Signposts Of Prophecy

It's been awhile since I have written on these pages but I wish to touch on certain indicators of prophecy that I believe are continuing to congeal before our eyes. The impressive turn of events in Tunisia and Egypt this month remind us that things can change in a matter of weeks or even days when by all appearances the overthrow of existing political orders should never happen in the first place.

Through these indicators we begin to anticipate great things as far as the Jew or Christian is concerned at least they who are the righteous, Jew, Gentile and Christian. And yet, we must understand that we are still in the Church Age, the great parenthesis of biblical eschatology, and that these indicators are for another age apart from this Age of Grace. And though, we may identify and even see the faint outline of future political, economic, and religious characters on this current world stage- we must not place them in our Church Age but bear in mind that these persons, places and things are reserved for the Age of Israel. The demarcation between the Age of Israel and the Age of the Church will be the Rapture which is simply the resurrection of the Church both dead and alive.

No one knows when the Rapture will occur because if you think of Heaven as another country and God as its Executive branch with Jesus Christ as its Prime Minister if you will, then a lot depends on mankind's relation(s) with the Ambassadors of this Divine Country, who currently belong to the Church. When enough people on earth collectively reject the Demarche from Heaven, that is, accept Christ as their liege Lord, then God the Father will remove his Ambassadors to Earth as a grave sign of his divine displeasure. It seems this tipping point is close at hand but in fairness, many Christians in many different times have felt it was near when it in hindsight was not. That being said, we never have been so globally connected as we are now and thus man on a worldwide scale can accept or reject the Demarche en masse as never before.

Additionally, as you may or may not know, when ambassadors are recalled from another country then usually a state of war exists between the two countries. The Rapture therefore is the recall of Gods' ambassadors from earth with the concomitant reduction in relations between the two civilizations. It could happen tonight or it might not happen for another thousand years. However, when it does occur then the Age of the Church will close and the Age of Israel will resume where it left off at the First Advent of Christ in 30 AD. We call it the Age of Israel because the nation and its people will take center stage as they must endure God's punishment for sins and transgressions against him in times past per the Book of Daniel.

Nearly 99% of the Age of Israel had passed when our Lord last walked the earth in 30 AD. Only 1 percent remains and it will last only a mere seven years when it does resume after the Rapture. After this then the Age of Israel will finally close and a new Age will be ushered in with the Millennial Reign of Christ where Israel takes center stage not for punishment of past sins but where she so rightly belongs as the nation basking in the glory of God's light. Her King will be the King of Kings and her Lord will be the Lord of Lords. Her enemies will be vanquished and the Church will reign with Christ in resplendent glory. Maps will be redrawn-New nations will be formed and old nations destroyed for their relationship to Israel and to the Church, the body of Christ or their lack thereof. Religion in all of its myriad forms, Satan's answer to God's Grace, will be vanquished as we will all see Christ in the flesh ruling the earth from Israel.

Until then, we only have signposts to tell us how close we are to our final destination. I count 14 signposts (there may be more) and as we review them I think you will find that indeed we are very close to the event-horizon that will be the Rapture as the next prophetic event on the eschatological calendar. I have grouped the "sign posts" into several categories - political, economic, cultural, religious and cultural/technology.

Political Signposts

Israel - The first and foremost sign that we are nearing the end of the Church Age is the rebirth of the nation of Israel. Prophecy cannot proceed forward without the nation of Israel and the Jew. End of story! Or it would be without Israel. There can be no anti-Christ were it not for Israel for the anti-Christ breaks the military treaty protecting Israel from her Moslem enemies during the middle of the Tribulation. There could be no False Prophet were it not for Israel for he comes from this country singing the praises of the anti-Christ. Even the number 666 could not become operational without the nation of Israel for it is the False Prophet of Israel who declares that all should be marked with that number who owe their allegiance to the anti-Christ. None of the prophecies in both the Old and New Testament could come to pass without the nation of Israel being in existence save one prophetic event not related to her - the Rapture of the Church. Thus, we must conclude that Israel's national resurrection in 1948 must be counted as extremely important and the final turn towards Armageddon or the Second Advent of Jesus Christ. Of course, the Second Advent of Christ could not be operational unless there is a nation called Israel in existence in the same geographical location that it currently resides in when Christ first walked on earth in the flesh nearly 2000 years ago.

King Of The South - In Daniel 11, the nation of Israel confronts the rise of the Greek gentile world power that would come to enslave Israel. However, its clear that this chapter also anticipates the rise of a great power that resides in Israel's southern sphere of influence way into the future beyond the rise and fall of the Greek empire that was anchored in the Middle East after the death of Alexander the Great in antiquity. Today, the King of the South must be placed within Israel's timeline politically speaking. In other words, since 1948 when Israel was resurrected as a nation, what power has resided south of Jerusalem? Ethnically and religiously it currently is the Arab and the Moslem in that order. Today, the Arabic Moslem hegemony resides in the state of Egypt as it's political capital and Saudi Arabia as its religious capital. Since 1948, the King of the South has not always been "Moslem" religiously as the Arabs experimented with fascistic social structures in the religious absence of the Caliphate until the rise of the Ayatolollahs and the Shia Moslems in Iran showed the way for the Sunni in 1979. Since then, we have seen the steady rise of the Moslem Brotherhood and all its offshoots in various Sunni Moslem countries such as Egypt (which they are based) to all of the North African countries as well as to all of the Arabian countries that sit on the Saudi periphery such as Yemen, Kuwait, Bahrain and Qatar. Even now, uprisings all across North Africa from Tunisia to Egypt to Bahrain and Yemen have crystallised these countries in favor of the Moslem Brotherhood. The so called Arab Spring is only defrosting the Moslem Brotherhood and giving them the breathing room to seize power as previous "pro-Western" Arabs kept them in the freezer with their anti-MB policies. As a result, we may see the rise of a new caliphate that has a specific Sunni orientation that will be completely be at odds with not only Israel but their heretical cousins sitting in Iran.

Kings Of The East - In the book of Revelation, the Anti-Christ, the False Prophet and the Dragon (Satan himself) send demonic emissaries to the "kings" of the east with explicit instructions to march their Asiatic armies westward to Israel during the latter half of the Tribulation. The Kings obey and send their armies marching west to cross the dried out riverbed of the Euphrates River which normally would have blocked such a military adventure. This is not the same army that John saw that is numbered at 200 million that exits out of the Euphrates riverbed and is led by 4 fallen angelic generals. But I digress, the kings of the east on the other hand, are led by other human Asiatic generals. Again, back to the east, we see since 1948 the slow and steady erection of an Asian Co-Prosperity Sphere not unlike Japan's forced attempt at one before and during WWII in which it would have been Japanese in orientation. Since the Japanese defeat in 1945, with the blessings of the United States and Europe, the Asians are slowly coming together to form a regional political and economic power bloc that includes Japan, China, Vietnam, Singapore, Taiwan, Philippines, Thailand and of course, Korea. And it may include the masses of the Indian peoples as well someday. Needless to say, their importance to global trade cannot be stressed enough since 1948 they have come from being a backwater local power and slave economy to being nearly a superman economically and politically over America and Europe. They only lack a military component at this moment but I'm sure as events unfold in the coming future this too may be resolved in their favor. The fact that the Chinese renmimbi and the Japanese Yen or a mixture thereof have been discussed as replacing the "almighty" American dollar as a global currency should remind us that indeed the "kings" of Asia are now poised to assume their place in prophetic history. Even the Chinese are starting to underwrite the American and European debt problem that has so vexed the West since the end of the Cold War.

King Of The North - Since the resurrection of Israel, the one power that is of any significance that sits North of Jerusalem would have to be Russia and her allies. Ezekiel 38 & 39 outlines the King of the North's intention as Magog to invade Israel and the Middle East and the North's ultimate destruction by the hands of God. Since 1948, the Middle East has once again come to the attention of Moscow just as it did in the days of the Czars, however, unlike in the days of the Czars, the Middle East now includes the state of Israel. Today, Russia finds herself thwarted politically at least by Israel and her ability to sabotage any initiative by Russia to increase her influence over the Levant and its environs much to her chagrin. The exception to this would be Iran, since the overthrow of the Shah, a pro-western leader, Iran has maintained a decisively anti-American and anti-Western paradigm by playing Russia against the West and vice versa in the Persian Gulf locally and in the Middle East at large. The book of Ezekiel clearly states that the King of the North will have allies and significantly one of these allies will be Persia, which is present day Iran. There will be other allies that could include Turkey as well but this is mere speculation on my part. However, as you may know, politics makes strange bedfellows! For example, who would have ever guessed that Stalin's Communist Russia would make a devil's pact with Hitler's Nazi Germany over the conquest of Poland in 1939? The same could be said of Turkey in her relation with Russia if the European Union does not accept Turkey's entry into that political bloc. Or if Turkey thinks it can strike out on its own then perhaps she will side with Russia and her allies in any future conflagration that might involve Israel and the West. It was only a couple of months ago that Ankara hosted a summit between herself, Iran and Russia as the beneficiaries of a future economic entity to rival OPEC and perhaps even a military bloc to match Europe and America. Again, 1948 features prominently because it was then that Turkey became a NATO ally when Israel became a nation. However, since the rise of the AK Islamic Party under Erdogan beginning in early 2000, Turkey has decisively tilted in a pro-Islamic stance and her relations with both Europe, American and Israel has disintegrated significantly enough to wonder whether she will stay with NATO or go her own way. This can only serve Russian interests. Less talked about however, is Russia's ability to be a major energy exporter and deal breaker. Russia today sends her energy exports to Europe such as oil, gas and coal. And she uses her exports to leverage any political/military advantage over her enemies real or perceived. If she were to grab the Middle East and physically control the oil there then what would Europe and China do? If Russia felt her integrity and sovereignty threatened or if she was outright attacked by a southern hegemon then perhaps this would be one of those crisis' that would be too good to go to waste? Perhaps Russia's control over the pipelines of oil and gas running through Turkey could paralyze Europe into subservience to Moscow's strategic plans which in the mind of a Russian might just be incentive enough no matter how crazy it may sound, could in times of trouble, be the one "solution" to Russia's xenophobia to the outside world especially if the Russian feels the West wants to "control" Mother Russia by other means.

King of the West - Not since Charlemagne has "Europe" been united under one German king. The last time "Europe" was united previously was under Roman Caesars and only then for a couple of hundred years in which it disintegrated with the advent of the Germanic tribes that came to occupy and ultimately pillage the ossified Roman Empire by the 5th Century. Between the 5th and 11th centuries, a period of 600 years, the German peoples congealed roughly into the nations we see today in Europe. And it wasn't until the 12th Century AD that we begin to see the advent of Europa onto the world stage beginning with, ironically enough, the sacking of Jerusalem in 1099 AD in the First Crusade outside the environs of Europe. The Franks, the English, the Germans and the Italians all had a hand in the Crusades that for nearly 200 years would harass the Islamic Caliphate that ruled that part of the world. Even in Byzantium, the crown jewel of Christendom in the Middle East, they too came to seek military aid then ultimately political and religious union with the West. However, the subject peoples of both civilizations of Christendom would come to reject such a notion. As time went on, the West under the German people would come to dominate the world in its myriad forms either under French, Spanish, Dutch, Portuguese, Austrian, Swedish, or British flags. Even the divided Italians came to dominate the Mediterranean with their small city states and navies. On the continent of Europe, the Holy Roman Empire came closest in resembling a "unified" Europe though it was extremely weak at the "federal" level of government. Then in the 19th Century, arose Germany as the fountainhead of the Germanic people, to slowly conquer and terrify the nations of Western and Eastern Europe. But then something odd occurred in the 20th Century - Europe collapsed upon itself. Again, irony has a way intruding itself on history, Germany waged war in the West to seize control of the West. Both the first and second world war completely engulfed Europe and ultimately bled it so dry that Europe could no longer venture out into the world as it had for nearly 800 years previously. In its place two hegemons, Russia and the United States, vied for control of Europe as the cockpit of strategic control of the world. Since 1948 with the advent of Israel, we see how Europe has been licking its wounds and unable to control events except at a marginal level. However, it appears, that all may change shortly. Russia has vacated eastern Europe since the end of the Cold War. The United States appears to be next as her debts have come home to roost inadvertly causing America to question the validity of paying for her armies to control the parts of the world that the West used to control during the 19th and early part of the 20th Century. As a result, we should see the United States slowly retreat from the world, especially western Europe and return back to her Western Hemispheric sphere of influence in the New World. Europe will once more control her fate but this time Israel will be in existence just as it was under the Roman Empire. Since 1948, after nearly losing everything, the West has been solidifying politically and economically while America has guarded her frontier with Russia. First came the WEU, or Western European Union, then came the EEC or European Economic Community also known as the Treaty of Rome. Now, it has emerged as the European Union and is slowly gaining ground as a political unit as much as an economic one. The Book of Daniel and Revelation predicts the advent of a 10 Nation confederation specifically anchored in the West. Out of this union of ten nations will arise the anti-Christ per the book of Daniel and Revelation. Even now, we see the EU struggling with out of control social spending thus threatening their rather large and unwieldy organization that currently includes some 23 European nations. Will a massive economic shock reduce the EU to a mere "union" of 10 nations? There is talk that the EU is too big and that some nations will have to peal off and go their own ways at least economically such as Greece and Ireland. And just recently, the EU has created the position of High Representative for foreign affairs and its own diplomatic corps thus signifying the return of a unified "Europe". Even now, as the Arab Spring runs its course in Libya, NATO under European command is now taking center stage as it now commands American forces in Libya as well its own European military organizations to strike at Quaddafi and his forces. The Europeans are a little rusty after playing second fiddle to the USA since 1945 but slowly they will prove formidable once more in military matters. Again, Israel will play their part for Europe either under Britain with Tony Blair leading political and religious initiatives to bring peace to Palestine between the Arab and the Jew or as France pushing for a Mediterranean Union stretching from Algeria to Israel and though it may be in vain nevertheless they are back into the game of foreign policy on a Europe wide level. Germany today is slowly flexing its military muscle after being neutered since the end of WWII. Only America stands in the way. Europe again will not be as relevant to the Middle East until America fully disengages from Europe and the Levant.

Economic Signposts

Globalization - Never has the world been so interconnected economically as it is now. Since the end of WWII in 1945 and by the time Israel came into existence in 1948, the world began trading using American dollars as the global reserve currency with the advent of the Bretton Woods Accord. It used to be the British Pound as the reserve currency but World War II changed all that. Most of the world is connected into this system or if they are not they certainly trade their resources for the almighty dollar such as Russia for natural gas and the Middle East for oil. Even the communists with their eternal hatred of all things capitalist succumbed and offered their peoples up for slave labor to service the West and the world with their cheap labor. This is very important when we consider that the False Prophet demands all people must accept the "mark of the beast" in order to trade and to sell and the fact the West is the rudder of this world wide system is no accident.

Commercial Babylon - With globalization as standard operating procedure for worldwide trade, we find that the ruling elite in almost all the countries within this sphere are "Babylonian" in nature. They are not economic nationalists who wish their nation to succeed at the expense of another but are "Babylonian" in their view and seek to betray their peoples to world wide subservience to this economic order. Babylonians betray their own nation's sovereignty to serve the order and we see this not merely in the United States but in Europe, Asia, and Africa. Chinese Communist ruling elites sell out their people to the capitalist West. The ruling elites in the United States sell out their people and allow Mexico to export their cheap labor across the border by looking the other way while illegal aliens cross with impunity. European ruling elites tell their people to accept the economic order of the EU at the expense of their own sovereign position in the world. The subject peoples sit helpless as they watch these events unfold incapable of action. The lack of trade with borders has given way to trade without borders and none dare question it's efficacy. Never in the history of man has this condition existed within the ruling elite. They are truly men without a country. They are commercial Babylonians.

666 - In the future the number of the anti-Christ will be required in order to buy and sell. The number of the anti-Christ is either "implanted" or "etched" in the skin or on the skin of the right hand or the forehead specifically. Not only is the technology now operational it will go hand in hand with the advent of globalization and the mentality of the commercial Babylonian. Today, animals have been "chipped" and is experiantially showing the capability and usefulness of said technology. Companies have created tiny capsules with RFID(radio frequency identification) technology that can actually be powered by the sound of the heartbeat or flow of blood. Combined with WIFI technology then suddenly we find ourselves facing exactly what the Book of Revelation so explicitly pointed out what would be the outstanding identifier of the anti-Christ when he will arise.

Religious Signposts

The Temple of Israel - To date the Temple in Israel has not been reconstructed. The Second Temple as built by Herod was destroyed in 70AD. However, I strongly believe it will be rebuilt during the Church Age. I believe this because it was destroyed in the Church Age in 70 AD by the Roman Legions that crushed Israel in their rebellion against the Empire. Thus, it should be rebuilt at the end of the Church Age, at least if there is symmetry in the plan of God. Even now, the Levitical Priesthood is now being staffed by Jews in Israel for the eventual erection of the Temple that will someday come. Also, the implements of Temple rituals are now created for their use in the daily sacrifice that will certainly be resurrected, if I dare say, for use in the Temple.

The Harlot - The Book Of Revelation has recorded within its pages a false Church that will rule the West. This False Church will have all the trappings of many religions mingled within its doctrines. This false Church rises with the 10 Nation Confederation that will come to power in Western Europe. The Roman Catholic Church fits this description the best when we consider how pervasive is the pan-theistic doctrines that suffuse this organization. And really, the Catholic Church truly controls most of the world at least in terms of its religious influence. It certainly has controlled Europe religiously and politically for nearly 1500 years. Some might say the Catholic Church has reached and surpassed its zenith especially in Europe however, they are certainly in a position today to come back big in European politics and religious affairs especially in Europe. Interestingly, since the false Church rises with the 10-Nation Confederation its future completely rests with the Confederation, thus, it will fall with the 10-Nation Confederation when the anti-Christ arises with the advent of the Fourth Reich that will supplant this political organization. The antagonism towards the Harlot is evident even now among atheists as the Catholic Church is considered one of its greatest enemies. Even with the European Union now in place, the Catholic Church is seeking greater recognition of its role in European History and wants the "constitution" of the EU to include references to its Christian past.

Religious Babylon - The idea that all religions are the same and Christianity is the same as all religions is a heresy of the highest order. Christianity depends on Jesus Christ for salvation. Religion depends on one's self for salvation. The two doctrines are completely at odds with each other. Yet, many Christians, due to lack of Bible Doctrine, have given themselves to religious living and thinking that has no basis in Christianity. In fact, if we define Christian spirituality as knowledge and belief in bible doctrine then indeed many Christians today are spiritually dead for they have rejected doctrine and invested their time in works and things physically titillating that is so common among the "religious". In the absence of bible doctrine the mind is filled with religious dogma including the idea that man is good and everyone believes in the same God. Like the commercial Babylonian, the Religious Babylonian has forsaken their own country, that is, Christendom is rejected for a pantheistic community of religious believers. Today, the world is so fused with this idea we now see ecumenical movements in almost all the Churches as well as governments and among nations. Interestingly enough, the most ecumenical counsels reject the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, Jesus Christ, that they dare not speak his name lest the ecumenical movement is somehow diluted with true doctrine.

