in us. Precept upon precept; line upon line; here a little, there a little. Bible doctrine fortifies the mind and gives one strength when all alone.

Some might say "if God is so powerful why does He allow men to die"? My friends, man was created in the image of God. We are not gods but like God we have free will. God respects free will and will not utilize his divine power to alter our decisions. This truly is the Grace of God. If man uses his free will to wage war then we must use our free will to defend ourselves. Thus, when war comes God will not intervene to prevent men from killing each other as this would violate the very essence of his divine sovereignty. God respects man's decisions, for good or for ill. But be of good cheer, the Lord has not forgotten the dead:

50I declare to you, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. 51Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed 52in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 53For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. 54When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: "Death has been swallowed up in victory."[g] 55"Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?"[h] 56The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 57But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Cor 15:50-57

Do these words comfort you? Though you may weep silently to yourself in the night for the loss of your loved one know this: God has made provision for their bodily resurrection. Even now, when someone dies in Christ during a time of peace or a time of war though he is far from you their spirit is face to face with the Lord. As it is written:

15 Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints. Psalms 116:15

With the death of each Saint, God is forging his own army for the Second Advent of Christ and when Christ receives the order from the Father to commence D-Day operations on earth sometime in the future, then the Saints will march in the glory of their new bodies for one last battle which so happens to be the greatest battle of all: Armedgeddon. Not a single Saint will perish for we will be indestructible. Veterans of the Armedgeddon Campaign. Now that will be something to talk about!

For now, let us remember those who have fallen asleep.

The Left Has Won The West

Who belongs to "the Left"? The Left today are essentially lovers of big-brother government in all of its manifestations. They believe in the centralization of the federal government and the micro-management of the people with government subsistence as the guiding light in thought and action. Safety is usually the backdoor by which it imposes its will upon an unsuspecting people accustomed to living according to their own ways. Through safety and regulation, the people are enslaved. There is no escape once this type of thinking takes shape in the peoples minds as the need for ever increasing micro-management demands more and more redistribution of wealth from first the rich then to the middle class and finally the lower classes of the working caste.

Europe has essentially embraced socialism at nearly 100% throughout the Old World. This in turn has given rise to more ambitious men to take the helm of not just a single nation but the entire continent to wield its centralized power and forge a new trans-national organization that can harness each nation's attributes into a single all encompassing entity. Privacy will no longer be tolerated. Thus, collective existence is the order of the day. The government will provide for the Europeans from the cradle to the coffin. Religion too is collective in both spirit and practice in the West and with the return of Hellenism, a new pantheon of gods has arisen except that Catholicism, Protestantism, Islam and various other eastern religions have replaced Mars, Jupiter, Apollo and Athena. Religous Babylon in the middle of Europe.

America on the other hand has essentially rebuked the Old World but American leftwing elites have clung to the siren song of Europa by implementing a pseudo-socialistic system that might be compared to a high-risk insurance plan with a large deductible compared to Europes' all encompassing HMO type coverage. Nevertheless, the feudalism emanating from the Old World is fast becoming a means by which leftwing politicians from both Democrat and Republican parties are attempting to saddle upon all Americans the heavy yoke of ever-increasing government control. Once again, it usually is an appeal to "safety" or "security" by which socialism is imposed upon the United States against the wishes of the people. Culturally speaking, Hellenism too is being forced upon us by leftwing politicians and judges however if given a choice, the American public would reject this modus vivendi for being too ambiguous and politically correct. Protestant Christians founded this nation in large part and it is Christianity that is keeping it from being submerged into the abyss of collective government control, barely. On the economic front, commercial Babylon is anathema to most Christians, however, the ruling elites have deemed it necessary to continue America's dominance on the global stage by embracing NAFTA, GATT, WTO and other financial mechanisms that erode American sovereignty.