Cultural/Technological Signposts

Fornications - The sexually deviant have always been around, however, never has it been so institutionalized as it is today. The mad dash towards homosexual acceptance at the institutional level is but one manifestation of the deviancy of this movement that has been gathering steam since World War II. And it's not just occurring in Europe and America but over the entire world. Fornications at all levels before, during and after marriage strikes at the very heart of what it means to be married between a man and a woman and what it means to create a family. In the Book of Revelation, an angel proclaims to the inhabitants of God that he judges mankind for their fornications among other things and today we see how deviancy is now the norm and being embraced fully by governments, schools, military, businesses and even Churches. An acceptance of fornications is a rejection of Christian life and doctrine.

Knowledge - The advancement of academic knowledge in general even while the masses of people reject Christianity, the ultimate knowledge rooted in the revelation of God to man, has now reached its peak. Never have so many people been as "literate" as they are today. The advent of television, newspapers, cable, magazines, movies and of course, the Internet has made people more knowledgeable of their environment than ever in human history. The Book Of Daniel in the Old Testament predicted the increase of knowledge by mankind at the end of the Age of Israel and certainly knowledge in general has exponentially increased beyond imagination.

Unwalled Cities - Cities without walls was completely unusual when the Bible was written. The invasion of the Middle East by the future King of the North is predicated on the fact that the cities have no walls thus are vulnerable to invasion. The Book of Ezekiel notes how Magog, the King of the North, acknowledges publicly how the cities are ripe for invasion and completely defenseless since they have no walls. Today, cities have no walls as military technology has rendered this historical defense against an invader completely obsolete.

Judge For Yourself

I'm sure there are more signposts I could point out but you get the picture. So many things continue to align themselves politically, economically, religiously, and militarily as to verify the prophetic truth that Christ will return and the Saints to inherit and rule the world with the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Prepare for the judgment of God.

Programming Note

Please excuse the long absence regarding my blog posts. The last year or so has be quite abnormal for me as I had a baby girl born into the family and then subsequently lost my job. I thought being home I would have a whole lotta time to write and commensurate via the blog but alas I have to honestly admit I'm more busier now than when I worked at my previous employer! I find myself staying up late after getting the boys to bed and just trying to relax by "vegging" out in front of the TV or just browsing the Internet.

That being said, I did open another blog regarding my wargame nights called Kriegspielnacht. Even here, I'm struggling to just keep that blog updated as my duties at home take precedence over gaming, as they should.

Anyway, I do plan on getting back to a regular schedule of posts regarding current events and politics. Please stay turned.

A New Middle East Order

Ever since the Turkish Aid Flotilla violated Israeli waters and was boarded by Israeli forces against the apparent wishes of the United Nations and the Obama Administration in the United States, it appears that Turkey once again has made itself felt not only in the Mediterranean world and in the Middle East but on the world stage with long term negative consequences to the detriment of the Atlantic Alliance. I believe a new order is arising in the Middle East that will affect the current strategic balance in favor of Russia and leave the West in an inferior geopolitical position. Behold, a new Axis of Evil - Russia, Turkey and Iran.

If you have followed my blog for the past several years, you will know that I have never accepted that Turkey would be admitted into the European Union. There are just too many factors that mitigate against a Turkish accession into what is largely a Christian/Secular/Traditional/Progressive Europe which Ataturk's Turkey possesses none of the European "virtues" that other European nations have as far as Brussels is concerned. I know that Ankara would beg to differ but alas we see in Europe a rise against all things Moslem and ultimately Turkish in the rejection of the Hijab (France), rejection of minarets (Switzerland), limits on Moslem immigration (Netherlands), demands that Turkish immigrants to Germany disavow their language and customs to be more like Germans and many more minor issues that have arisen to challenge the Moslem Turkish inclusion into the European Union. Then there is the touchy subject of the Armenian Holocaust that Turkey disavows at every opportunity to the point of breaking off diplomatic relations by Ankara against any nation from Sweden to the USA that might support the Armenian Diaspora albeit a century too late that there is simply no bridging the gap for the Turks to entwine themselves into Western Europe. And I believe the Turks know this. And I respect their position in this matter. Let us therefore come to terms with the reality that Turkey is no longer an ally of the West and the next logical step is their "ex-communication" from NATO.

When the United States was attacked on 9/11 by Moslem Terrorists she initiated a clause in the NATO Treaty that called for the defense of the United States by all partners within the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. Whatever each government could provide for the defense of another alliance member whether military, economic, police, legal or other services would be and was greatly welcomed by the United States against her enemies. NATO was on board against the Pakistani supported Taliban in Kabul late in 2001 but hesitated when the United States trained their eyes on Saddam Hussein and Iraq. Yes, the French were against an Iraqi invasion but nevertheless continued supporting us by other means. Ankara however, completely threw sand into our faces when as a NATO ally refused to support operations into Iraq on the eve of invasion and deliberately obstructed our military operations specifically the US Fourth Infantry Division from invading from the North of Iraq into Baghdad from Turkey in 2003. The US Fourth Division had to instead load up all their material on ships and move out of Turkish territory and invade Iraq from Kuwait. By then the US Fourth Infantry's services were too late to deliver the necessary force to Saddam's retreating army in the North and I believe allowed the Saddam Hussein regime to move out their WMD program lock, stock and barrel to either Iran or Syria through a northern route unmolested by the US Army. Saddam had a history of moving his military assets to Iran (Gulf War) and burying military assets literally in the desert sand. Since then relations between the US and Turkey have been strained to say the least and Ankara's devotion to NATO has been degraded as a result.

Israel too has been harmed by Turkey's ascent of Erdogan's political party (AKP) in the past ten years that what was once a rock solid relationship between Jerusalem and Ankara from a previous un-moslem Turkish regime has now been reduced to a failed and miserable marriage in which divorce is surely in the future for this very delicate relationship in the Middle East. The latest outrage coming from Ankara was the Hamas relief flotilla that has sealed the breakup of the Israeli/Turkish alliance contrary to whatever the Turkish government may say. Then there is the detente between Damascus and Ankara that can only serve Syrian interests at the expense of Israel by Turkey. Hezbollah is a Moslem Terrorist organization based in Lebanon and supported by Syria and Iran. Turkey's friendly overtures to Syria can only to serve to aggravate Jerusalem and ultimately Washington with the potential of another supporter of Hezbollah and Syria against Israel.

The rupturing of the EU accession, the eleventh hour sabotage of the American invasion of Iraq by a NATO ally the magnitude of which has never occurred in the annals of NATO, the up and coming divorce between Ankara and Jerusalem by political provocations in support of Iranian backed terrorist groups and a new Syrian-Turkish alliance against Israel can only mean one thing - Turkey has fallen away and will never return to the West. Where does she go from here? Does she go it "alone"? Or is there another house that she can move into that would lay out a red carpet for her? Enter Russia.

I used to think that Turkey would never countenance a Russian on their soil due to the long, long, long history of conflict between these two nations. But time does indeed heal and opportunities arise that force itself to the front without having to consider past ignominies and allow an opportunity to pass without the proper forbearance to embrace such a great prize. In other words, never let a crisis go to waste! In this case, Ankara's pariah status in the West. Turkey has gone rogue but she is not alone.

Russia has now offered Turkey Moscow's nuclear blessings. The Russians have agreed to build a nuclear facility within Turkey and this is but the beginning of Russia's deeper involvement with Ankara. It was Russia's involvement with Iran also that began with a nuclear reactor and facilities. It seems when Russia offers its nuclear know-how to the nations of the world those very nations seem intent on being the enemies of the United States and ultimately of the West. Even far off Brazil has been offered nuclear know-how by the Russians. Just recently, Turkey hosted a security summit between Russia, Iran and herself that bodes ill for the West.

If a new politico-military triangulation is slowly forming before our eyes with the advent of a Russian-Turkish-Iranian alliance then we can see how they would be a force credible and dangerous enough to bring not only Europe to its knees - the oil and gas control from its sources (Iran) as well as its transit points(Turkey) - but would also constrain the USA from attacking a Russian-backed satellite country(s) as she has in the past (Cuba, North Korea, Vietnam) for the stakes would be too high to embroil the West in another war with Russia. The West in general would be hard pressed to do anything "provocative" that would get the spigots turned off to vital energy supplies if Russia decided to become a bigger player in world affairs than she has been since the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989.

Finally, the last variable in this elixir of potential trouble would be the Sunni Moslems positioned south of Israel from Saudi Arabia to Egypt and to the Maghreb (Moslem North Africa) that would find themselves stuck between a decadent West as they see it and a pagan triad of the Russian-Turkish-Iranian Alliance. The Sunni Moslems consider Shiite Iran as heretics. No doubt they consider the Turks, their historical Ottoman oppressors, a heretic of sorts by rejecting the Caliphate based in Istanbul after WWI and replacing their first love of Muhammed with the worship of a false god in the man Ataturk. Then of course, there is Mother Russia which is the greatest enemy that Moslems have fought since the Mongol Hordes descended upon the Middle East nearly 700 years ago. Osama Bin Ladin cut his teeth fighting the Russians in Afghanistan and nearly all of the troubles that Moscow finds herself in regarding "Moslem Separatists and Terrorists" are Sunni in religious outlook. I suspect that the Sunni Moslems are finding themselves more and more on the defensive especially after the United States destroyed Saddam Hussein's Sunni supported Iraqi regime.

Three great powers therefore are vying for control of the greater Middle East- the North(Russia-Turkey-Iran), the West (America - EU) and the South (Saudi Arabia-Egypt-Maghreb) with little tiny Israel as the fulcrum that balances these would be power blocs against each other at any one time. Israel recently was accepted into the European based OECD (Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development) much to the consternation of the HAMAS and FATAH led Palestinians thus cementing Israel's position within the political/economic/military sphere of the West more and more. Turkey's falling away is clearly the greatest debacle to face the West since Germany was united under Bismark in 1870. Turkey could become Russia's greatest foreign policy coup since Stalin signed the non-aggression pact with Hitler on the eve of WWII giving the green light for Germany to invade Poland and ushering in the greatest war the world ever saw up to that point and to this day.

Behold! The future.

History Keeps Repeating

I'm afraid its true but history keeps repeating itself. Not because God makes it so but because man is inherently corrupt from birth and in his stupidity continues to make the same mistakes, knowingly and unknowingly, over and over again. The Ft. Hood terror attack in Texas last Friday is the latest manifestation of this existential phenomena. The murderous thug is a Moslem and he wanted to go to "Paradise" in a bang so to speak and so compelled by his Islamic religion which is codified for all to see in the Koran he chose to take the path of human good and evil and kill as many "infidels" as he could before he himself was brought down by armed force.

How many times must this equation be acted out in the malls, schools, offices, airliners and military installations in our country before we decide we no longer will put up with it? Must we endure another 9/11 type of Islamic terror attack in the future? Apparently so. The gospel of Diversity has consumed all common sense amongst our most important constituency in America - the Elites! Its one thing if the peasants are morons but quite another when our intelligentsia decide to mentally fade out and drive our nation into the ground by their drunken and doped up actions that only serve to encourage our enemies to attack us. Unfortunately, when the elites get it wrong its the peasants who suffer! Diversity and Multiculturalism is a poison destroying the vitality and martial spirit of this nation one drip at a time. Ft. Hood only occurred because "we" refused to recognize the danger "we" put ourselves in. I fully expect Islamic Terrorists to seize on this opportunity to attack us in the rear but I don't expect our elites to just "look the other way". This attack was completely preventable but the ruling elites in this country have betrayed the people with their collectivist mentality and our beautiful men in arms have paid for it with their lives!

The religion of Islam is completely incompatible with the American way of life and really incompatible with the Western way of life. There are no doctrines in the Bible calling for the murder of innocents to advance our Judeo-Christian religion but not so for the devout Moslem. For him, to kill is to serve his master well. In fact, the murder of others is the highest form of "devotion" even if it means killing their own children! Only a Moslem would consider the murder of their children as "honorable". The Sunni Moslem on Moslem violence is cynically notorious for its primeval viciousness not only towards the Jews in particular but to other religious peoples in general including Shiites amongst themselves.

My friends, this is the great elephant in the room! No amount of ignoring its stench or overlooking its mass can be innocently excused. The War Of Terror will continue until the day we decide enough is enough. Unfortunately, we have not reached that point as yet. Islamic Terrorism is extant today because they wish to return to a Caliphate in the Middle East and they think by murdering the masses that this will be the catalyst of its return. And their devious calculation may yet prove the efficacy of their way.

The Islamic Anti-Christ?

As you may well know I have a keen interest in biblical prophecy. I believe that prophecy in the Bible is part of the proof that there is a God. In fact, if there were no prophecy then there could be no hope for the believer both Jew and Gentile alike and we could not verify if the claims being made by the Lord, before or after he came in the flesh, were in fact true or false. Bible prophecy is the great identifier of friend or foe as far a Jews and Christians are concerned and in the book of Revelation, the grand central station of Bible prophecy, John even tells us that "the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy".

Lately, I have read a promotional artical on World Net Daily regarding the up and coming future anti-Christ. The author believes unlike most Christians that the future anti-Christ will not be West European but actually be Islamic and perhaps even Arabic. The author states that the prophecy in Daniel regarding the great empires that rise and fall and ulitimately lead to the anti-Christ will not culminate with a "revived Roman Empire" but instead will produce a ressurected Caliphate based in the Middle East. The critical break in the author's view being that it is the city of Babylon that is the key to unlocking this great "mystery" regarding the future anti-Christ.

Let me rebut these points in detail and let the reader come to his own conclusion.

1) Daniels prophecy of the statue & four beasts- Israel's enslavement to the great empires for her sins. In Daniel 2 and 7 we see from God that 4 great empires would arise to punish Israel for her sins against God. They don't arise to conquer Babylon but to conquer Jerusalem. God has allowed them to rise to power for this purpose to purify the soul of the jew not the Chaldeans who were the first to take Israel's sovereignty away.

Babylon, the ancient seat of the Chaldeans, was not the focus of God in Daniel but merely the first gentile nation to rule over Jerusalem. She would not be the last. The Persians came second and allowed the Jew to rebuild the temple in Jerusalem. Then came the Greeks as the third overlord of Jerusalem beginning with Alexander the Great and giving birth to Greek rule over the entire Middle East including Israel. Finally, the Romans took over where the Greeks left off and Israel becomes a vassal state to the Roman Empire just before Christ is born.

Eventually, it would be the Romans, the fourth great empire, that would trampel over Jerusalem in 70 AD and destroy the Temple the second time on exactly the 9th Day of Av of the Jewish calendar when the first great empire of the Chaldeans destroyed the first Jewish Temple over 500 years before on the same day. Christ says in Luke 24 that Jerusalem (not Babylon) shall be trodden down by the gentiles until the times of the gentiles be fulfilled.

All of these events preceded the rise of Islam in the late 7th Century. In fact, Islam claims Jerusalem and Israel as Jewish entities have never existed and certainly did not exist when they conquered Jerusalem in their own time (circular reasoning par excellence). Per Christ then the Moslems are simply another gentile power currently treading on Jewish property and as part of the great gentile masses will continue to do so until the Second Advent of Christ which ends gentile rule over JERUSALEM sometime in the future.

2) The Church Age - The Great Parenthesis. When it comes to prophecy it has to be recognized that the Church Age is a very unique time period and that it was completely invisible to the Old Testament Saints including the prophets such as Daniel himself. In Daniel 9, When Daniel is praying an Angel comes to him and explains that God has decreed 70 "sevens" upon the people of Israel to "finish the transgression, put an end to sin, to atone for wickedness, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up visions and prophecy, and to anoint the most holy" the angel also mentions something very important - there is a break in the 70 weeks of seven years due to the First Advent of Jesus Christ-

"know and undstand this: from the issuing of the decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the Anointed One, the ruler, comes, there will be seven and sixty-two sevens (69 weeks of seven years). After the sixty-two sevens the anointed one will be cut off and will have nothing".

After 69 weeks of seven years from the time the First Temple is rebuilt to the First Advent of Christ we see that Christ is "cut off" and the resumption of the last week is not fulfilled until "he" confirms a covenant with many for one (last) seven. The Angel speaking to Daniel goes on and says something very significant - the people of the ruler who will come will destroy the city and sanctuary (of Jeruslaem). We know from this conversation the Angel is not talking about the destruction of the city of Jerusalem and the Temple by the Chaldeans under Nebachanezzer because by this time that event was past. Here the Angel is speaking about the future second destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple and we know this because 70 sevens have been decreed by God as just announced by the Angel to Daniel. And by the 69th seven (483 years later) Christ is born but will be cutoff by the crucifixion. Crucifixion in fact and deed administered by none other than the Roman Empire in 30 AD. Islam you will note is no where to be seen until the 7th century way into the great parenthesis known as the Church Age some 600 years later.

We also know who the origin of the "people of the ruler who will come" that destroys Jerusalem and the Temple a second time because in the city of Rome itself a great arch was commemorated for the conquest of Israel showing none other than the Jewish Menora on a freize as the spoils of war in Rome itself in the heart of Italia! Nope, not in Riyadh or Mecca but in Rome we find these facts. Islam once again is no where to be found.

Between the 69th week and the 70th week that God has decreed for Israel's punishment the "great parenthesis" is inserted now known as the Church Age. The 70th week only resumes when "he" makes a covanent with the "many" for one last "seven". That "he" is the False Prophet of Revelation 13 because here in Revelation we find that it is the False Prophet of Isreal(a Jew) who erects a statue to honor the "god" of the 10-King kingdom(Revived Rome) in the city of Jerusalem and this only occurs by the middle of that last seven year "week" of Daniel's prophecy. The "god" of Revived Rome is known as the "beast" and he sits as the ruler of "the people who will come" that destroyed the second Temple and that my friends was the great Roman Empire not the tribes of Arabia or the Islamic Caliphate.

Finally, Daniel was told that all of these things were to occur during the 70 weeks of seven years of Israel's punishment. The great perenthesis or Church Age though it is between the 69th and 70th week is not part of this prophetic equation and thus Islam which arose during the great parenthesis (Church Age from 30AD to present) in the 7th century cannot be the people who return at the 70th Week of Daniel's prophecy in the future as this has been reserved for the empire that ruled over Israel and Jerusalem during the preceding 69 week period which would fall squarely on the Roman Empire domiciled in Western Europe. In other words, its the ROMAN EMPIRE that stradles the 69th and 70th week of Daniel's prophecy. Hence, we call the future 4th gentile kingdom of Daniel 2 & 7 the "revived Roman Empire" and not a revived Caliphate since the Caliphate didn't exist until after the 69th week of Daniel and was only evident during the Church Age which Daniel himself could not see because he was not told of its existence (the Church Age) by the Angel.

3) The Beast - 7 hills and 7 kings. Who is the anti-Christ? I believe it's John of Revelation that tells us exactly where the anti-Christ will hail from and what people he rules over in the future. In Revelation 17 John has been shown the future and he sees a harlot riding a "beast". This beast the Angel explains to John will sometime in the future be completely worshipped and idolized by the unrighteous inhabitants of the earth. This "beast" is at once the revived Roman Emporer of the 69th Week of Daniel when Christ was "cut-off" at his First Advent on earth.

The Angel explains something quite significant- he says the people of earth will be astonished by his "ressurection" because "he once was" (in the 69th week of Daniel as the first Roman Caesar), "now is not" (during the great parenthesis or Church Age when John wrote Revelation), "and yet will come" (in the 70th week of Daniel as the last Roman Caesar). Here the Angel is connecting the future "beast" with the Roman Empire as it was when the Roman Empire cut off the Anointed One at the 69th Week of Daniel when Christ was crucified at Golgotha by the Roman Empire. No doubt Satan had used the Roman Caesar as his proxy and justification to have Christ executed for "slandering" Caesar and actually establishing himself as the Lord of Lords over the King of the West which of course during this time was heresy (civil not religous) and treason to the Roman Empire which Israel now belonged as a vassal state.

When the people of the world see the beast again in the future at the 70th week of Daniel they connect these two leaders as one - the Roman Caesar of Western Europe! Thus they are astonished and amazed by the appearance of the "beast" one last time in history when the Angel describes the beast as "once was, now is not, and yet will come". The beast is evident during the 69th Week (once was) disappears during the great parenthesis of the Church Age(now is not) and reappears at the 70th week of Daniel(yet to come).

The Angel further tells John about the future anti-Christ known as the beast - "This calls for a mind with wisdom. The seven heads are seven hills on which the woman sits. They are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come; but when he does come, he must remain for a little while".

I believe we can pinpoint quite accurately the seven kings. First, the harlot is the future ecumenical religion (religious babylon) that sits on seven hills. Clearly the Vatican with the Roman Catholic Church is the mother of all religions today (more ecumenical then Christian orthodox) and the Vatican is seated at Rome and this city has seven very famous hills (Aventine, Caelian, Capitoline, Esquiline, Palatine, Quirinal, Viminal) which makes Rome the site of the seven hills. Furthermore, the Angel tells John that the seven hills are also seven kings. If the seven hills are in Rome (which I'm convinced they are) then the seven kings by logic must be Roman as well. The Angel goes on and says "five kings have fallen, one is and the other has not yet come; but when he does come he must remain for a little while".

Here we can triangulate if you will to get a precise picture of the seven kings. When John was exiled to the Island of Patmos the "king that is" was none other than the Roman Ceaser Domition! By 96 AD Domition had imprisoned John on Patmos and if we count backwards we can trace the "five" kings that had previously fallen.

Before Domition there was the Ceasar Titus (5th King) then before him was Vespasian (4th King) before him was Vitellius (3rd King) and before him was Otho (2nd King) and finally before him was Galba (1st king). What is fascinating is that the first four kings all vied for the position of Emporer in what is now known as the Year of the Four Emporers. That is not without significance I believe because that year was characterized by a succession attempt by these four would-be emporers for the Roman Empire during the exact time period that Israel was being sacked by Rome when she revolted against her in 68 AD. By December 69 AD, Vespasian takes over as Emporer and just 7 short months later Israel would fall to Titus and his legions and the Second Jewish Temple would be destroyed.

Later, Vespasian (4th King) dies and Titus (5th king) takes over as Roman Caesar. Once again, Titus is significant because he was present with the Legions when the Second Jewish Temple was razed by the Romans in 70 AD on the 9th Day of Av according to the Jewish calendar. Later, Domition takes over as Caesar and he is identified by the Angel in Revelation as the "king that is" since it was he who exiled John to the isle of Patmos.

What is also significant about the 5 kings is that all of them are related or connected to events occuring in Israel at that time namely her destruction by the legions of Rome. Vespasian emerges victorious over the succession struggle in the Year of the 4 Emporers and it was he who was initially in Isreal when the revolt over Roman suzerainty erupted between the Jews and the Romans in 68 AD.

Also interesting is that the entire succession struggle occured in the first place because Emporer Nero was declared an "enemy" of the state by the Roman Senate in 68 AD. He later committed suicide to avoid certain torture and death by his executors and it was Nero who had the greatest Apostle of the Church Age, Saul of Tarsus or Paul as we now know him from the Bible executed in 68 AD in Rome! Additionally, Domition himself like Nero, would find himself dead the exact same year he had John exiled to Patmos in 96 AD after ruling for 15 years as Caesar. Invisible hand of God? Vengeance is mine sayeth the Lord? Most certainly.

All of these kings are Roman. And the Angel tells John that the "other has not yet come" meaning the 7th Roman Caesar or King of the 70th Week of Daniel is yet future. The Angel goes further and states the beast "who once was" (in the 69th week) "and now is not" (evident during the great perenthesis or Church Age) "is an eighth king". This last phrase bifurcates the last week of Daniel or the 70th Week as we know it because the Emporer of Rome emerges at the begining of the 70th week (Tribulation) thus astonishing the world and by the middle of the 70th week (Great Tribluation) the Emporer of Rome becomes the anti-Christ when he is fully possessed by Satan. Hence, the "8th King" is part of the seventh at the beginning of the 70th week of Daniel (human - Emporer of Europe) and by the time we reach the middle of the last 70th week of Daniel (3 1/2 years) becomes the anti-Christ (Satan possessed human - Emporer of the World). You will note in Revelation that the anti-Christ is captured alive by the victorious armies of Christ at the Second Advent and thrown bodily into the Lake of Fire - hence the 8th king "goeth to his destruction" once and for all.

Once again, the Moslems are not part of this equation and cannot be. The world will not be astonished and hopeful over a revived Caliphate but they most certainly will over a Revived Roman Empire. Once again, history comes full circle. Caesar in fact will be destroyed by Jesus Christ and Israel restored to sovereignty.

All Hail the Lord of Lords and King of Kings! All Hail Christ our Lord!

The Wild, Wild East

Afghanistan is apparently on the front burner of leftwing politics judging by the networks and newspaper coverage of this rather unknown and benign "war" in the eastern most part of the Middle East. As you very well know, Afghanistan was the first country we attacked after that vicious and unprovoked attack on New York City and Pentagon by Islamic Terrorists in the service of their Al Qaida masters on September 11th, 2001. As you also already know, terrorism operates chiefly unmolested by Islamic states in the Middle East and in most cases is clandestinely funded by Islamic states for the furtherance of their own national objectives such as Pakistan in Afghanistan and Syria & Iran in Iraq.

Terrorists are the pawns of nations in this part of the world with Islam being the fuel that burns the fires of terrorism. Both terrorist and Middle Eastern nation are using each other to achieve their objective(s) and as try as we might the West is unable to break this "cycle of violence" that is the hallmark of the Middle East. The Middle East really is at a breaking point in terms of Islamic culture and really we could say that the entire world is at a breaking point due to the advance of the West in terms of its economic, political, cultural and military clout that it imposes both passively and aggressively upon the nations of the world. The Middle East is feeling the vice being squeezed upon them and there simply is no way out other than through the tried and true method of political violence.

Oil has made the Middle East wealthy beyond its dreams but it also is a curse. Collectively, the Middle East has a GDP equivalent to that of Spain and we know how pathetic Spain is to the world today. The Middle East is the proverbial sick man of the world. Oil has made it possible for the Middle East to exercise some room for movement on the geopolitical plane however time is running out for them. The Middle East nations understand that the world is being sown together in a patchwork of nationalist entities to form a unified global government with the West as the cockpit of this international entity. The terrorist and the Middle East nations see the ever encroaching power of the West hence their predisposition to terrorism to effect an outcome that either will preserve them in the Middle East or allow them to separate altogether (they will still sell oil to us) from this new global hegemony. The income from oil keeps the nations of the Middle East in power and the fanaticism of religion fuels the Islamic terrorist that keeps him going in the face of an obstinate Middle Eastern dictator that runs these nations. Oil and religious fanaticism is a deadly concoction that prevents a stable Middle East from overcoming their "cycle of violence" amongst each other and of course with their neighbors.

Now, Afghanistan is before us. What shall we do and why? The networks and newspapers keep on calling our occupation of this nation as well as Iraq a "war". Just because our military is being utilized to occupy a piece of territory doesn't necessarily mean we are "at war". Yes, we do sustain casualties here and there with Islamic rebels occasionally planting an IED in the pathway of our patrols. Yes, we do get into "gunfights" with them but this is in no way similar to a "war" in which millions of rounds of ammo, millions of gallons of fuel, tons of supplies being shipped to the front and military objectives demanding sweeping movements to capture targets, towns, cities and capitols of the enemy as it was in most wars the United States has been involved in. Actually, the invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq were both characterized by the aforementioned requirements of "war" but since then (2001 for Afghanistan and 2003 for Iraq) our military basically has been displacing the enemy by occupation of captured ground rather than continuing with the tempo and pace of actual combat. The casualties we have sustained in occupation are truly minuscule compared to the actual combat in the opening days of Afghanistan and Iraq that statistically makes the death of our Soldiers and Marines relatively "acceptable". Really, we should compare the occupation of the Middle East to the American-Indian Wars after the Civil War when we put down the Indian nations in the Western most part of the United States. Occasionally, we suffered death and injury on the battlefield (not to mention Custer's Last Stand) but overall this period of American military operations was more "occupation and pacification" than classical war. Very few soldiers actually participated in this military operation much like today versus the total number soldiers that participated in the earlier Civil War (A million Yankee men were under arms when General Grant took over for the North as Supreme Commander in 1864).

I know that may sound nuanced and insensitive but its critically important to understand where we are today in the ex post facto War On Terror. We have already won the war in Afghanistan and Iraq but we have not yet pacified this part of the world. Pacification can only successfully occur if we as the United States are willing to go on the offensive in Pakistan, Syria and Iran in which these Islamic rebels are operating from with the in explicit blessing of their host nations. This is the truth that cannot be denied. These Islamic rebels operate from bases within these nations and attack our allies in Baghdad and Kabul at will. All the troops in the world cannot change this fact. No amount of defensive posturing no matter how clever we are can change this strategic advantage that now lies with the rebels.

Ironically, the Russians seemed to understand this dynamic after their invasion of Afghanistan in 1978 when after 10 years of occupation they decided to pull out when they could not and would not muster the military and political muscle to invade Pakistan from whence the Mujaheddin so successfully operated, rested and regrouped after any military engagement with the Russians. The Russians never lost a battle with the Islamic rebels during this time however, the strategic advantage was with the rebels and not with the Russians and by 1988 they fully understood this and left Afghanistan to its communist fate - The emergence and consolidation of the Pakistan inspired Taliban.

Will this be America's fate in Afghanistan and Iraq as well? Sadly, it appears to be so. Hence all this discussion of late about the lack of support for the "war" in Afghanistan and Iraq. The American people refused to support the War On Terror when in 2006 the pacifist Democrats swept to power in the American mid-term elections thus handing then President George W. Bush the option of holding what was achieved or pulling out in an orderly fashion. The white anger of 9/11 now has appeared to cool off and it is only a matter of time before we, like the Russians before us in 1988, decide to pull up roots and remove ourselves from the wild wild East.

Our retreat from these lands will only serve to add fuel to the fire of both Islamic terrorist and Islamic terror supporting nation in the Middle East. To what ends will this move the Middle East towards tuning out of the West and extricating itself from the global governance that is fast approaching is anyone's guess. However, I suspect that our retreat will be the catalyst of a recalcitrant anti-Western (not to mention anti-Israel) collective that will range from Mauritania across the North African Arabic plane to Iraq and the Mesopatamian region with Egypt as the base of this new religious totalitarian order. Egypt will be the political base and Saudi Arabia the religious base. If the Moslem Brotherhood has been as influential as everyone says they have been then indeed I believe this will probably be the outcome in the not too distant future.

Well, I for one am glad Americans are standing up for their rights regarding socialized medicine, er, uh, I meant Universal Government Healthinsurance. Mind you, we already have universal health coverage in the form of obtaining insurance through such websites as Ehealthinsurance.com or any other health insurance company located in any one of the 50 United States that you may reside in. We also have the fact that way back in 1968 the federal government mandated that all hospitals provide healthcare regardless of one's financial status. Today, everyone is accessing the ER room for all kinds of things without due deference to their own ability to pay for their visits especially illegal aliens. I don't necessarily blame "them" because if we are going to pay for their emergency visits then certainly If I were from some third world hell-hole I would want access to the best damned healthcare in the world as well.

Let's face it Obamacare is "Solient Green". There is simply no getting around the fact that the Left loves death. They are the ones pushing for abortion at every turn. They are the ones pushing for euthanasia. They are the ones embracing the end of life concept of "death with dignity" for the elderly and infirm. They supported the death by judicial fiat of Terri Shiavo, a precursor of things to come. They support and endorse "population control" and all the implications that go along with that worldview. Naturally, they don't want to be the first "to go" but insist nevertheless that the death of mankind is completely vital and necessary for "sustainable" development and evolution. And now, "they" control your government. The Left may not want to control the border and may not want to control crime but "they" certainly want to control your health!

Oh the web we weave. Is this why the Left wants to ban the Second Amendment? Should the American people lose everything then will they not take up arms? The possibility always exists and presents a clear and present danger for the Left whenever they revolutionize and conform the American way of life to more of a European modus vivendi. The Left only "loves" what America could be. They despise what America was and certainly hate what America is. Certainly the Left must know that America is an armed camp and should their plans fail and expose them as the hypocrites and dictators for what they are then certainly a new wave of patriotism could sweep them from power. Only time will tell. In the meantime let us dry our powder and clean our rifles as we "cling to our religion" and concentrate on the Word Of God:

Assumptions And Consequences

A lot of hash has been made lately regarding certain expectations in the economy, politics, world events etc. that I feel compelled to expose some of these fallacies of public opinion. Many people have a rather shall I say ignorant and perhaps even an arrogant certitude that certain things will repeat themselves "in a positive way" as if politics or human interactions have a "four-seasons" cycle to them. Though I tend to agree that history often repeats itself it never follows the same course as its predecessor. In other words, there will always be slight variations in the current moment so that we don't "repeat" history exactly one hundred percent of the time but return to it at a later date and then go forward on a slightly different trajectory not riding on the same historical line but slightly off course, if you will. So with out further ado lets go over the list of assumptions that so many are convinced will occur on schedule:

1) Economic Assumption: "the economy will bounce back in a year or two". People are so convinced that the economy runs without due deference to which political party controls Congress however history has indeed shown that in fact it does matter which political party is at the helm and what policies are being followed that determines when the economy comes humming back to life from a period of a moribund economic cycle. Simply put, the economy is a responder to what is demanded by those in political power. Politics drives the economy not the other way around. If policies are being pursued that hurts big, medium and small business with excessive taxation, fees, duties and harmful legislation like "cap and trade" then businesses of all sizes will simply spend more time holding on to what they do have instead of research and development and expansion which is so critical to the economy.

FDR is a prime example of politics leading the way towards attacking businesses rather then helping them become stronger. The crash of 1929 did not happen on FDR's watch however the Democrat President was inculcated with anti-commercial tendencies that his policies completely choked off any incentive for business to expand during the 1930's. In fact, his policies brought back the depressionary levels of unemployment, low stock market numbers, and heavy taxation in 1937-38 that the depression appeared to have no end in sight. FDR's "solutions" always involved excessive federal government spending and high taxation and it wasn't till the advent of the Second World War that halted these lousy policies from Washington D.C. (FDR had no choice- either attack American businesses or attack America's enemies) that we see a turn in the economy. However, the war itself did not stop the flatlining of the economy for even after the war was won we see the return to high unemployment and very little economic activity that was the hallmark of the FDR era. Only with the advent of the Republican President Eisenhower and Republican congress in 1952 do we see a reversal of these anti-commercial policies and the concomitant rise in the economy. The depression was a 24-year curse (1929 - 1953) of low economic activity, high taxation, and excessive government spending and expansion at the expense of the private sector due to Democrat inspired legislation in Congress and in the Presidency itself that the bad times kept on going and going and going until it hit a brick wall that was the Republican administration of Eisenhower after the Korean War. Let's see, depression, World War II and the Korean War was the era of Roosevelt/Truman and this is the era we want to return to under Obama?

The advent of Ronald Reagan also had the same effect when the economy was suffering under the Carter era policies that returned to FDR inspired programs of high taxation and government expansion that resulted in high interest rates that stifled nearly every business model from manufacturing and financials to small business and start-ups . Bad foreign policy decisions also contributed to the bad economic picture when the United States cut off funding to our South Vietnam ally in 1974 (by a democrat led congress) resulting in her capitulation to the communists of North Vietnam by 1975. This in turn brought about a tidal wave of unrest (coincidentally only against our allies) from Iran to Nicaragua and Afghanistan in particular to Africa in general. On top of all this was the Arab-Oil Embargo of 1973 that the United States was still suffering from when Carter came to power in January of 1977. I have a feeling on this last point that Jimmy Carter would not find fault with the Arabs and thus blame the United States for this embargo since we decided to belatedly support on only true ally in the Middle East, Israel, during the Yom Kippur War started by Egypt herself.

Could the Carter Era have been another 24-year recessionary/depressionary curse as it had been under FDR/Truman? Most certainly it would have been had it not been for the business friendly Republican in the man that we know as Ronald Reagan that ended the Carter/Mondale era in 1980. Nevertheless, Reagan still had a bad economy on his hands and though Carters' critics did blame him for what Reagan inherited from the Carter malaise, the policies that Reagan put into place under the tutelage of a business friendly congress helped turn around a very ugly economic situation and instead of a 24-year economic curse we actually created a 25-year mother lode of economic expansion and growth not seen since the golden years of industrial expansion of the early 20th century.

Today, the Obama Administration blames GW Bush for what "they inherited" however, let it be known that Senator Obama voted for nearly all the policies while in Congress during his tenure there that have contributed to the situation we are in today! Obama objected to President Bush's "deficit" spending and yet after only being in the Oval Office a few months Obama has outdone the previous President's spending by four-fold!

There are no guarantee's that the economy will come back to the heady days of Reagan/Bush. Just because the economy rebounded after Reagan came to power does not mean that it will do so under Obama. The attitude and tenor of both Obama and his Democrat controlled House of Representatives and Senate will ensure that an "anti-commercial" environment will reign supreme so long as Democrats retain power in Washington D.C. and thus we are more likely to see a repeat of history along the lines of a 24-year depression of an FDR Era rather than a 25-year bonanza of a Ronald Reagan Era.

2) Political Assumption: "Republicans will take control of Congress in 2010". Once again, I know there are a lot of pundits that believe the "pendulum" theory of American politics, however, though political power may switch hands in Washington, what we see in fact that policies don't waver as much and in many ways remain the same in spite of the pendulum swings in domestic politics. More often than not it really doesn't make much difference politically if both parties are espousing the same thing domestically as was the case during the 30's and in the 60's and consequently even now in the late 2000's.

Once again, even though the past has shown that Republicans can retake the house two years after a major Democrat takeover, I don't see this possibility repeating itself anytime soon. The trend line shows that once Democrats take over they usually retain their power for 10 years or more with 1994 being an off year for Democrat "success" at the ballot box. The Republicans must stake out a difference between themselves and their democrat opponents, however, today Republicans are not sounding that much different in terms of social spending and taxation. Thus, strategically, Republicans are still showing anti-business tendencies themselves and are contributing to a fractured message that only serves to confuse voters and allow the Democrats to retain their power.