Overall, politically, economically and culturally only true Americans embrace "nativist" Commerce, Christianity and Constitution. The ruling elites, however, have sold their souls for the greater collective "good" by marching under the flag of commercial, political and religious Babylon and all that it entails. They are born American but are European at heart. Conservatives have lost. We do not control government, nor do we control the culture, nor do we control the policies that form the economy in either Europe or America. We are a fading light in an increasingly dark time. The most we can do is maintain a rear-guard action in what is otherwise a lost war for the minds and souls of America.

The Left often accuses the United States of being a "Fascist" state. But if this be true, who is to blame? It may be true that America has indeed embraced Fascism or some form thereof, but it wasn't conservatives or Christians that demanded this form of government or modus vivendi. We can only be blamed for not fighting it enough to prevent its rise in the United States since the advent of the 20th century. And now, leviathan is upon you. And you leftwingers whine about it? Good God, you deserve what is coming to you.

Long Live the Republic.

Mexico or Bust! Part II

Coyotes! Kai-yo-tais!

Why do I get the nagging sensation that President Bush's speech tonight regarding illegal Mexican aliens was too little, too late? I could tell from his voice that he didn't seem too happy with the current state of affairs and knows that no matter what he does, the American people will ultimately rise up against illegal Mexican aliens swarming our country without impunity. Like a good politician he has tried to be everything to everyone and yet has simply made everyone mad at him.

Mr. President, I believe you are trying to be a decent man in these most difficult times, but almost everything you have accomplished in the past 5 years is at stake here regarding our border with Mexico. If you do not act decisively here, then the reprecussions will have INTERNATIONAL ramifications!

Your Presidency is completely and 100% defined by the War On Terror. This is not what you ran for in 2000 and but history has bequeathed you this responsibility. This one issue of border security, like the death penalty, crosses all party and ideological lines giving you as President great leverage in both the House and Senate in forging a secure United States against the menace of state-sponsored Islamic terrorism. Many institutions in America are clamoring for an amnesty or a "don't ask: don't tell" equivelant immigration policy that ultimately undermines the War On Terror.

If you do not act decisively on the Mexican border, your ability to politically maneuver in domestic and foreign policy issues may very well be over come November. Conservatives have reached their wits end regarding illegal aliens and will not vote for the Republican Party in this years mid-term elections as a vote of "no-confidence". If Democrats gain power as a result then Iraq and ultimately Afghanistan will be abandoned by a Democrat agenda as they are the party of cowards. They simply will not carry on your legacy as they see it.

I propose the following initiatives that will bring victory to you in the coming months:

1) Build an actual stone/steel wall 10 feet thick and 12 feet high, filled- in with earth, stretching from the Pacific in California to the Rio Grande in Texas as a physical barrier to illegals as well as preventing future American politicians from using the border as a pretext for further amnesty type programs that certainly will arise 30 to 60 years from now. All the concomitant technology such as sensors, lasers, and drones should be utilized to further enhance the effectiveness of this barrier.

2) Cut-off all funding to institutions/state & local goverments/schools which refuse to cooperate in reporting illegal aliens to the INS. Arrest AMERICAN officials in these institutions for violating the law.

3) Build detention camps near the borders for incarceration and processing of illegal aliens from all across America. These camps should be maintained by the military. State, city and local law enforcement should now be empowered to arrest and send illegals to these camps for deportation rather than released under their own recognizance.

4) Rescind the law(s) that give illegal alien newborns automatic citizenship.

5) Round up all MS13 gang members in all the major American cities and hang them from the gallows. It doesn't matter if they committed a "crime" or not, their very existence defies law and order and should be smashed as the Fifth Column that they are.

I assure you, these initiatives would be completely supported by an overwhelming grateful American public and you would be greatly rewarded with additional seats in both the House and Senate. The leftwing elites would be against you, but you have the power to change things in a decisive manner that they simply would not be able to cope with during these troubling times.

Long live the Republic.

Newsflash: The Left Supports the President!

The President of Iran, that is.