Republican leadership is also lacking and I cannot see any person that can actually use the full force of his intellect and oratory to turn the government socialist ideal that is now so pervasive in Republican ranks as well as in the country among the voters. Is this the revenge of the "Rockefeller republican" for the rise and advent of Ronald Reagan that occurred in 1976? Perhaps. Revenge and envy are a path to the dark side and I'm afraid the Republican Party is still suffering from internecine fighting that has not spent itself in spite of the fall of prominent moderate Republicans such as Specter (switched to democrat), Ensign (fornicator) and Sanford (adulterer) and the complete gutting of the party from old timers that have decided to not run for re-election. It doesn't look good for a Republican return to power in 2010 nor in 2012 I'm afraid.

3) Foreign Policy Assumption: "Obama will bring change to the world!". Is there anything Obama has done that G.W. Bush hasn't already done in the arena of foreign policy? I mean really, we have already "talked" to Iran and North Korea to death and nothing has come of it except their continued malfeseance towards the United States and that was before Obama and company came onto the scene last January. The so called elections in Iran brought about a near total revolt but certainly no "revolution" but this should have not been countenanced since only an outside force, like the United States military, could actually bring "change" in both spirit and letter to the Persian people.

Obama's arrogance only barely outstrips his naivety towards our allies as well as our enemies. Just because he thinks he is the "anti-Bush" doesn't automatically make him friends with Russia, Europe, Al-Arabia, China, Japan and even Africa. These regimes understand only one thing: power! Military power, political power and economic power. This is what GW was able to deliver in his tenure as President. GW didn't speak well but then again when you have the most powerful military excercising their assigned duties in Iraq and Afghanistan then your GPS guided munitions and blood thirsty Marines will do just fine, thank you. Obama on the other has eschewed the military option other than a few missles lobbed here and there under the watchful eyes of our predator drones. If Obama had been President after 9/11 then I could most surely guarantee you that Saddam Hussein Al Tikriti would still be in power today. Not to mention I'm quite certain we would not be in Afghanistan today and the Taliban would still be in power in Kabul.

Barack Hussein Obama is a complete woose and nothing more. Only our enemies will be glad that someone like Obama is in power because he is a complete buffoon and will surrender American hedgemony to the third world like some Manchurian Candidate who secretly abhors the power and prestige that is the United States of America.

The world has not changed however the American administration certainly has changed hands to a more docile, incompetent, naive and just plain stupid man being supported by a pacficist party hell bent on bringing America down to third world parity so as not to "offend" anyone. The last time we were there was under a moron named Jimmy Carter.

4) Foreign Policy Assumption: "Iraq was the biggest foreign policy mistake in the history of America!". There is no more naive assumption in foreign policy than this one. In light of that deceitful attack on the United States on 9/11/01, the time it took to get our forces in place for the invasion of Iraq was over 2 years in the making! So there was plenty of time to think of the ramifications of this invasion and no it was not a cowboy "kneejerk" GW Bush reaction to 9/11. The first Gulf War was a direct result of Saddam Hussein's Iraqi invasion of Kuwait and the resultant destruction and complete route of the Iraqi military before the massive AMERICAN force made the United States the prime target of any retaliation by Iraq. When we consider as well that Saddam tried to have President G. H. Bush assassinated while he visited Kuwait in 1992, as well as the first attack on the World Trade Center (remember those buildings?) in 1993, as well as the destruction of the F Murray Building in Oklahoma City in 1995 on the very day that Iraq's Baath Party celebrates their ascension to the throne under Saddam and the fact that we know very well that these types of attacks are the modus operandi of all Arab/Islamic regimes in the Middle East alone points the arrow to the only perpetrator WILLING to align himself with Islamic terror groups (who would have no problem killing the likes of a Saddam if they could) to strike at the United States and recoup any loss of prestige suffered in 1991 in Kuwait, makes the Iraqi Invasion after 9/11 the most logical outcome for America's response to this terror hit in the heart of New York City and Pentagon on the morning of September 11th, 2001.

Iraqi forces were constantly firing their SAM anti-aircraft missiles at AMERICAN aircraft flying over the "No Fly Zone" over Iraq established after the First Gulf War. This cat and mouse game played by Baghdad was unacceptable after 9/11 and any attempt to fire on an ENRAGED AND ANGRY America thus brought the whole might and power of the greatest military force in the world as well as history upon your head! Now that was the greatest and dumbest mistake in foreign policy ever assumed by a sitting head of state: Saddam Hussein the moron. Consider as well, that whatever the reasons were for the invasion (and there were many not just the 'WMD' location) these pale in comparison to the fact that we, the United States of America, had to establish a PRECEDENT that you don't attack us in the wee hours on a morning of a cloudless sky and GET AWAY WITH IT!!! Facts are facts and Saddam clearly had a history of nuclear/chemical/biological weapons programs and was WILLING to use them not only against his own people (Kurds) but certainly against his neighbors (Iran). Of course, in the Gulf War Saddam Hussien of Iraq fired SCUD missiles at Saudi Arabia and Israel (hmmm, the arch enemies of Al Qaida as well) then certainly we see a mad tyrant that should have and did suffer the demise of all tyrants who dare raise their hand against America: death and destruction to yourself, your regime and your country.

The regime fell within a matter of weeks after our glorious armed forces invaded and yes it was indeed MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. The War On Terror SHOULD HAVE continued into the hell holes called Iran and Syria and because we didn't do this is the reason why the OCCUPATION of Iraq became mired in a pathetic attempt by Moslems of every stripe and country within AL ARABIA to terrorize America into leaving Iraq. In spite of the losses we suffered (greater than the invasion itself) we came out on top (as expected by me) and gloriously succeeded without necessarily having to rely on the so called "surge" that followed in 2006 to effect an outcome that was already there but not yet came to fruition that year: namely the standing up of the reconstituted army of Iraq.

The Left in America and Europe despises Iraq for all the SUCCESSES that have come to light due to President Bush and the AMERICAN military that began in March 2003: the fall of the Saddam Hussien Regime; death of his heirs ensuring the regime doesn't rise again; the capture, conviction and execution of the Ace of Spades himself, Saddam Hussien Al Tikriti; the elections that followed in which all of Iraq could participate in the future of their own country; the DEFEAT of Al Qaida in Iraq; and the successful implementation of the "surge"; Lybia's Mohmmar Guadaffi surrendering his nuclear program and the Syrian army retreat from Lebanon all point to great successes that only Democrats could possibly dream of had it occurred under their watch. But most of all, the fact the United States of America triumphed over her enemies in such a magnificent way has shamed the Left in America and Europe into a bitter reactionary and deliberate worldview in which they despise America and its commercial, Christian, and constitutional way of life have become anathema to their very political core.

This assumption by the Left specifically will be their undoing in the coming years as their response to Iraq will be DRAMATICALLY different to the point that all of the gains made by the USA since 2003 will be pissed away by a vengeful and ungrateful leftwing that will be happier seeing America lose in Iraq than give any credit to a domestic political foe (GW Bush) and capitalizing on our past success. The question will be then: Which Democrat will "lose" Iraq like we lost China, Iran, Southeast Asia, and Cuba?

The Great Debate

Which is it, America? Are we going to be a superpower in foreign policy or are we going to be a superpower in domestic policy? You can't have it both ways because we can't afford to pay trillions of dollars in power projection, foreign aid and wars in far away places and continue to increase the domestic programs for nationalized healthcare, social security and industry bailouts that is now running into the multiple trillions. Is it GW's fault? He is but one among a long line of Presidents, statesmen, Senators and Representatives that have embraced the government-industrial complex that we have come to enjoy in the form of medicare, social security, CAFE standards, EPA, OSHA and a plethora of other federal agencies and policies too numerous to mention here that affect and effect our daily lives. Barack Hussein Obama is but the latest incantation of the government-industrial complex to grace our presence and he may in fact be the apex of this "change" in direction from a foreign policy superpower to a domestic policy superpower.

History has shown what becomes of a nation when this "change" sets in and grabs hold of the populace. Behold the once great nation that was Great Britain. She too was a global superpower who alone stood at the top of the mountain with her overseas commitments to her colonies from South Africa to India to Hong Kong and from Australia to Canada to her Caribbean island jewels. She was the "policeman" of the world keeping would be dictators at bay from Europe to Africa to Asia. But then two world wars and hundreds of billions of dollars later finally made Britain turn inward and reject the role she had played in foreign policy for nearly 300 years. Instead of spending money on soldiers and ships she spent money on the National Health Service and more domestic government spending than she had previously embraced in all of her time as a foreign policy "superpower". Now, after only 60 years or so she too is now bankrupt and can barely afford the services she provides to her people without having to raise more taxes at the expense of her national wealth or what's left of it. Now, her only option in "paying" for these domestic programs is to allow foreigners to work and stay in Great Britain who have no intention of embracing her culture, language and laws. She is now more like Babylon the Great instead of Great Britain.

Is this America's future as well? Have we spent ourselves into oblivion only to have to sacrifice the world role we play as policeman in order to have the domestic goodies that Europe "enjoys"? Is Obama's "change" simply more of the same spending policies of his predecessor but more spending and more borrowing than before? At what price do we pay for this "domestic" course correction in foreign affairs? Obama and the democrats did agree to INCREASE defense spending by 4% from last year however there is much agitation in the media regarding which military programs are going to be axed, scaled down or continued in the wake of the War On Terror...excuse me, the War On Extremism. Apparently, the word "sacrifice" does not apply to the government-industrial complex and as such it continues to grow ever more powerful every day. However, the law of diminishing returns will burst forth at the expense of the fantasies of socialists in Washington in regards to how to pay for their Utopian ideals. If they increase taxation then the economy will shrink thus tax revenue will fall short and borrowing will have to take up the slack. If they cut spending (which they will never do) then all the jobs and businesses that are connected to government (government-industrial complex) such as medical, military, education, social security etc, will suffer thus causing an economic contraction that will precipitate lower tax revenue thus borrowing will have to take up the slack. However, behind both propositions, we can no longer borrow! We have so borrowed ourselves into oblivion that there will come a time where the interest itself let alone the principal will become too great to bare financially and something will have to give.

That something is foreign policy, I predict. If Americans and her politicians have to make a choice and push comes to shove I can almost guarantee that the United States of America will decrease her presence overseas and with her foreign entanglements ie NATO, SEATO, and defense postures with Iraq, Afghanistan, Poland, Central and South America and perhaps even go so far as absolving our responsibility as the policeman of the world becoming more of a Sweden than a Great Britain as we are today. Some will see this as good thing as they believe the United States is singularly too powerful as it is and should be made weaker and more subservient to international organizations and her madcap demands. However, the result of foreign policy contraction will be the rise of dictatorships around the world that will ultimately defy the West as well as the loss of our Allies to enemy insurrection such as was experienced during the whole of the 1970's when America retreated, looked the other way and just plain gave up before the evil and ungodly forces of Communist China, Vietnam and Russia. The domestic narcissim of the 1960's gave way to the foreign policy debacle of the 1970's. Thank you liberals! It may not be communist nations today that rise up in our absence but certainly they will in the language of Barack Obama be "extreme" if I may be so bold in the form of a nativist Russia or an Islamic Caliphate.

Revelation Redux Again

The Church Age is coming to a close. It has existed for nearly 2000 years and its purpose was and is to lay the foundation for a royal family for his majesty, the Lord Jesus Christ as well as provide for him an army to accomplish his will on earth. This "model" army if you will grows by a simple non-meritorious act of faith in Christ and advances spiritually by inculcation of Bible Doctrine which is the mind of Christ. This army is quantitatively and qualitatively the most advanced army ever to be fielded by man, in this case, the God-Man, Jesus Christ. The exact terminus of this age is unknown due to its dependence on the free-will of men whether they are for or against Christ on a vast global scale. At some point in the future the Church, the body of Christ, will be removed in a twinkling of an eye as it is said and an old dispensation will resume that was put on hold since the first advent of Christ: the Age of Israel.

This age only has 7 years left before it too is retired however the last seven years of this age is the worst of times that mankind has ever experienced and is known as simply the "Tribulation". The Tribulation itself is bifurcated with each half lasting 3 1/2 years and the last half designated as the "Great Tribulation". The first half of Tribulation is characterized by the absence of the true Church as well as the fact that it starts off with a world without the saints. However, as the world recovers by the instant removal of millions of people in the Rapture, a slow realization by unbelievers that indeed this was the Rapture event will bring these people to the Lord and they will become the new righteous in God. Every dispensation has a body of believers known as the saints and this last seven years will be no different.

The first half of Tribulation starts off rather benign in that all of the action takes place regionally in Western Europe. In Europe we will see the consolidation of 10 nations into a confederacy and the establishment of an ecumenical religion based in Rome to give this 10 nation confederacy the legitimacy that it needs to become embraced by the peoples of Europe. The creation of a weak federal head in the form of the Emperor will be the capstone of the confederacy but ultimately this will be undoing of this rather short lived organization.

The Hour The Earth Stood Still

As the first half of Tribulation comes to a close the Emperor will sense that it will be time to make his greatest push to become absolute ruler of Europe. He will slowly agitate against the religious authorities in Rome perhaps setting them up as a threat to his plans of expansion not only as the leader of Europe but leader of the entire world. He summons the 10 European kings together in a counsel of war to decide the fate of Rome. He convinces them of the need to eliminate his rival and to take what is rightfully theirs. For 1 hour the Kings of the 10 nation confederacy give the Emperor their power and authority to execute his will as he pleases. Once they relinquish their power the Emperor never gives it back to them. He uses the complete and total executive power handed to him to eliminate his rivals one by one. First, the False Church. Second, three kings of the 10 Nation Confederation. Third, the Confederacy itself. All this is done before the middle of the Tribulation. Once he establishes his rulership in Europe then the Emperor can be offered the "kingdoms of this world" by his Satanic majesty after he is defeated in the heavens and when the Emperor in the West accepts the position as the vessel of Satan and allows his diabolical majesty to possess his body and mind then Satan can fully consolidate his command of fallen humans, fallen angels and the fallen inhuman forces that he will wield in the next three and a half years against Jesus Christ. The Emperor becomes the Anti-Christ.

In that 1 hour (not a literal hour but more like the hands of the Atomic Clock inching ever so closer to midnight of a nuclear holocaust so this hour represents but a short space of time during the first half of tribulation) the Emperor moves against the Harlot in Rome (Religious Babylon) and destroys her with fire to pave the way for the eventual Caesar worship of himself towards the end of the first half of tribulation. The destruction of this one world religion headquartered in Rome is the defining moment of the Tribulation because once the False Church is eliminated then the Man of Sin may now be worshipped as the "god" that he believes he is and in turn initiates a chain reaction of events that culminates with the Second Advent of Jesus Christ. John records in Revelation the lamentations of the kings and merchants of the world at the loss of Religious Babylon located in Rome. Kings because they lose their political power established through religion and merchants because they lose their wealth from the money that is made through this one world religion.

Three nations of the 10 Nation Confederacy rebel against this seminal event which I believe to be Italy, Spain and Portugal since these nations of Europe have benefited the most from her rule since the Church Age. Their defeat by this arrogant King paves the way for the Emperor of of the 10 Nation Confederacy to become the Emperor of Europe! However, just as Lord Acton so famously said "a little power corrupts a little but absolute power corrupts absolutely", his fantastic victory over these kings isn't enough to satiate his lust for power and indeed he seeks more than just mere regional dominance but instead he seeks global rulership as the FEDERAL head of mankind! Satan thus is the creature than can fulfill his wishes. With Satan's power eliminated in the heavens in the middle of the tribulation Satan gains what little time he has left by possessing the one man who can influence the world like no other. The Emperor also gains additional power and prestige because through Satanic possession he can consolidate his rule not simply throughout Europe but the entire world. For both of them its a "win-win" situation as far as they are concerned. And not only this but Satan guarantees the Emperor a great ally who will roll out the red carpet if you will to the Emperors rulership in the man known in the Bible as the False Prophet who is the future dictator of Israel and ally of the European Emperor.

In summary, the war in Europe precedes the Last World War that it spawns as the Fourth Kingdom becomes a reality. The Fourth Kingdom as revealed by God to Daniel displaces the 10 Nation Confederacy and the Emperor arrogantly assumes not only the mantle of the Emperor of Europe but assumes the title of Emporer of the World. Once the War In Heaven is executed (Operation Archangel) and completed by the middle of tribulation Satan and his fallen Angels fall back to their last bastion on earth and from there wage their war against Christ on the fields and plains of this world. When Satan possesses the Emperor then as the Anti-Christ the defense pact is broken between Europe and Israel that once ensured Israel's safety in an inhospitable land and unwittingly exposes Israel to the King of the South who now takes advantage of the now defunct relations between Israel and Europa. I suspect however that this defense pact that is broken is not done so in anger to Israel. Since the 10 Nation Confederacy of Europe will essentially cease to exist and the Fourth Kingdom established in its place then a new charter must be drawn up by the administration of the Anti-Christ for the defense of Israel and this would have to occur for any bilateral agreement established between all governments around the world not just with Israel per se. Also, since the False Prophet after all is his ally and erects statues in his honor right in the Temple of God in Jerusalem then we must assume the Anti-Christ would have if given enough time establish another defense treaty with Israel with the False Prophet supinely agreeing to whatever terms that would have applied. However the King of the South circumvents this diplomatic formality when Al-Arabia directly attacks Israel during her weakest and most feeble moment. Without an operational defense pact in place Israel is left in limbo and thus exposed to her enemies. The King of the South thus takes advantage of this diplomatic disruption and attacks Israel head on in one last attempt to push the Jew into the sea.
Russia however, has other plans. With all the eyes of the world on the war between Israel and Al-Arabia it is at this time that Russia with her allies including Persia springs their trap and invades Al-Arabia to both eliminate the King of the South and hold the West and East hostage by occupying the most prized lands in the world for its petroleum reserves. Russia and her allies realize that it is at this moment that they too must seize the initiative if they are to remain sovereign from this beast that now calls himself emperor of the world. By eliminating the King of the South and occupying the land that greases and fuels the economies of both the West and the East then perhaps Moscow and her allies can negotiate their political, economic and religious independence from a position of strength, or so they think. If past history is any indication of the future conduct of this mighty people of the North then we should not be surprised that the Old Testament prophets foresaw these events transpire exactly as they should. Russia has always made its greatest gains in the world by secret pacts and surprise invasions from the seventeenth century to World War I and World War II including from the Cold War to the present. This future event by Magog, as the King of the North is known in the book of Ezekiel, then will not differ from her historical tradition of surprise and attack on a geopolitical plane.

The Fourth Kingdom: One World Government

Tribulation begins with the 10 nation confederation in the West but then is dismembered by the advent of the Anti-Christ and one world government is born by the time we get to the middle of tribulation. The entire world will worship the King of the West as Emperor of the World. The Emperor of the 10 nation confederacy is weak at first hence he comes to power "peaceably". The Emperor is the "wounded head" of the 7 headed beast as described in Revelation. Once the 10 Nation confederacy is created this political entity becomes "Rome Revived" and with it a revived head of the 10 nation confederacy, the Emperor of Rome.

The Fourth Kingdom was the kingdom that Daniel saw at the end of days and it is synonymous with One World Government. Three other kingdoms have already preceded it and have been Israel's master and the most powerful on earth at their time. The First Kingdom was ruled by the Caldeans who first enslaved Israel. The Second Kingdom was the Medo-Persians who under their rule allowed Israel to rebuild their Temple in Jerusalem. The Third Kingdom was the Greek Empire of Alexander the Great. The last kingdom that Israel was a slave to was the Roman Empire and this fourth Kingdom of the future is an extension of Roman power and glory however in a much weaker form that it was nearly 2000 years ago. Even though it may be a One World Government there are still other nations that will not allow themselves to be swallowed up by this "beast". Although the Kings of the East do bow their knee to the Emperor however, the King of the South and of the North will wage war against the West to stave off this all encompassing and heretical governmental system.

Once one world government is established at the middle of Tribulation then Magog (Russia) and the King of the South (Al-Arabia) make their moves against the West by attacking the only western ally in the Middle East, Israel. Thus the Tribulation is bifurcated with general peace (until the outbreak of war in Europe that destroys the 10 Nation confederacy and the religious power in Rome) in the latter half of the first 3 1/2 years of this 7 year period with the 10 Nation Confederacy residing with a weak executive and the second 3 1/2 years giving way to worldwide war under the Fourth Kingdom of one world government and a superhuman endowed executive in the latter half of Tribulation. This latter half is considered the "Great" Tribulation because of the advent of Satan on earth which acts as a force multiplier in terms of human ability to wage war against Christ. Once again war in Europe gives way to war throughout the world!

We should also consider one last point: the amazing parallel between Daniels vision of the "fourth kingdom" and establishment in the West of the Fourth Reich. Rome fell to the German barbarians and Western Roman Europe would become peopled by Germanic stock. These people have established since 476 A.D. three different Germanic kingdoms or "Reichs" in their own native tongue since the fall of the last "Roman Caesar" in Western Europe. The first Reich was the Holy Roman Empire which lasted from roughly 916 A.D. to 1806 A.D. when it fell to Napoleon's armies. The Second Reich operated from the unification of Germany from 1870 to 1919 and would cease to exist when Germany accepted the terms of surrender at Versailles. The Third Reich operated from 1933 to 1945 during the reign of the Nazi's and ended in total capitulation to the Allies at the end of World War II. Could it be that the Fourth Kingdom of Daniel is perhaps the future "Fourth Reich" that will arise in the West? Only speculation but certainly worth entertaining considering the political and economic conditions that so befuddles the West today.

So to recap - the 10 Nation Confederacy is broken up by the Emperor when he defeats three kings to establish his hegemony. The Confederacy gives way to the Fourth Kingdom and this Kingdom is One World Government as its power is global in scale. It will last not for a thousand years as anticipated and proclaimed in much the same way by Hitler's vaunted Third Reich but similarly and strikingly lasts much shorter - a mere three and a half years. Though men today wish to establish this kingdom even now however it will take the sinister power of Satan possessing the Emperor himself to make it a reality. Once it becomes a reality then we see the world worshipping the Emperor and enforcing his will throughout the entire globe with the exception of two key international players: Al-Arabia and Mother Russia.

Both Russia and Arabia cannot accept servitude to the Fourth Kingdom. They rebel by attacking and invading key positions in the Middle East. For Arabia, they refuse to join the Fourth Kingdom and attack Israel to finally "cleanse" the lands of Islam of the horrid Jew because militarily they are weak and in a position of weakness that they find themselves in this is their only option other than accepting servitude to the Anti-Christ ensconced in the West. Islam is by its very nature anti-Western culturally, economically, and of course religiously. Al-Arabia cannot bow to Rome as this would mean giving up on maintaining their Sunni Caliphate which no doubt will rise once more before the Fourth Kingdom comes to power. Nor can they accept a western outpost in "their" lands that is also ruled by the False Prophet of Israel which no doubt insults the sensibilities of the Mohammedans. Al-Arabia thus attempts another invasion of Israel to eliminate this eternal irritant from its midst. With the pact between Europa and Israel broken the King of the South of Al-Arabia is given a free hand to eliminate their Jewish nemesis once and for all or so they think.

Russia for different reasons also cannot abide by the Fourth Kingdom but will not attack the West so overtly. The power of the West cannot be so openly defied. Russia has always wanted the things of the West but never has it bowed its knee to Western traditions. Their culture and religion as well as their history prevent them from accepting a servile position to the West just as Byzantium could never accept the Western Pope of Rome as their Archbishop and Shepherd of the Eastern Orthodox Church so many centuries ago. This same Church now resides in Moscow. Thus, by deceit and surprise while the world is looking at Israel and Arabia, Russia makes her move into the Middle East. Their only option in checkmating the West is by holding hostage the massive reserves of petroleum that fuels the Fourth Kingdom. By holding nearly all of the commodities of importance in the industrial world Moscow thinks it can prevent the Fourth Kingdom from coalescing into something more powerful than they can resist. This is all or nothing for Russia. Surprisingly, they are successful at first but then again they are fighting Moslems and we all know what a paper tiger they have become. By seizing the Levant and occupying Egypt they eliminate the King of the South (Arabia) and would continue on into Africa if necessary per the Book of Ezekiel. However, Operation Wormword stops Russia and her allies in their tracks. The approach of Western Navies in the eastern Mediterranean also threatens their lines of communication and thus Russia retreats out of Egypt and before leaving the Levant entirely makes one last attempt at eliminating their other Semitic enemy, the Jew, but are completely wiped out in the mountains of Israel. Russia and her allies as well as Al-Arabia fail in their attempt to destroy Israel and occupy the Middle East as a way to change the course of history. After their defeat then the Fourth Kingdom ruled by the Anti-Christ and supported by the False Prophet in Israel is able to muster the remaining kings of the world through their demonic emissaries to march the world's remaining armies to Jerusalem to eliminate all of righteous Israel and prevent the enthroning of Christ as the King of David at the Second Advent.

Additionally, the distinguishing characteristic of the Fourth Kingdom is the number 666. This number is utilized as an oath of fealty to the Emperor by the superhuman endowed False Prophet of Israel. Whosoever does not take this number is committing treason as far as the Emperor is concerned. No one may buy or sell without the number and due to the advent of the computer the ability to verify ones fealty is easily and totally enforceable. No person may just plead "neutral" for this is not the purpose of the number. All must accept the Emperor as their savior or else! By accepting the number of the Emperor you are in essence bowing your knee to the "Man of Sin" instead of the "Son of Man" who is Christ Jesus our Lord. The world at this time will gladly bow their knee to the Emperor and thus enter into a state of war with Heaven. The citizens of Heaven will wage war with the citizens of Earth and just as the Fourth Kingdom will execute those who do not bow their knee to the anti-Christ so shall the Everlasting Kingdom of Christ execute those who accept the number of the Emperor. If the Saints cannot enter the Fourth Kingdom of Anti-Christ at the middle of Tribulation then neither can the citizens of earth enter the Everlasting Kingdom of Jesus Christ at the end of the Tribulation.

No amount of scrubbing will remove the number of the anti-Christ once the King of Kings and Lord of Lords returns with his superhuman armies. The number of the anti-Christ is to be fused into the skin of the right hand or forehead. The number will now be a mark of doom to them that bow their knee to Satan. This leaves very few options open to them that survive the devasting destruction of the Tribulation and when the Great White Calvary begins the mopping up operation (Iron Sceptor) to rid the world of them who are in league with the Anti-Christ. Those who are marked with his number will be eliminated by Christ's victorious armies. Once again this "massacre of the seditious" is directed to them that make a free-will decision to give their fealty to the Anti-Christ. I believe this mark is given only to adults because only they are allowed to "buy and sell" and thus the children of rebellious man would not be in a position to complete commercial transactions and therefore would be left unharmed by the conquering armies of Christ as they would not need the mark of 666 since their parents are representing them in the market place and political square. I say this because it must be reiterated here that 666 is a free-will decision that only adults are in a position to make.

Death and Hades

This phrase is a metaphor for both Operation Scorpio and Draco. The only horseman of the "four horseman of the Apocalypse" that is so aptly named. The fact that "hades" is mentioned at all in first four scrolls tells us the geographic location of this massive force (in the earth) and exits the earth once God allows them this opportunity towards the end of the Great Tribluation which apparently Hades has the ability to destroy billions of human beings.

In addition, in Revelation 1, Christ himself states that he owns the key to "death and hades". We know that when the 5th Trumpet is sounded in Rev 9, an angel falls to earth with "the key" to the Abyss. From here, we see that once the gate to the Abyss is unlocked then Operation Scorpio is initiated. So, in heaven the key is held by God and cannot be accessed until Christ himself breaks the seals of the doomsday book and thus allows the key to the Abyss to be utilized by Satan at the appointed time towards the end of Tribulation.

Furthermore, we know in Rev 20 that God will open "the books" and the "dead" will be judged which is the Great White Throne judgement at the end of Millenial reign of Christ. Here, we see something very interesting: the dead both small and great are judged (humans) then the sea gave up the dead in them (nephalim - half-humans) and then "death and hades"(inhumans) gives up their dead in them! Clearly, we see that this metaphor means much more than people realize. We know that the half-human race of angelic/humans that were spawned by Angels to thwart the coming First Advent of Christ were destroyed by God in the now famous Noah's flood. However though the Nephalim are dead they have yet to be officially judged by God. They are ressurected at the Great White Throne for their rejection of Jesus Christ during their time on earth in ancient history. Finally, the last group of "humans", the inhuman force of Scorpio and Draco, are raised for their judgement as well for their rejection of the Christ. I believe this proves that these forces have free-will and that they could have accepted Christ as their savior but chose not to for their own reasons. None of these classes of "humans" are in the Book of Life due to their rejection of Christ and thus are condemned to the Lake of Fire: the Humans (Homo-Sapiens), the Half-Humans (Nephalim) and the Inhumans (Scorpio & Draco).

How could the armies of Scorpio and Draco have been created? How is it that they remain a mystery to us in particular and mankind in general for so long? Perhaps the plan to thwart the First Advent of Christ by Satan by "creating" the Nephalim of half man/half angels actually had an earlier precendent? Perhaps the troops of Scorpio and Draco are half animal/half angels in their genetic makeup but retain human characteristics from their "angelic" side? We know from John's description of them in Revelaton chapter 9 that they have animalistic and humanoid characteristics and yet these creatures are able to operate in military fashion showing the world their own ability to obey orders and thus they too have free-will! And just as the angels who conspired to thwart the First Advent of Christ are now inprisoned in Tartarus awaiting judgement at the end of Millienium perhaps then this is the reason we see a fallen angel currently residing in the Abyss (Apollyon) and four fallen angels residing with the "Army of the Euphrates" of 200 million inhuman calvary troops which in a way is their own prison just as it is for the Tartarus angels of Noah's Flood! If angels are incarcerated for their crime to prevent the First Advent of Christ at the time of Noah then certainly we might see angels incarcerated yet awaiting "parole" for their eventual crime in preventing the Second Advent of Christ yet to come in the future.

What is further interesting is John's description of the Scorpion troops of Revelation 9 concerning the matter of their golden "crowns". Perhaps these crowns are simply decorations of the most powerful of their "kind" given by the fallen angels for their loyalty, ability and understanding to the greater cause of Satan. Just speculation of course but certainly we see parallels between "them" and mankind as well in regards to rewards given to the most honoerable and enterprising among us. Which once against points to the fact that these creatures do have free-will and thus held accountable for their actions not only in their relation with man but with God as well.

Finally, we know that by the time of the First Advent of Christ the great army of our Lord, the Church, had yet to be recruited by God. And thus Christ announces to Peter directly but indirectly to Satan himself at the dawn of the Church Age, that upon "this Rock I will build my Church and the 'gates of hades' will not prevail against it" thus establishing the prophetic and future event of the Second Advent when the completed army of God, the Church, follows him at the Second Advent and are thereby I believe tasked by God to destroy Satan's secret armies now held in abeyance in both the Abyss and Euphrates. The superhuman armies of Christ that descend from Heaven will destroy the inhuman armies of Satan that ascend from the earth at the Second Advent. Just as Christ predicted the strategic defeat of Satan in the Garden of Eden regarding the first advent so we see here that Christ predicts the strategic and tactical defeat of Satan's glorious inhuman armies at the Second Advent by none other than the Church itself before Christ was crucified at Golgotha. The superhumans eliminate the inhumans as humanity itself is incapable of dispatching this great and mighty foe. This must have been a stunning development in the Angelic World, both fallen and elect, nearly 2000 years ago when this was announced by our Lord to the Apostles. And since the Angelic Conflict has largely been invisible to us then we should not be surprised that this development (creation of the Church to destroy the inhumans among many reasons for its purpose) might appear unknown and invisible to us as well.

We must understand from Satan's point of view that by the time Christ became "flesh among us" at his first advent nearly 2000 years ago he, Satan, was pretty much successful at thwarting God's plan for mankind: Satan had dethroned the first perfect human, Adam in the Garden, by seducing him to partake of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil - God's response was to cast man out of the Garden and perfect environment; Satan had initiated a plan to prevent the first advent of Christ by infecting all of humanity with a genetic angelic strain in human DNA when Angels looked upon the "daughters of men" and the two became one when fallen Angels procreated with mankind thus producing "mighty men of renown- God's response was to destroy all of humanity save 8 souls (Noah and his family) with the flood to rid humanity of this angelic/human hybrid; After the flood Satan convinced mankind to settle together instead of spreading out far and wide under his evil plan to unite humanity under one flag - God dispelled this attempt by imputing humanity with mulitple languages when the tower of Babel was being built; Satan had completely disrupted the first Royal Family of God, Israel, from completing her mission to spread the eternal gospel of Christ by embroiling Israel in the worship of the pantheon of false gods that was so pervasive in the Middle East at that time - God's First Royal Family thus was no use to him and they were ripe for judgement as God gave them over to slavery in form of conquering world powers. Everywhere in the Old Testament Satan is successful in thwarting God at every critical point in history. Finally, Satan still had his inhuman armies to unleash and God had no army of his own to stop this menace in the future by the time Christ appears at the First Advent.

Additionally, Satan is quite successful in getting Israel to reject their Messiah and King and have our Lord eventually crucified as the "political usurper" that he was accused of being. It is always darkest before the dawn as the saying goes and after Christ rises from the dead a new age is born in which an army of superhumans can be slowly constructed over time in the form of God's Second Royal Family- the Church. This second family does not replace the first but does augment it and both figuratively and literally becomes the cavalry that saves the day for Israel and the Saints in the future. I believe The Church will be used be God to destroy Satan's inhuman armies and it is the muscle and sinews of Christ's words and agenda at his Second Advent. The Church becomes the physical embodiment of God and with that unity in Christ we will be invincible. So powerful we become that neither fallen man nor angel can stop the Second Royal Family of God so that even death will flee from us. Indeed, the Gates of Hades shall not prevail against us.

Death Defiant: Era of the Superhuman

The Era of the Superhuman begins at the moment the Church is raptured from the earth sometime in the future. The Rapture of the Church occurs at the end of the Church Age and with it everything we have come to know about ourselves as well as other beings, both angelic and inhuman, will now become known to all of mankind both fallen and elect. Just as the 20th Century ushered in the era that ended the horse and buggy so the Rapture fundamentally changes mankind forever. We will never return to an era where man believes they are "alone" in this world. We will see God, we will see Angels, we will see creatures beyond our imagination and of course we will see mankind able to defy death and perform "miracles" beyond anything we have possibly imagined. The Royal Family of God, the Church, are the first humans to receive their ressurection bodies fashioned after the likeness of Christ. Jesus Christ is the first human to defy death and we who have bowed our knee to him in fealty will be the first as beneficiaries of Christ's Glory to have an indestructible body like his own. No, there is no kryptonite that will be our Achilles Heel as there is none for them that believe in Christ. We may wade against the stream today but we will walk on water tomorrow and no one will be able to stop us.

After the second Advent the superhuman armies of Christ will mingle with "normal" human beings(born in the millinial reign of Christ but have not been resurrected) as well as ressurected humans (Saints) from ancient history not part of the Church Age. As days give way to weeks and months give way to years humans will reproduce at unprecedented levels and will fill the earth once again with a sea of humanity. At the beginning of Christ's reign all of humanity is regenerate however by the time we near the end of Christ's 1000-year reign as the King of Israel then we see on earth a return to times of old: unregenerate man. In other words, a world peopled with humans who have silently rejected Jesus Christ as their savior. You will note that ressurected humanity, The Church and the Saints, will not force man to "believe" in Christ. This is a free-will decision and mankind's independence to decide for or against Christ is respected even in the future. But with free-will comes culpalbility and responsiblity for one's own actions.

The Church is a new spiritual species created by and for God. We are the Citizens of Heaven and our home will always reside in the heavens throughout the glorious universe. For righteous Israel, if they have bowed their knee to the Lord then they are the "meek" that will inherit the earth. For righteious Israel, God has promised them an everlasting throne on earth, an everlasting kingdom and an everlasting King. Both Royal Families of God, Israel and the Church, will glorify God as we dispense with the royal duties of state on earth as well as in the heavens in the service of our Lord and Master. There is nothing the Church has done in the flesh that has given us this magnificent position but it has completely rested on the grace of God. It is Jesus Christ that has given us our power and it is because of him that we will become the masters of the universe. He is the head and we are the body and the two are one. The Trinity itself resides in the body of each individual person who bows their knee to Christ and our future is directly tied to God in general and to Jesus Christ in particular. For this we are eternally grateful for what he has done for us and indeed for the Church to live is for Christ and to die is for gain.

Thou shalt have no other gods before me sayeth the Lord and as such I refuse to worship the man Barack Hussein Obama. The constant adulation of the senator from Illinois is really getting nauseous and annoying to the point that I have to turn off the television news coverage even though I love politics. There is only so much one can take as the "loyal opposition" and this years inauguration of the 44th President will have to go down in history not as the first "black man" accepting the purple of the Presidency (he is half-white after all) but as the first inauguration it which a mere mortal was elevated to deity!

Is this sour grapes on my part? No, it really isn't. I've sensed for a long time that the Republic has so far decayed beyond repair that it would only be a matter of time before a true swindler would arrive on the political scene and usurp the throne in America. I just hadn't considered that it would occur so soon after Bill Clinton left office in 2000. I considered Bill Clinton as the greatest swindler of all time and truly unworthy to hold the office of the President since being Commander and Chief of the armed forces and he being a draft-dodger completely and one hundred percent disqualified him as President which was chief among many wrong things about this man from Hope. When he was elected to office in 1992 then I did have sour grapes but this time in 2008 it feels much different.

It seems to me that we are in history making times. I know, every year is "history making" however, when I say history making I mean to say life-altering events that will go down in history as truly momentous and no I'm not talking about Obama being elected to the Presidency. America's role in the world as the Atlas holding up the West seems to be teetering on decline; the economic might of the United States appears on its last legs; the corruption and cynicism in politics that is so pervasive from municipal to federal offices the leftwing tilt in our culture augers a rejection of Christendom in America unknown to us since our founding; the complete breakdown of law and order from the faraway borders of our country to the inner most cesspool of our cities; the micro-managing of our lives by government in all facets of our daily life and of course the ever increasing appetite of the federal budget truly means something big and bad will occur in which the United States will cease to be superpower as we have known it since World War II. Finally, there is the War On Terror and all of the implications that belongs to Obama's actions whether for or against continuing as we have in Afghanistan and Iraq. All arrows are pointing down and I don't foresee the United States emerging from the Obama Administration any stronger but actually much weaker than before.