With the recent "overture" from Iran in the form of a letter directly addressed to his excellency, President G.W. Bush, President Ahmedinijad of Tehran has exposed his fondness for all things left-wing. His list of grievences or demands, depending on how one might look at it, are a near-exact duplication of the political positions the Democrat Party in the United States seems to take point for point with President Bush. I wonder, is the Left taking their playbook from Iran? Or is Iran taking their playbook from the Left? Hard to tell, really.

Ahmedinijads grieviences/demands really aren't that much different than what Hillary Clinton, John Kerry, Teddy Kennedy or Howard Dean might think or say at any given moment in the Senate Chamber or at some leftwing political rally.

Ahmed's top ten demands/grieviences/questions:

1) Can one be a follower of Jesus Christ (PBUH), the great Messenger of God, Feel obliged to respect human rights, Present liberalism as a civilization model, Announce one’s opposition to the proliferation of nuclear weapons and WMDs, Make “War and Terror” his slogan, And finally, Work towards the establishment of a unified international community – a community which Christ and the virtuous of the Earth will one day govern, But at the same time, Have countries attacked; The lives, reputations and possessions of people destroyed and on the slight chance of the … of a … criminals in a village city, or convoy for example the entire village, city or convey set ablaze?

2) Or because of the possibility of the existence of WMDs in one country, it is occupied, around one hundred thousand people killed, its water sources, agriculture and industry destroyed, close to 180,000 foreign troops put on the ground, sanctity of private homes of citizens broken, and the country pushed back perhaps fifty years.

3) At what price? Hundreds of billions of dollars spent from the treasury of one country and certain other countries and tens of thousands of young men and women – as occupation troops – put in harms way, taken away from family and love ones, their hands stained with the blood of others, subjected to so much psychological pressure that everyday some commit suicide ant those returning home suffer depression, become sickly and grapple with all sorts of aliments; while some are killed and their bodies handed of their families.

4) There are prisoners in Guantanamo Bay that have not been tried, have no legal representation, their families cannot see them and are obviously kept in a strange land outside their own country. There is no international monitoring of their conditions and fate. No one knows whether they are prisoners, POWs, accused or criminals. European investigators have confirmed the existence of secret prisons in Europe too. I could not correlate the abduction of a person, and him or her being kept in secret prisons, with the provisions of any judicial system.

5) Young people, university students and ordinary people have many questions about the phenomenon of Israel. I am sure you are familiar with some of them. Throughout history many countries have been occupied, but I think the establishment of a new country with a new people, is a new phenomenon that is exclusive to our times. Students are saying that sixty years ago such a country did no exist. They show old documents and globes and say try as we have, we have not been able to find a country named Israel.

6) Why is it that any technological and scientific achievement reached in the Middle East regions is translated into and portrayed as a threat to the Zionist regime? Is not scientific R&D one of the basic rights of nations?

7) Lies were told in the Iraqi matter. What was the result? I have no doubt that telling lies is reprehensible in any culture, and you do not like to be lied to.

8) The main pretext for an attack on Iraq was the existence of WMDs. This was repeated incessantly – for the public to, finally, believe – and the ground set for an attack on Iraq. The question here is “what has the hundreds of billions of dollars, spent every year to pay for the Iraqi campaign, produced for the citizens?” As your Excellency is aware, in some states of your country, people are living in poverty. Many thousands are homeless and unemployment is a huge problem.

9) Many people around the wolrd feel insecure and oppose the spreading of insecurity and war and do not approve of and accept dubious policies. The people are protesting the increasing gap between the haves and the have-nots and the rich and poor countries. The people are disgusted with increasing corruption.

And finally,

10) Liberalism and Western style democracy have not been able to help realize the ideals of humanity.

If you hear a Democrat talking then compare their talking points to Ahmed's and see if there is a difference. Good luck.

Ghost of Nicholai

With the approval yesterday of Russia's emigre Eastern Orthodox Churches that fled Moscow after the Bolshevik Revolution in 1917 to unite with their Mother Church in Moscow, a significant and historic event is emerging as the religion of Russia is becoming more and more reunited with the State.