I did lament last summer that the political contests between two powerful political families, Clinton and Bush, represented a Hatfield and McCoy picture that refuses to cease and desist for the good of the Republic. How long has it been since the Bush's and the Clinton's have been fighting for the Presidency? Since 1988 when GH Bush came to power and really we could go as far back as 1980 when GH Bush was elected as Vice President is when we see this rather unfortunate situation arise in which the nation is held hostage to these squabbling political families. A blood feud indeed. The election of Barack Hussein Obama is just the latest gunshot from the Clinton side across the property of the Bush Family plot that hopefully will go unanswered just for the sake of future generations. However, it appears that even Jeb Bush can't resist the power of the "ring" and he too has sent out feelers to see how his ascendancy as a Senator (Florida) could set himself up much like that other scoundrel, Hillary Rodham Clinton from New York, to the Presidency by including a stent in the Senate before he runs for the Oval Office. Thankfully, he decided it would be bad timing considering the dismal approval ratings of his brother GW that he decided to bow out while his good name remains intact. We may consider Jeb's political considerations a very bad omen because its quite possible that Obama may get so bad that it will make GW Bush's reign look like Camelot in comparison and thus the American people will easily gravitate to Jeb should he decide to run for the highest political office in the future.

I know the current worship of Barack Obama is a symptom of both leftwing political revenge and a souless character that refuses to worship the Creator but instead bows before the creature. Atheists themselves say they don't worship the gods but this isn't really honest now is it? They too worhip gods but gods that they can see and in this case they can see Obama but they can't see Christ so they genuflect in blind fealty, if I may be so bold, to "the One" known as Barack Hussein Obama. Communists all over the world exhibit this trait of blind fealty to men from Russia and China to Cuba and North Korea and all points in between. The political left in America and Europe are no different were it not for the intervention of the Church and its adherence to Christ that brings us back down to reality that prevents the rise of dictators in the West. The Christian considers all men corrupt and thus we reject the adulation and worship of men as "saviors". That is true progress but sadly we see a rejection of Christianity at all levels of society and so called "ethics" put in its place as an ersatz moral code that can never replace the true Christian character which is built up like an edifice in the soul by the daily inculcation of bible doctrine. Without this edifice there can be no point of reference for men to fall upon in both good and bad times and keep them well grounded in life. Thus, the West is primed for a dictator perhaps even a "super" dictator for the people themselves have rejected bible doctrine.

The War Of Terror

Its only been about 3 weeks since the pivotal election in the United States when suddenly from the Indian Ocean came Islamic Terrorists hellbent on murdering thousands of Indians in the financial and entertainment center of India known as Bombay (I know, its Mumbai). That didn't take long did it? I mentioned just on November 4th that the War Of Terror continues even though we elected a President and party that wants to undo the War On Terror. Unfortunately and sadly, I was correct. I was wrong about the election but right about the nature of Islamic Terrorism. Actually, most people know instinctively that the War Of Terror continues but are hoping naively that Islamic Terrorism will simply melt away with the advent of a different President. Don't hold your breath!

Once again, why do we have terrorism and most importantly why is it that most if not all terrorists are Moslem? My friends (may I use that phrase?) international terrorism is a STATE SPONSORED ENTERPRISE. And it is primarily used for POLITICAL effect. It was initially practiced and perfected by the Soviet Union to instill terror and effect political outcomes with their nation state neighbors because their "mighty military" was INCAPABLE of effecting outcomes favorable to Moscow. Since 1947, Israel has militarily defeated ALL OF ITS ENEMIES by conventional military means much to the disgust and angst of Al-Arabia. Time and time again the Moslems lead by Egypt, Syria, and Saudi Arabia attacked tiny little Israel and were met with death, destruction and humiliation. Israel showed the world that Islam is a military paper-tiger. It didn't matter which Moslem country attacked Israel every single one of them was militarily defeated.

Enter the Palestine Liberation Organization. With the lessons learned by the Soviet Russians the Moslems turned to them for succor in healing their military wounds. Marrying political terrorism with the Islamic religion the Moslems now turned communistic political thuggery into Islamic Terrorism as the means to wage war. This wasn't Jihad as history knows it. In the past Islam was able to field huge armies in the conventional sense and invade other lands and countries with little or no opposition. Those weak states that tried to defend themselves were met with an army of religious fanatics who followed Muhammad and met defeat at the hands of these Moslem fanatics. In India especially, we know that Moslems murdered tens of millions of its inhabitants to establish their control over this region. Only in lands where there was an equal or greater conventional military to meet the Moslem head on were they even blunted and even defeated such as when they ran up against the Franks in the West and the Byzantines in the East. Jihad then is not, I repeat, not Jihad today. Don't get me wrong Islamic Terrorism is still led by fanatical Muhammedans and only the most devout Moslem could possibly be such a "soldier" but today's Jihadist is a far cry from yesterday's Saracen.

It simply is impossible for Islam to wage war by CONVENTIONAL means today because every state or culture that it brushes up against has NUCLEAR WEAPONRY as well as a well funded conventional military! Russia, India, Europa, United States and China with Africa as the only exception. Even tiny Israel has a nuclear capability which, of course cannot be confirmed or denied. Al-Arabia has no such indigenous arms industry. They have no nuclear weaponry (I call Pakistan's bluff!) They have no indigenous economic system. They have no indigenous pool of talent to propel them forward as a true "superpower". The only thing they export today is simply commodities in the form of petroleum. That's it! And that wasn't discovered by them but by the British in Persia almost a hundred years ago!! So basically, Al-Arabia are a bunch of morons. Conventionally weak and economically backward they rely on assymetrical means to effect political outcomes. Thus, the Middle East is a basket case waiting to be plucked as the low hanging fruit by any superpower willing to take on the only thing that keeps it "sovereign" in the world today: the warlike and barbaric religion we know as Islam.

Hence, international terrorism today is mainly executed by the Mohammedans. That's all they got left. Yes, they have made money exporting petroleum but how long will that last? How long before America decides to drill its own massive reserves of petroleum in Alaska and off California? How long before petroleum is replaced as the primary source of fuel? The law of diminishing returns is already squeezing Al-Arabia into a very precarious and dangerous geopolitical position which will render this society, culture and people obsolete. This is the main reason Al-Arabia has resorted to "asymmetrical" means of waging war and we must call it for what it is: state sponsored Islamic terrorism.

What will they gain by this act? They believe they will gain time. Time to achieve their last goal before they themselves are swallowed up by the greatest political, military, economic and I might add religious system today: The West. For the Mohammedan the writing is on the wall. Their culture, society and people are not merely the "sick man of Europe" but the sick man of the world. For them their only recourse to remain sovereign in an interdependent world is to establish the Islamic Caliphate once more. Its last home was based in Constantinople or Istanbul, Turkey and since the Caliphate ceased to exist there has been a movement domestically to wage terror against their own people in far away places such as Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Iraq and so forth to eliminate leaders who don't subscribe to their view. The Moslem Brotherhood in Egypt established in 1928 after the fall of the Caliphate was the template used to establish this precedent. I suspect the Caliphate will indeed rise again through Islamic revolution and terrorism as this is the only way to overthrow their own faithless overlords who don't subscribe to the tenets of Islam. Al Qaida is but one manifestation of this political phenomena.

The entire world has experienced Islamic Terrorism because the Moslem cannot abide or be a servant to the world for any reason politically, economically and of course, religiously. The Middle East is not plugged into the world system like Asia, Europe and America. They sell commodities in the form of oil but this isn't the same as being fully grafted into the world wide system of trade that is now so pervasive since World War II. The only other power today that resembles the Middle East is none other than Russia herself. Hence, the Middle East and Russia are on a collision course. Islam and Orthodox Christianity have been mortal enemies ever since the Mohammedan has entered history and I suspect they will come to one last final blow as they attempt to be masters of their own future WITHOUT the West.

Otherwise, George H Bush would have won again but Perot's "conservative" credentials impaled Bush's no new taxes pledge for all to see. And Bill walked into the Presidency and the rest was history. This time we had another George Bush in office and we should not have been surprised to see Bill Clinton also divide the conservative vote again with his latter day Perot in the man Barack Hussein Obama. Coincidentally, both Obama and Perot have big ears! Yes, its true and they both talk funny. Now, Bill Clinton hovers over the Executive Branch like some poltergeist that refuses to leave. Dishes mysteriously vanish...womens dresses curiously stained...female interns bizarre reactions upon entering the Oval Office...desks bumping up and down for no good reason. Yes, this is the Barack Presidency but with Bill Clinton hiding in the closet watching and breathing heavily.

Okay, I admit it, I was wrong. I thought the American people would reject what is obviously to me a big fat phony in the person of Barack Hussein Obama. I stand corrected. I thought the Hillary Holdouts would come to the rescue and boy was I wrong on that one. I'm not sure why I came to that conclusion earlier in the year since the phony feminists during the Clinton era allowed Billy-Bob to run practically naked in the White House without so much as a peep. Why should they come out in favor of McCain since there was no historical precedent for it in the first place?

I was wrong about the South since they normally run with Republicans in most elections since Ronald Reagan but admittedly they barely voted for Obama in Virginia, North Carolina and Florida. However they still claimed important states that should have swung to McCain but alas it was not to be. Will the Left now stop accusing "the South" for being closet Confederates from here on out? I doubt it. At least we now know that the South can change their minds. This cannot be said for the North especially in New England which seems to be locked into a perpetual winter of liberal statist politics that sees no apparent thaw in the far future.

I was wrong about Obama's narrow focus on race or should I say his supporters narrow focus on race. I presumed that race was too limiting of a philosophy to unite other ethnic nationalities behind you and your candidate. But here I was wrong again since apparently the hatred of the "White Man" has completely consumed the passion of other nativists in the Democrat Party and her leftwing auxiliaries in Academia, Unions, print and broadcast media, and ACORN type political organizations and other various political machinery too numerous to mention here. Obama's biggest claim to fame is that he beat a white man in a Presidential election that no other black man was able to do.

May I be frank here at this moment? The entire modus vivendi of the Left is to destroy the high position of the White Man and to place all others ahead of him in line. The white man's burden has become the white man's yoke! A yoke of slavery to work and work and work so that others may be promoted above you. For the White Man he must now work harder to outflank this racist policy that has so destroyed our culture and way of life like no other policy devised by man. This current culture came about ironically not by other ethnic races but by white men themselves! White men in positions of power allowed these policies to flourish to achieve their goal of forcing an ethnic and cultural polyglot that was anti-American, anti-Christian and anti-Western. And actually, it wasn't just in the United States that this phenomena occurred as it was a global movement that began in the late 19th century and found fertile ground in the 20th Century after two terrible world wars had completely decimated the strong holds of the white man. So now, everywhere you go others are in positions of power except the "evil white man" in places such as Africa, Asia, Middle East, Central and South America and now here in the United States of America. Multiculturalism is a false paradise predicated on the belief that the white man must get his "comeuppance" by losing his entire estate to the natives. Utopia or Hotel California? Or do the two overlap?

Are the American people conservative with a liberal leftwing superstructure? Honestly, I believe that asceticism is often confused for conservatism and that naturally all peoples have a introverted and quiet disposition. This is not conservatism. Most of the great leftists in history have been men of ascetic lifestyles in which they may be misconstrued as a conservative were it not for the fact of their revolutionary ideals. So after all is said and done I believe the majority of American people to be ascetic and leftwing (I offer the rejection of gay marriage and the election of Obama by the people as proof of this apparent dichotomy) and have rejected the ideals of a small government, free enterprise state anchored to a free people with a Christian orientation. Those days, I'm afraid, are long gone. The micro-managing of the people by the state is what the people have chosen and what they shall now enjoy with all that it implies.

Is this a temporary loss of power by conservatives? Will the pendulum swing back in our favor sometime in the future? No, this is a permanent loss and a road of no return as the Left so clearly has admonished in their political doctrines. They are the ones now in power and they know they must fight and kill to maintain their lofty position. The ends and the means justify their actions as far as they are concerned. Brute force is the order of the day as Joe the Plumber so clearly showed us. He will not be the last.

This was my reaction two years ago in the 2006 mid-term elections and still holds tonight. The American people have given up the War On Terror and more importantly the election to the Presidency of the most powerful nation on earth of a man with a middle name like Hussein is the capstone on the American century. Its over. The era of prosperity is over. The era of America is over. Victory is the word that none shall speak. Only retreat and defeat militarily, economically, politically and culturally will be the order of the day.

Obama is a flim-flam man and a complete fraud. Only now will America slowly realize the mistake she has made. However, I believe this is the road of no return. There are nations in history that have taken their corner to utter destruction. Now its America's turn. This is what the 60's peacnik generation has wrought. They have damned America with their evil policies and the American people will suffer for it. After all it takes two to tango. The American people could have said no but chose to say yes. Yes out of fear? Yes out of guilt? Pick your poison.

Under the Obama regime you can fully expect a complete economic contraction from a 15 - 13 Trillion GDP to somewhere between a 10 - 8 Trillion GDP. You can expect a federal budget somewhere between 4 - 6 Trillion dollars. Iraq is finished and Afghanistan too precarious to keep occupied. Pakistan will fall to the Taliban inspired insurgency against that leftist government. The defense budget axed to pieces and any future weapons systems placed in stasis if not eliminated. The socialist policies will now give way to fascistic governance the likes of which America has never witnessed. There will be no going back. Even if Republicans should get the White House back four years from now they will not reverse these policies anymore than they reversed them in the last 27 years.

Did Senator John McCain let us down? Perhaps. Perhaps he was too soft and too gregarious and too much of a moderate to handle such lefty cronyism in Obama and Biden. But in the end the American people are to blame. It is their sons fighting overseas and their pensions on Wall Street that should have at least kept them from pulling the lever for Barack Obama. They owe it to our men and women fighting overseas but alas the American people have shrunk before the enemies of America. Now, the Presidency is in the hands of a complete moron. I know, you thought it was GW who was the moron. You ain't seen nothing yet.

Sorry, McCain, I don't support this usurper and never will. The Left has betrayed America and now the world will see what happens when they will have to defend themselves as the Left will betray the world. Idiots them all. Obama proclaimed himself a citizen of the world and I know not this man who claims to be a citizen of America. The American media have finally did their duty and placed a leftwing stooge on the throne. If it weren't for the mainstream media then Obama would have been gone way back in the democrat primaries. "Don't fire until you see the whites of their eyes" thus spoke William Prescott at the battle of Bunker Hill in 1775. Such is the situation that McCain finds himself in as we near the end of this election campaign. The Left, the Media - print and broadcast, and of course the Democrat Party have all but written off McCain's ragtag army opposing the colossus that is Barack Hussein Obama and his ACORN auxiliaries. Even McCain's allies such as George Will and Kathleen Parker have been found scouring off the battlefield before the history-turning engagement that will erupt on November 4th, 2008 for wont of courage and hope. But before we give up the field let us review the enemy weaknesses before we decide its "all over". I have identified three fundamental problems plaguing the Obama campaign: Hillary Holdouts, the Southern Vote, and the narrow focus and meaning of Barack Obama.

Hillary Holdouts - The leftwing media have consistently neglected the division within the Democrat Party between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama during and after the bruising primaries last summer. Their voting blocks can't stand each other and clearly towards the waning days of the Democrat Primaries Hillary clearly locked up the vote for herself much to the surprise and angst of the Democrat Party. No clear winner was had during this time. Hillary demonstrated that in states that white liberal Democrats mingled with minorities such as in Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio and Florida she completely routed Obama. In states where white liberal Democrats were in the majority and mostly did not intermingle with minorities such as in Iowa, Minnesota, South Dakota and Montana then Barack Obama beat her handily. This apparent dichotomy in voting patterns has been completely ignored and will likely rear its ugly and some might say "racist" head come election day in which these states may turn purple in favor of McCain. The Hillary Holdouts may not like Sarah Palin much but they despise Obama as the Democrat Usurper that he is as this should be Hillary's time as the Presidential candidate for the Democrat Party. The Left never forgets nor do they ever forgive and the feminists will let it be known on November 4th that they cannot be taken for granted.

The Southern Vote - Some things never change and in the South the idea that you could have a black man for President is pretty much a dead deal. And this year not only do we have a black man (Malloto really) running for President both democrats running for President and Vice President are Yankees to boot. Illinois and Delaware don't exactly exhibit excitement among the Southern voters whose ancestors were defeated by the North in the War Between The States. Even my own grandfather who was from Little Rock, Arkansas though a lifelong Democrat could never suffer a black man as his candidate for President no matter how liberal he may be. Then of course we have the usual catcalls from Northerners of every stripe about how stupid the South is and basically they can just write off the South as far as the electoral college is concerned. Virginia and Florida could be an exception this year but I have a cautious feeling they will fall towards John McCain. You will note that these two states have generally been infiltrated by Northerners more and more every year and hence their susceptibility to fall towards Democrat Northern control.

Narrow Focus On Race - Basically almost all black people are going to vote for Barack Obama at least as far as the polls suggest. Yes, you do have some guilty white people in the North that feel "bad" that black people were enslaved so long ago and were brought to the New World aboard their Yankee clipper/cargo ships and thus must feel compelled to do the "right thing". Unless of course they are far left liberals in which case black or white they support Obama. However, beyond those two demographics, has Obama truly crossed other ethnic lines and brought Asians, Hispanics, Jews and Westerners aboard his candidacy? I say that he has not and this is actually his Achilles Heel. Though he complains that McCain is using the "race card" it is he who in fact utilizes that canard all the time. The feigned shock whenever Obama is criticized for his policies and attributing these perfectly legitimate objections to "racism" is clearly designed to silence the opposition and castigate them as the new "KKK". The people that Obama has associated himself with are nearly anti-white or anti-American from Jeremiah Wright, Bill Ayers, Father Phleger, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and of course the now infamous Louis Farrakhan of the Nation of Islam. In our society with its multifaceted racial makeup it is very dangerous to focus on just race alone. Most people reject race hustlers and that includes Democrats of all stripes and they will ultimately, I believe, reject Barack Hussein Obama in spite of his illegal ACORN activities to spike the vote in his favor.

In the end its up to the American People to make the final decision. Do we want to embrace Chicago style politics or do we want to rid ourselves of the corrupt and acidic atmosphere that is now so pervasive in Washington D.C.? Is it even possible? Senator John McCain and Governor Sarah Palin have demonstrated in their own lives as public servants that they did not cozy up to their party bosses but actually opposed them. This cannot be said for Senators Obama and Biden.

And so we wait...

Paradigm Shift In Reverse

Are we in a paradigm shift? Has history returned to the point it left off in 1929 or perhaps even 1914? Now, granted I speak rhetorically here because history was indeed made in those years but what I mean is history going back in reverse? First, we had the Stock Market Crash of 1929 and then the Great Depression followed. Then we got FDR elected into office and the beginning of America's devolution into socialist government-lite with Social Security and big government programs. Then we got World War II and America after struggling from her high position became the Western Atlas holding up the "Free" world and it has been this way ever since 1945.