From Radio Free Europe:

The Russian Orthodox Church Abroad today adopted a historic recommendation that would accept the Moscow patriarch, Aleksy II, as its head. If it receives final approval from its leaders, the resolution will end more than 80 years of bitter separation.

The All-Diaspora Council of the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad, which comprises both clergy and laypeople, overwhelmingly voted to reunite with the Moscow Patriarchate at a synod held today in San Francisco.

The Moscow Patriarchate today hailed the resolution. "The decision of the All-Diaspora Council is an event of great significance," said Father Nikolai, the secretary for inter-Orthodox relations at the Moscow Patriarchate. "It is an important step toward restoring full unity between the Moscow Patriarchate and the part of the Russian emigration that was isolated from it as a result of the revolution, the civil war in Russia, and the ensuing impious persecution against the Orthodox Church."

Just a month ago Radio Free Europe also reported on the growing importance and influence of the Orthodox Church to the Russian State under Vladimir Putin.

At a recent convention, Russian Orthodox Church and political leaders spoke of their vision of Russia redefining its place in the world. But is it a vision everyone agrees with?

In particular, the 10th World Council of Russian People, an umbrella organization of national patriotic and public organizations, focused on two topics: the Russian Orthodox Church's interpretation of human rights and Russia's mission in the 21st century.

The council, created in 1993, brings together Russians from home and abroad and is under the aegis of the Russian Orthodox Church and the Kremlin.

With the absense of the communist party as the all-guiding demi-god of Russian culture, the Orthodox Church has flooded back in as the moral force behind Russian ambitions throughout Russia as well as on its periphery. Is it possible the coming unification of Church and State in Russia portends the ressurection of the Czar?

Opening the council on April 4, the head of the Russian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Aleksy II, set the anti-globalization and anti-Western tone of the event. He spoke of the "unique" historical coexistence of different confessions and nationalities in Russia. And he also questioned the concept of Western human rights.

Addressing the conference the next day, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that "Russia's uniqueness" should be defended amid the "drive of globalization." Lavrov said that Russia should transform itself into an "independent force in international politics, which fits in with its national and religious uniqueness."

Also on the agenda were discussions about the Western concept of human rights. In UN documents, human rights are natural and inalienable rights of every person from birth. But the Russian Orthodox Church contends that human rights are granted by God or by state and therefore are not inalienable.

Metropolitan Kirill, the author of the Russian Orthodox Church's human rights declaration, said that Russian clerics reject the concept of "moral autonomy" and do not consider the Universal Declaration of Human Rights adopted by the UN in 1949 to really be universal as it originated in the West.

Kirill also condemned homosexuality, abortion, gambling, and euthanasia and said the Russian Orthodox Church does not accept the liberal thesis that "human rights prevail over the interests of society."
He said that church believers and atheists have a very different understanding of notions such as "human dignity" and "rights and freedom." Slizka, speaking at the convention, accused the West of "imposing on the world the values of Western society."

Clearly the Russian Orthodox Church considers the rise of Hellenism in the West as a distinct threat to Russian identity and I suspect will serve as the basis to rally all Russians to support the ancient homeland against the real and perceived threats that Moscow feels coming from their ancient and most dangerous enemy: Europa.

The most striking provision of the document says that "freedom of choice leads to self-destruction and damages human dignity." According to the document, the church itself will be the arbitrator of good and evil: "it is the religious tradition [that is designed] to distinguish between the good and the evil."

The council perhaps shows how the Russian Orthodox Church is positioning itself to be the "ultimate guide"that the Communist Party once was in the Soviet Union. In a welcome statement to the council, President Putin endorsed that role.