Now, it appears everything is in reverse. We just came out of the Cold War victorious and had a genial interregnum of peace during the 1990's (1945-1950) in which America was numeral Uno. No one could come close to our economic, political, military, cultural and industrial power and influence in the entire world. Then came 9/11 (1939-1945) and the infamous attack on the World Trade Center and Pentagon. We then waged a symmetrical and asymmetrical global war against terrorism and the states that sponsor terrorists. It has often and I might add erroneously compared to WWII however it was global in scale much like WWII. The amount of money to wage this war has been astronomical. Like World War II the technology used has been otherworldly with the advent of UAV's and GPS guided missiles and artillery rounds and of course robots deployed in EOD operations in the War On Terror. Now, we have entered a very serious economic crisis which it too is global in scale (1929-1939) which threatens the military operations in Iraq and Afghanistan as well as our current commitments in Europe and Asia as the policeman in those regions. Now, we are on the precipice of electing a President that either will increase exponentially government control (FDR - 1932) or a President that will not merely cut taxes but actually cut "spending" (1920's).

Senator McCain often likes to compare himself to a Teddy Roosevelt instead of an FDR type which in itself is quite revealing. If I'm correct in the ramifications of the current situation and we are indeed moving in reverse historically at least in America then McCain is to Teddy Roosevelt as America today is to the early 20th Century! In other words, America is returning whether it likes it or not back to where we came from which is small government control which in turn means our complete retreat from the world as the Atlas of the Western World. If McCain/Palin are true to their words and if they are elected come November then its quite possible America will have to reverse course in the world politically and militarily because financially we cannot sustain our current "three trillion dollar" government operating budget and continue on the course that was set out for us nearly 100 years ago by none other than Teddy Roosevelt himself!

This may very well spell the end of America's "experiment" with FDR(that other Roosevelt) big brother government because we simply can't afford it! And Obama wants to expand government control over the health sector of America? Do you realize that is at least another TRILLION dollar boondoggle or worse if we go down that route? Then there is the misnomer known to us as Social Security that is the next big shoe to drop in the financial arena that will completely destroy whats left of our "solvent" financial situation if there is any monies left after all is said and done in regards to the bailout.

Naturally, not everything will be an exact anti-type to the events of history nearly 100 years ago but America's contraction throughout the world economically, politically, militarily and culturally will bring, I suspect, America "home again". This doesn't necessarily mean we will have commerce WITH borders as the concept of commerce WITHOUT borders is now out of Pandora's box but America will no longer be the colossus on the world stage that it once was since 1945.

America was outraged when Japan struck the United States in a deliberate attack on December 7th, 1941 at Pearl Harbor, war was declared, a nation rallied together and the world was changed. America emerged victorious.

September 11th, 2001 is another day of infamy that America will never forget. The sheer audacity and murderous conviction of the Islamic Terrorists came face to face with American courage and rugged individualism that produced a form of true grit on that fateful day a mere seven years ago. Thousands would perish in a matter of minutes as each hijacked plane struck their intended and unintended targets. We cannot know the sheer terror and panic of that day even though we may see it replayed in story, picture and film. But certainly we have empathy. And a certitude that we will prevail in the end. Vengeance is mine, sayth the Lord.

Many lives have have been impacted by this far away event and continue to be so even as our fighting men and women serve their nation in their capacity as Coast Guardsmen, Sailors, Marines, Soldiers and Airmen in all places destitute and desolate far away from home.

We remember and pay tribute to our fallen countrymen in New York, Pennsylvania and at the Pentagon as well as the men and women in uniform who have paid the ultimate price in defense of this glorious nation. Woe to the enemies of the United States of America.

Whereas, the Governor of Alaska has struck down the most powerful political figures in her state, crafted a budget that ended in black, commanded the Alaska National Guard which is on constant active duty due to her state's geographic location (Russia being 50 miles away) and like Athena, Goddess of War, she is gorgeous!

There is simply no comparing her to them. And yet we are told that she has no experience? What? Are you morons? All that Obama is a mere leftwing street agitator from Chicago! That's it. Now that's NO GRAVITAS!!!! Then you have Biden, Archie Bunker of the Left, who gets hair plugs to cover up an obvious damaged ego!! Disgusting! Senator John McCain's pick for Vice President was announced a day after Obama Osama's nomination party and I have to say it was quite exciting. Alaska's Governor Sarah Palin on the ticket for Vice President was a complete stunner for the liberal media and especially for the Democrats. A brilliant tactical maneuver that now has broad strategic implications. I swear I could hear Democrats and leftists screaming in sheer panic and anger when it became apparent that she would be the shieldmaiden of the Republican Party. Vengeance is a dish best served cold, icy Alaskan cold, that is!

Oh, the pain and agony of the Democrats. Immediately they charged ahead with accusations that she has "no gravitas" which of course is straight out of the 2000 election year playbook against President George W. Bush. Well, I say to them if Governor Palin is a "zero" in terms of "experience" then what makes Obama? A negative? Oh, then I hear that you can't compare Palin to Obama because one is running for V.P. and the other for President. Well, I say to that again the Obama camp picked Biden as the Democrat V.P. to counter McCain's experience as President and yet no one is saying you "can't compare" the two, now are they? All is fair in love and war.

Furthermore, if one must speak of experience what kind of experience are we talking about here? The kind of experience that is a deeply corrupt and entrenched bureaucracy type that is clearly exhibited by a Joe Biden V.P. choice? The man is dripping and soaking in corruption considering the 30 plus years in federal government. What a waste of taxpayer money that is the person we know as Joe Biden. Whereas, Governor Palin is the type of person who eschews bureaucracy as the inert matter that it is to good government. Her very life is the epitome of small government in action - get it done and go home. Property tax cuts and an ethically sound body politic is what she expects and certainly is what she'll get or else! As far as Vice Presidential picks go if Palin is a Barracuda then certainly Biden is a shark! And a big fat one to boot, teeth and all.

McCain's decision to run with Palin was a brilliant tactical decision that gives way to strategic returns that even now is leaving the Left reeling and flailing in despair as the Hillary Clinton saga comes full circle to the benefit of Senator John McCain. How does that saying go~ "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned"? The Hillary Holdouts now have an option that is more important than just merely "sitting out" this election to protest the Obama candidacy. They can now actually vote for someone that best suits their strategic agenda of womens rights in America. To have a female in an executive position in the White House is something they never have savored before and even though she may be "just" Vice President she would certainly be the President of the Senate much to the chagrin of a defeated Joe Biden, Senator from Rhode Island, come November. Oh, the bitter pain and agony of defeat. It isn't much for democrat feminist voters but it is better than nothing. And once the usurper Barack Obama is defeated in November then Hillary Clinton like some maniacal harpy can come back in 2012 to finally go mono a mono against an experienced Sarah Palin albeit in her capacity as the President of the Senate. No, I am not talking about Soviet Socialist Republics but instead I refer to State Sponsored Religions. I believe we may be seeing the end of the atheistic era that stretched from the end of WWI to the end of the Cold War that rose to prominence on the apocalyptic horsemen of the socialist rationale and that ultimately engulfed Europe, Asia and the Middle East. These areas of the world once were the bastions of Christianity, Buddhism and Islam but instead their thrones were pulled down by the tide of the time which was down on God and up on materialism which socialism so conveniently filled. As the atheistic/socialist creeds grew from the bloodstained fields of WWI these horsemen if you will charged forth and mowed down all before them. Communism in Russia, National Socialism in Germany, Fascism in Italy and Democratic socialism in the West all sallied forth like some phantom menace to crush under foot and hoof their religious foes.

The modus vivendi of these societies were rooted in ancient traditions and local customs but alas these were cannon fodder for the horsemen of the socialist apocalypse. As these materialistic theories gained credence and their ideas became policy the true horror of what was about to fall upon its victims could not be reversed. Not only were the people of each society plunged into a socialist hell of torture, imprisonment and slave labor the murder of innocents took on international proportions as each great power jostled for world leadership. World War II was a clash of socialist civilizations that could not abide each others world view as their own model of life was considered "sacred" and "holy" to their godless masters. Total war was the only recourse for these socialist countries and even in America which was seduced by the dark side under the aegis of FDR, she too would wage war like never before and hasn't since. World War II accounted for nearly 70 million people dead in just 6 short years. The sheer savagery and ferocity of this war can only be explained not only by the technological progress that it heralded but also by the complete emptiness and vacuous of the soul of the atheistic man. The decisions made at the highest levels of government speaks volumes as the elites refused to accept that they were not only responsible for themselves in this life but in the one thereafter. Today they must eat and drink for tomorrow they die.

The Cold War was no better as Communism moved into Asia and began slaughtering its people from Pyongyang to Peking to Saigon and onto Phenom Pehn. And the murderous Asian death toll from this horseman? Nearly 70 million souls! And that is between 1949-1989 and it should be considered 40 years of judgement. Naturally, these states also waged war among themselves and against the United States with the North Koreans and North Vietnamese waging wars of "liberation" and "unification". Internally and externally Asia has refused Buddha and Christianity and instead has soaked in a bloodbath of atheism and socialism which it still wants to believe can propel it forward to "greatness". I truly pity them, the fools.

Now we are seeing a slow metamorphosis as states realize the debacle that they have placed themselves in by embracing an anti-religious position. There very own national existence is threatened by their own incompetence! Now, after so many bloody years and the masses questioning the ersatz wisdom of Marx, Engels, Lenin, Stalin, Hitler, Mussolini, Mao, these countries must reverse course if they ever want to compete with the mighty United States of America. In a way, we have shown them the way. Unfortunately, its not the US Constitution they so admire as it is the religious ardor of its people in believing that their way is the only way in the world. American liberal/socialists elites just despise the common man's love of their country and their "nativists" belief in the efficacy of the American experiment. Only in America, ironically without a "state" sponsored religion, however Christianity has always and still is a major component of the masses, has the peoples love of their nation been compelled not by brute force of arms or by propaganda worship of the state but by the peoples devotion to their God.

For these nations in Europe, Russia, Asia and the Middle East their interest in "Freedom of Religion" isn't for some esoteric love of the divine but instead will be used by them to rally the masses around their agenda. They are still socialist but now with a religious fervor that can be used by the state to propel their people forward for whatever agenda they have planned. Indeed, atheism is dead! Religion now fills the void.

In Europe we are seeing the steady rise of the power of the Catholic Church. The expanding union of European states is reaching a breaking point as all of these diverse nations attempt to coagulate around Brussels. Perhaps the Vatican can provide just enough motivation to finally seal the deal as far as a European Unification is concerned?

In the Middle East we see evidence on all fronts that the pan-nationalistic fervor of the Arab has given way to the steady call to Mohamed. Islam is gaining ground at the expense of atheistic states that once included Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Iraq, Libya and even in Turkey. Will the Caliphate rise again? Perhaps. I believe it may very well be based in Egypt as this was the place in which the first Islamic terrorist organization was formed after the secular Turks disbanded the Caliphate in 1922: the Moslem Brotherhood.

In the former Soviet Union we see the return of the Eastern Orthodox Church to Russia and the glory and the legitimacy that it now brings to the state. Though it may be more diminutive today it can now rally the people around not only the flag but God himself which is not the sloven and fallible Stalin that once was Moscow's preeminent secular deity. Even the last Romanov Czar and his family has been canonized as Saints as Russia begins its historical recovery from the evils of the Communist era.

How will Asia respond? When will the leaders of China decide that religion can be used to good effect or will they continue to cling to their secular beliefs? Only time will tell. As the communist states in Asia were the last to embrace this atheistic evil from the West so they will be the last to come around to allowing their people to worship the gods of their ancestors. Should we be surprised to see in Cambodia that the leaders of Pol Pot who murdered millions of their own countryman should in the end finally accept Jesus Christ as their savior? Indeed, perhaps a preview of things to come.

Even though socialism remains the modus vivendi of governments worldwide, including sadly the United States, at least we see the retreat and perhaps even the death knell of the athiest component of this two headed beast that has so ravaged the planet since 1917.

The Leftwing establishment and her orc-like supporters all over the world have been wandering in the desert of American political power at least at the executive level since the Presidential halcyon days of Ronald Reagan and the twin heirs of Reagan - GH and GW Bush. The interregnum of Clinton did somewhat appease them for a while but just two years later Billy-Bob Clinton was pretty much politically castrated with the stunning defeat of the Democrat Party in both the House and Senate in the mid-90's. For nearly 30 long years the Left has been on the defensive, at least as they see it, in American politics but now their time has finally arrived. Happy days are here again!

Hence the gushing coverage of Obama (who could do no wrong) by the media sycophants who keep reminding us they are "not" leftwing and are being "fair" in their coverage. The gross display of imagery by the media with him standing at a podium "like the President" or riding in a helicopter over Baghdad "like the President" is really pretty amazing when he is still a candidate and actually has not gone to the Democrat convention yet to accept his party's nomination! (not to mention we have not voted for him for President) What's worse is world leaders actually engaging in this political charade from Iraq's Al-Maliki to Germany's Angela Merkal to France's Sarkozy. Their willing participation is a plebiscite of sorts from the capitals in Europe and the Middle East that they would prefer a leftwinger like Obama to a true American hero like McCain who has served in the military and politics all his life in the service of HIS COUNTRY and not necessarily for some abstract concept as "citizen of the world".

Ironically, as Obama's star is rising in the media and in the world of leftwing socialists the more liberal leaders that he could have joined forces with are no longer around: Germany, Italy, France, Canada and soon in Britain have seen and will see leadership changes that will be markedly more "conservative" than anything Obama can stomach. Granted, Europe is still vastly and always will be more socialistic than America and this may explain why these nominally conservative leaders would encourage Obama because Barack would make America more like "them" rather than more like "us". Even so, if Gordon Brown looks like the worse Prime Minister since Neville Chamberlain and we see him booted from office then Obama really won't have any "friends" to speak of as polical alliances in Europe will keep any relationship on the Continent from coalescing around such a loser like Obama. I mean loser in the sense that if he should wind up being President come November that he would rather lose the War On Terror (GW's War) rather than win and thus we see mass global retreat from Mesopotamia to the Hindu Kush at the behest of an "enlightened" ruler like Obama.

Obama and the American Left may retreat in the world but they most certainly will advance in America with all the leftwing agendas fully operational: Gay marriage, nationalized healthcare, open borders, illegal-alien amnesty, stacking the Supreme Court, fairness doctrine, gun control, environmentalism, mutliculturalism, political correctness in every facet of American life and on and on and on. They have been thwarted for nearly 30 years now with their socialist agenda but now the stars look like they have aligned in their proper coordinates and the Age of Aquarius is upon us.

Republicans could have and should have done more to unshackle the American people from the bondage of socialism but alas the end is near. All we have left to stop this juggernaut of leftwing good and evil is the man John McCain. And he is "the man" considering what he went through in the Hanoi Hilton as an American P.O.W. For better or for worse this is all we got. Pray for him because he will need all the support he can muster plus some. The armies of Mordor are marching. To whom do we fight for? Senator John McCain couldn't be more happier. Like his "maverick" reputation, he does not have to answer to anyone except himself. Several factors are in McCain's favor to win the election this fall for the Presidency of the United States.

Disunited Democrats

This is the greatest factor for McCain going into the fall election. A house divided cannot stand and McCain looks to gain from the Democrats miserable primary season this year. Who could have foreseen this disaster coming as far as the Democrats are concerned? They said GW was the biggest mistake in the history of the Republic and this allegation alone should be uniting Democrats and yet for all their talk they are completely split right down the middle between a black Marxist and a white liberal Dominatrix! So slaven to the affirmative action rationale the Democrats cannot come to grips with reality by saying "no" to the Barack Obama candidacy! Clearly, Hillary Clinton has shown quite graphically that Obama Osama cannot win in the states where the white Euro-American population intermingles with minorities en masse such as in New York, California, Florida and Pennsylvania. If white liberals must choose between a black male liberal or a white female liberal then they rather have a white female liberal. But the Democrat Party have played the race card for so long now (the past 40 years) that they are now a victim of their very own racist successes. The leftwing penchant of never forgetting and never forgiving will come home to roost against Obama when the Democrat Party endorses his candidacy against the will of the Hillary holdouts.

Cheating Liberals

How delicious is it that once again Florida comes to the forefront as a banner state of tipping elections towards the loser!! At least that's how lib's see it, I'm sure. Why should Obama receive anything favorable from both Florida and Michigan when he stunningly lost so bad in both states regardless of when these states held their party caucuses? Now that is affirmative action in motion! How does it feel white liberal democrats to give up your seat for a minority? Does it sting? Does it make your blood boil at the thought that Hillary should be the presumptive nominee right now but instead a liberal and Marxist black male was pushed ahead to the front of the Democrat Party over a white woman no less? I love it. When you have no integrity then this is what you get. I know Republicans have been blamed for a "culture of corruption" but honestly who is calling the kettle black here? Sorry, I just had to say that. The seething enmity between the Hussein's and the Hillary supporters will be an acid that prevents the Democrats from coalescing around their presumptive but "illegal" nominee and once again, this makes McCain the beneficiary of this familial dispute.

A Big Pill To Swallow

Let's face it, Barack Hussein Obama must fall! It's quite obvious to the historian that he who loses the nomination can come back again but he who loses the election will never rise again. Where is Dukakis today? Where is Mondale today? Where is John Kerry today? Where is McGovern today? Nothing but footnotes in history, if that. Hillary, warts and all, did earn her crown during this nomination fight and has shown that she can win in the most populous states of the Union therefore its better that she should fail now during the nomination process rather than during an election process. Once again, Senator John McCain can be used by Hillary to destroy Barack Obama in this election cycle thus eliminating any future attempt at running for office by Obama. She then can come back four years later with a completely solid House and Senate in Democrat hands and take what was always rightly hers. This will only happen in 2012. I know its tough for liberals to just "give up" but really she is not giving up as much as she is investing in the future. John McCain will be the bat that Hillary uses to club Barack Obama in the coming election.

Conservatives Be Damned

Thus, John McCain does not need conservatives to win this election. I don't recall an election cycle in which conservatives and their platforms were so greatly ignored by the Republican Party as well as by the McCain camp as it is now. McCain clearly is gunning for the disaffected Hillary voter. His enmity with conservatives dates back to the 2000 election in which we did not support his candidacy. With Rush Limbaugh lambasting him daily on his show, John McCain became the butt of conservative jokes from New York to California. His seething hatred of GW Bush in that nomination fight spilled over to conservatives in general. Since then during the past 8 years in the Senate, he has sided with liberal Democrats on issue after issue much to the consternation of both conservatives and the Bush controlled Republican Party. His friendship with the mainstream and dinosaur media also alienated most conservatives. His political flanking maneuver however, has now paid off and even though most Democrats would say no to McCain in any other year this year will be different due to the Obama effect. With half the media (the other half will still support Obama), Hillary supporters, liberal Democrats in the Senate, and moderate to liberal Republicans essentially supporting McCain he stands to win the race for the White House without conservative Protestant Christian support. An unusual anomaly to say the least. Yes, I know, McCain still has his small government conservative bona fides (pro-life, pro-gun, pro-military) however he has appended a political operating standard today of big government Republicanism that clearly distinguishes him as more of an Eisenhower-like figure than a Reagan. As such, a disaffected big government Hillary supporter would much rather support a big government Republican in McCain than the Democrat usurper that is Barack Obama. Thus, the large minority of conservative Protestant Christians are subtracted out of the election equation and Hillary supporters put in its place for a McCain win in the fall.