The Secular Christ

Christianity is not a religion. A lot of Christians may be religious but they do so in complete defiance to Christ himself. Religion in all of its facets and forms comes down to one principle: preoccupation with self. Me, me, me, me; you, you, you, you to the exclusion of Jesus Christ. What can you do for God? What can I do for myself? How can I get people and God to notice me? The message of salvation has been extant throughout human history and thankfully it rests entirely upon the work of God. Man can take no credit, even if he steals it or associates himself with God, God will not recognize man's "contribution" to God's plan nor accept it. That's why Christ himself was against the religious authority of the day that prevailed in Israel. He wasn't against Jews for he himself was the King of the Jews and was sent by God to the Jew first to present his portfolio as their savior and prince.

The rejection of Christ by religious Jews is not entirely a "Jewish" problem. It was a religious one. If Christ had gone to Rome then the religious pagan authorities there would have crucified him in Italy. If he had gone to China first then the Asiatic religious authorities there would have murdered him to preserve their power as well. The message of Christ was that for all of man's "beauty" and good works no matter how much he may have "sacrificed" for God, he still fell short of God's righteousness. God has rejected the self-righteousness of man. And that my friends is good news! Thank God he has rejected our works of righteousness and all the hypocrisy and deception that goes with it. We can free ourselves from the shackles of religion as well as its addictions by a one-time innoculation that requires no merit on our part: Faith alone in Christ alone. By accepting Christ as your Savior you are saying to God that you cannot make it to heaven by your own works in part or whole and that you acknowledge the perfect righteousness of God as the only basis of your salvation.

This fundamental concept is what changed the Roman Empire forever and ultimately Western Europe from its backward pagan modus vivendi. You will note, only in the Roman Empire was this belief embraced and in all other places of the world, including Israel, it would be rejected en masse. Small minorities would come to accept Christ and reject religion in other parts of the world but sadly not enough to change the culture that they belonged to in a world ruled by religion.

When Christ returns at the Second Advent, he comes not as a humble saviour but as a conquering hero. His return will mark a significant demarcation in the history of humanity in that religion will be relegated to the dustbin of history. Judiaism, Catholicism, Protestantism, Islam, Hindu, Buddhism, Shinto and all the other religions in between will cease to exist for all practical purposes. Jesus Christ is reality. His physical presence in the Capitol of Israel in one fell swoop will render religion obsolete when he returns to Jerusalem as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

What think ye of Christ?

1Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. 2I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."

22I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. 23The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp. 24The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their splendor into it. 25On no day will its gates ever be shut, for there will be no night there. 26The glory and honor of the nations will be brought into it. 27Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life. Rev 21:1-4; 22-27

Commercial Babylon

A few words regarding the Illegal Alien "demonstrations" yesterday.

Since the intrusion of IA's on the streets of America's major cities, its clear our country will not prosecute them from the President of the United States on down to federal, state and local officials. The media, the Catholic Church, the Republican and Democrat parties are all complicit in maintaining a servant class within America for their own various and obnoxious reasons. How can they in office tell us law-abiding citizens to bascially f--- off and still maintain any modicum of respect from the electorate? To hell with these creeps in office for their blasphemies!!

We are citizens of Rome! Where is Caesar? Where are the legions? Its clear that another 9/11 is going to occur and it will be the ruling class' fault for their creation of another slave-state, this time illegal Mexican "immigrants", who no doubt have become the weakest link in our chain on the War on Terror.

This predicament is a direct result of the rush to NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement) with its emphasis on a "borderless" Western Hemisphere that knows no economic boundaries. Have the ruling class gone stark raving mad? Is there no common sense? Have they all betrayed the United States Constitution by selling their birthright for a bowl of pottage? Outragious duplicity and lies! All of them. There is going to be hell to pay come November and the Republicans will be the first to lose. Democrats may think they have achieved victory, but they too will feel the heat.

The more America sees this lawlessness the more it will demand a nationalistic response. The more we are hit with terrorism the more angrier we will become and the demands for America to return home will become louder and more forthright.

Woe to Republicans this fall. Woe to President Bush for making a deal with the devil!