Its Hard To Predict

It's hard to predict an election outcome. I used to think that McCain would have to pick a conservative Vice Presidential nominee to shore up the conservative base but alas, he really doesn't need to do this and I suspect he won't. I believe that John McCain will pick a big government Republican that is no friend to conservatives. He may speak like a conservative lamb but he will have the horns of a liberal! McCain's endorsement of the environmental alarmist agenda, illegal alien amnesty, nationalized healthcare, and the continuation of the War On Terror (whatever that may be at this point) means that McCain can ride this perfect political storm to victory come November. I always say that elections do not happen in a vacuum. Yes, by himself I would not in good conscience vote for McCain but compared to a Hillary or an Obama then I indeed would vote for him. However, he may not need my vote after all considering all the factors that will make his win this November a likely scenario.

What is the purpose of human life? Should there be a purpose? Let me propose that there is a reason for our existence but it may not appear so obvious at first. Let us go back to some fundamental basics and leave behind all our preconceived notions about God and how he relates to man.

First Among Equals

God is made up of three persons united in one entity. Much like the basic element of water, H2O, this particular element can coexist in three forms and still maintain its watery essence: as a solid such as ice, as a gas such as vapor, and as a liquid as in water. These three forms of H2O can exist together in this manner all at the same time and subsequently is the only element able to do this. Each form additionally has its own characteristics that distinguishes one from the other. In like manner, God is able to share his own essence among the three persons of the Trinity and yet each person of the Trinity has his own personality.

They too have a hierarchy. This hierarchy has been described in the Bible in familial terms for doctrinal reasons and the first person of the Trinity is God the Father. He is the architect of all the plans set in motion and is invisible to the eye. The second person of the Trinity is God the Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the executor of the estate of God and is the only visible member of the Godhead. The third person of the Trinity is God the Spirit. He is invisible to the eye but is able to be emotionally and physically felt by mankind.

God is eternal and is not bound by the constricting laws of time. He is also free to do as he pleases but this is not some divine lasciviousness but it is the liberty by which we all have come to know: freedom with integrity. This "integrity" means that God must maintain his perfect state without letting imperfection corrupt it. Thus, when man rebelled against God in the Garden of Eden they were expelled from his physical presence and ushered in the history of mankind as we know it. Man, like God, has free-will to do as he pleases but with the knowledge of good and evil fully embedded in both mind and body mankind has been quarantined and judged by the perfect character of God.

The Almighty has judged all mankind condemned from the moment we are born due to the actions of Adam. This may seem unfair were it not for the fact that this judicial pronouncement paves the way for God to redeem all mankind through the work of Jesus Christ on the cross. If the disobedience of Adam in the Garden condemns us then the obedience of Jesus Christ on the cross justifies us. It was the integrity of God that condemned Adam and consequently all humanity thereafter and it is the integrity of God that justifies all humanity, past, present and future, by the voluntary work of Christ on the cross. One man brings rejection by God and one man brings reconciliation by God. Hence, at the Judgement Seat of Christ for the righteous and the Great White Throne Judgement for the unrighteous, sins are no longer an issue to be judged by God as this was paid by Christ at Golgotha. The eternal issue thus is not sins but as it always has been, what think ye of Christ? The algebraic equation of condemnation (x) and justification (y) by God thus produces a "z" that we ourselves must fill-in for eternal life to be complete. That "z" is faith in the Lord.

Days of Noah, Days of Lot

Why did God destroy the earth by flood and the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah by fire and sulfur? Was it because of "sins" or was something else going on here that too many have overlooked?

"Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man. People were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all.
"It was the same in the days of Lot. People were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building. But the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all. Luke 17:26-29

Did God destroy the antediluvian civilization and the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah because the people were "sinners"? Were they destroyed because they were "gay" or because they were "bad" people? Furthermore, did God judge them insufficient to live because they were "marrying, eating, drinking, building" and basically just living out life to the fullest? No to both questions! No, the link to both judgments is related to what the people were thinking, not what they were "doing". The doing in this case is the symptom(s) but the larger disease itself is unbelief in the Lord. Put another way, they were giving time to their own lives such as marrying and eating but were not giving time to the Creator. Their "neutrality" towards God would ulitmately make them enemies of God and enemies of them that owe their fealty to God. Thus, they were destroyed because their thoughts were continually evil. Genesis explains the reason for their evil thoughts was that the people lived life in unbelief absent from the presence of God in their minds. What think ye of Christ?

In the case of Noah, only he and his immediate family were righteous. In the case of Lot, the offset was even narrower in that only Lot himself was righteous whereas his family was not. In both cases, when the righteous people were removed from the scene did the judgment of God become operational. When Noah and Lot were in their respective environments then and only then was the hand of God's Judgement stayed. In other words, the difference between life and death on a regional and even on a global scale depended on the viability of the righteous within their locale. When the righteous are removed from their environment then the destructive acts of God fills the vacuum. He at times directly intervenes and at other times he lets others do his bidding be they man or be they angel. Hence, the righteous are called the "salt of the earth" and without the righteous the rot of evil and all of its concomitant and tangled machinations come to life thus attracting the wrath of God.

The Day Of the Son Of Man

Christ mentioned in the Book of Luke that the Second Advent would occur in a vacuum. In this case, just as in the days of Noah and Lot, the vacuum created by an unbelief in the Lord will precede our Lords advent:

"It will be just like this on the day the Son of Man is revealed. On that day no one who is on the roof of his house, with his goods inside, should go down to get them. Likewise, no one in the field should go back for anything. Remember Lot's wife! Whoever tries to keep his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it. I tell you, on that night two people will be in one bed; one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding grain together; one will be taken and the other left."
"Where, Lord?" they asked. He replied, "Where there is a dead body, there the vultures will gather." Luke 17:30-37

The Church Age since 30 AD has been a period of time in which the Gospel of Christ has been ever expanding in the world. Beginning in Israel the gospel radiated outward to the four corners of the earth for 2000 years. However, sometime in the future (if not now) the evangilization of the world will reach a point where the iron law of diminishing returns will take effect. People will slowly grow weary of the Gospel including the whole realm of Bible Doctrine and will reject Christianity wholesale:

Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. 2 Thess 2:1-4

The "falling away" from Christianity as mention in 2nd Thessalonians also creates a vacuum in which false doctrine is able to permiate and grow:

For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. 2 Tim: 3-4

And finally the coup de grace in which false doctrine darkens the soul and civilization gives way to barbarism and a return to the days of old:

For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles.
Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.
Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.
Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done. Romans 1:21-28

As the world rejects the Son of Man (Christ) they will embrace the Man of Sin (anti-Christ) in his place. Negative volition will be de riguer among the nations of the world. Unbelief will reign supreme and the Wrath of God will become operational. And yet, the wholesale rejection of Christ has yet to be consumated and the righteous have yet to be Raptured by God in these darkening days of the Church Age.

The acts of God encompass the whole realm of humanity from the environment to the spirit. Whether redemptive or whether destructive the acts of God are real and should be respected in solemn humbleness by friend and foe alike. As the divine programmer of all things extant it is God that gives life and he is free to take it away.

The purpose of life ultimately is to glorify God and by believing in Christ this sets the example around us that we are unique and the power of God can be used through us since we are the adopted sons and daughters of God. In this Church Age, God may not speak directly to us but through our faithfulness to his Son, Christ the Lord, our actions and thinking might prevail among the people and subsequently offset the Wrath of God which after all is said and done we quite rightly deserve.

Socialism is self righteousness institutionalized! Socialism denies the existence of the sovereign individual. It views mankind through the "group" because we are "all victims" according to this group think. In same fashion, this rationale is extended to all of society in that we "are all guilty" and assume responsibility for anything and everything society does both good and bad. Socialism therefore is antithetical to Christianity because the individual reigns supreme in the Bible. Socialism is also by default antithetical to America as we value individual liberty over societal safety.

Europe fell from the pinnacle of civilization into the barbarity of socialism during the 20th Century. It was socialism above all else that caused the downfall of the British Empire and the collapse of Western Civilization between 1914 and 1991. Between WWI and the Cold War socialism was de riguer amongst the nations of the world and yet those nations that embraced its elixir of evil, economically, politically, militarily and even spiritually have fallen below the civilization standard that we in America have come to enjoy. This is why America today is considered a "Hyper" power because of our singular polarity on the world stage in all facets of power that distinguishes a nation as a superpower. We are the only Western Industrial nation to reject socialism, or at least only sipped while others gulped from its alleged holy grail, and yet in spite of Democrats and Republicans attempts to embrace it since FDR we have risen above all other nations in the world today. No one can match the United States in industrial, political, military and I might add, spiritual capacity as we here in the USA.

Yet there are those we really want us to jump over the edge and embrace it like the Europeans, Asians and Africans before us. Obama, Clinton and even McCain would like us to convert our individual righteousness into national good deeds through the power of the federal government. This is the meaning of Nationalized Healthcare, Global Warming Initiatives, Carbon Offsets, CAFE standards, helmet laws, seatbelt laws, the banning of every conceivable habit from smoking in bars to talking on cell phones in cars! The micromanagement of the people is self righteousness writ large and is the paving stones used on the road to hell! Lawlessness at every level from municipal to federal locales is a dividend of the predominance of socialism. Lawlessness is the lifeblood of this evil creature for it gorges itself on the corpses of nations and grows more powerful at our expense. Through lawlessness socialist principles are embraced and enacted to solve the crisis real or alleged that it itself has created.

Europe in the 19th Century far surpassed the United States of America in terms of military, political, economic and cultural power until the advent of the 20th Century. In the latter 1800's Germany's Bismark embraced a socialistic system of healthcare upon the German peoples that sadly was embraced wholeheartedly. Germany hasn't been the same since. The European peoples had been up to that point been the most advanced civilization on the planet and yet it was socialism that forced their descent below American standards and not necessarily the technological progress that elevated the USA above everyone else. Technology is not a monopoly as evidenced by the fact that Europeans were way ahead of America in the early 20th Century in terms of creating and perfecting the airplane, automobile, submarine, agricultural methods, industrial production and so forth. If anything, it was America that copied the Europeans that allowed us to move "up" in the world. And yet, it was Europeans that went one step further by embracing centralized bureaucracy in government and everything went down hill from there! The heavy hand of government began to make itself felt in every facet of European life and it's that "invisible hand" that actually stunted and reversed European power and ultimately contributed to 3 European wars: World War I, World War II and the Cold War.

The very essence of socialism is anti-God contrary to the boastful pretensions of its adherents who demand we accept their "good works" at the local, state and even federal level while they use our tax dollars to build up their self righteousness. The last commandment states "Thou shall not covet thy neighbors goods" and yet socialism manifests itself amongst the people when they see the riches of others and demand to take it away "for the good of the people". Christ did say to give to the poor however he did note that the poor would always be with us. Hence, His injunction to "give" instead of "appropriate" for the sake of helping others. To use the tax collecting arm of the State as a means to "give" to the people is a complete violation of free-will and is the polar opposite of what our Lord and Master taught us nearly 2000 years ago.

Its interesting to see the trajectory that America is taking in the 21st Century by embracing nationalized healthcare and every other form of institutionalized self righteousness that Europe has already shown in history and yet America will not "advance" but actually "lower" herself to their level. As America increases its domestic budgets to swallow this eternal lie hook, line and sinker then we will see an America on the run from her worldwide obligations that we inherited from the British Empire after World War II. As the socialist rot takes hold of American minds then our spiritual and moral muscle atrophies to the point that we can no longer maintain our armies and navies overseas. The concomitant repercussion of political will to fight the worlds dictatorships will thusly give way to apathy and callousness in regards to who lives in the "free world" and who does not. The people in the middle of this titanic struggle will be the casualities of this surrender mentality and the killing fields of Pol Pot will be the standard by which we measure the fall of other nations to the barbarian.

The solution to America's woes really comes down to Christianity and more specifically "Protestant" Christianity. Bible doctrine is what distinguishes the Protestant from the other houses of Christianity in the world today. It is no mistake of history that America is where its at today due to its Protestant Christian orientation. If Protestant Christians had taken up residence in South America then it would be to Brazil or Argentina that the entire world looked to for salvation in political affairs. Instead, we Protestants took up residence in the North and the rest is history. All nations of the world have the resources and know-how to be "super" powers but its Protestant Christianity with its most pure doctrines of Christ enshrined in their minds that has taken us as far as it has and what it did for us can certainly apply to them. And yes, that includes both the Christian at peace as well as the Christian at war! The Christian today is but a shell of its former self with only the most basic doctrines still alive in its soul. America is coasting on the vapors of its Christian heritage and yet it doesn't have to coast but accelarate further with Bible Doctrine as the renewable resource of its spiritual ardor.

The trends of decay can be reversed but only with the return to Protestant Christianity fully inculcated in the minds of men and women which in its turn saturates our thinking including but not limited to civil rule such as the legislature, the courts, academia, business and so forth. This is a generational solution and will take time. Pray for America.

I mean really, the audacity of arrogance is too much for me to bare any longer.

If it's the earth that you worship then it will be by the earth you shall be judged! What To Do About Ankara?

It has been my contention since the inception of this blog that Turkey would not be accepted in the European Union. More and more my gut feelings have been confirmed by the events that have transpired in the past couple of years in Anatolia and the most recent news coming out of Turkey only serves to cement my belief that a major rift perhaps even a tectonic shock wave in foreign affairs is about to erupt between Europa and the Islamic world.

Uniting Turkey, a large mainly Muslim nation, with the European Union is Europe's biggest peace project since World War II, Turkey's Foreign Minister Ali Babacan says.

But he complains that some EU countries are holding Turkey back out of political ill-will. Turkey has had enough of being Europe's whipping boy.

After nine years of frustrating efforts as an official candidate to join the European Union but still without a guarantee of membership in the end, its leaders now have a tougher message for Europe - play fair, because you need us as much as we need you.

Wow, no wonder Europa doesn't want the Turks within their Eurosphere with that kind of attitude. And Europeans think Americans are arrogant? Honestly, I don't understand what the Turks see in the EU that they should abandon their sovereignty to Brussels? But, if you a secularist perhaps you are feeling a bit alone in the Moslem world. Even in "cosmopolitan" Turkey the Moslem parties have gained so much ground at the expense of the old Ataturk regime that perhaps the secularists see the proverbial writing on the wall.

Has history come full circle in the ancient land called Byzantium? Let us recall it was the Emperor of Constantinople in late 11th Century that appealed to Rome for buffer states to be carved out of Byzantium's eastern provinces that had recently been taken by the Moslems. This would be the start of the now notorious Christian Crusades. However, something else should be noted in that Constantinople also was appealing for its Eastern Orthodox Christians to accept the Pope of Italy as their Archbishop and bring an end to the schism that had separated these two great medieval Christian civilizations beginning in 1055 AD. However, the wealthier and more sophisticated Eastern Christians could never accept a Westerner to be their ultimate guide in ecclesiastical affairs and the Emporers desire for unity was dashed upon the rocks of religious reality when the two sides could not reconcile their doctrinal differences.

Ultimately, the Crusades would not solve Byzantium's problems with Islam and the West only compounded Constantinople's precarious position when the Crusaders sacked this great city when the gates were opened to them in a palace dispute between two Byzantine nobles for control of the throne. Amazingly, the Byzantines were able to retake Constantinople back from the Western Crusaders 70 years later but their empire would be forever lost to the heathen as the momentum and tide of history was on the side of Islam. Constantinople would fall to the Turks in the 15th Century and the glory of Eastern Orthodoxy would make its capitol in Moscow.

Now in the 21st Century a strange twist of fate has exposed another ally of the West to the encroaching Moslem once again only this time it is the secular Turks who will fall to the green crescent. What are the secularists to do? If they move against the Moslem parties then Europe will self righteously reject them. If they do nothing and let "nature" take its course then they will end up like other "non-believers" in other Moslem countries: dead at the hands of a fanatical Moslem mob. Even now, it may be too late for the secularists to do anything decisive as history has passed Ataturk by as the future now belongs to the religious be they Catholic, Eastern Orthodox or even Moslem. Especially if they are Moslem.

Last week Turkey's most ardent supporters of its European hopes were shocked when the Prime Minister, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, told students in Sarajevo that his country would have "nothing to lose" if Europe kept it out. The EU would be the loser, Mr Erdogan claimed.

Turkey's 45-year-old commitment to integration in Europe has hit serious turbulence. And "enlargement fatigue" among the EU's 27 member states is not the main reason. The issue is Turkey itself.

Turkish hopes are threatened by flagging popular support on both sides.

It has been my contention that the AK Party that is currently in power is using the accession requirements with the EU as a means to strip the old Ataturk mechanisms in Turkey that have prevented the Moslems from consolidating their electoral gains in Ankara and breaking the stranglehold of the secular establishment that has been in power since the early 20th Century. The Moslem political parties ultimately win regardless if Europa accepts Turkey in the EU or not. Why? The EU accession requirements is the acid eating away at the old regime and thus if Europe rejects Turkey this will only serve to ingratiate the Moslem parties as their way is the "only" way to a return to the past glories of Islam. If Turkey should still be accepted for entry into the EU then the Moslem AK Party will continue to rip down the old Ataturk political structures thru the accession requirements. A Moslem fait accompli that can no longer be ignored by both the West and the secular Turks now unfolds before us.

The EU complains that Turkey's democratic reforms have slowed since 2005 when its membership talks began.

Now the European Commission is warning that a high-profile court case could damage Turkey's long-term European ambitions. Turkey's constitutional court is to hear the chief prosecutor's case for closing down the ruling AK Party, over alleged breaches of Turkey's secular ideals.

The EU's patience has been stretched to the limit over the Turkish government's delays in amending its notorious Article 301 law, under which scores of journalists and writers have been prosecuted for the vague offence of "insulting Turkishness".

Which way will Turkey turn? Can the leaders of both Europe and Turkey convince their own peoples of the efficacy of Turkish accession? Or is history repeating itself?

A key Eurobarometer opinion poll shows that 59% of Europeans oppose Turkish membership, with only 28% in favour. The present leaders of Germany and France both say Turkey lacks the European and democratic credentials to take on EU membership.

Among Turks, too, support for EU accession has fallen sharply, from three-quarters of the population three years ago to half or even less today. Mr Babacan says his people have been made to feel "unwanted" in Europe.

UK Minister for Europe Jim Murphy told the Istanbul gathering that bringing Turkey into the European Union would dispel the "myths" about a clash of civilisations, and be the most important strategic decision the EU had ever made. Failure, he said, was unthinkable.

Revelation Redux

I wish to touch upon the themes I covered in my first postings regarding the future as previously outlined in "They Came From Beneath", "Apocalyptic Visions", "Apocalypic Visions II", "Apocalyptic Visions III", "The Iron Scepter" and finally "Armageddon Order of Battle". Some details need clarifying while others need to be corrected for accuracy. Slight adjustments but important nevertheless considering how these details affects our understanding of the future.

As an Ambassador In Christ I am always ambivalent in deciding how I should approach the subject of prophecy with both believer and unbeliever alike. I understand there are so many interpretations out there regarding Bible Prophecy that it often leads people to just "give up" on this all important aspect of Christianity. I certainly wouldn't blame you if my conclusions are rejected in toto by the reader regarding these matters however, I would caution you that though these things may be difficult to comprehend even believe, God himself has placed this most valuable information in the Bible for our consumption. It can be and must be mastered by the acolyte of Christ. So let us begin.

1) The Demise of the Christian Religion: True Church, False Church and Saints. We are currently in a dispensation known as the "Church Age" that has temporally supplanted the "Age of Israel". We are the primary evangelical body to spread the gospel of Christ to the four corners of the earth. The Church is divided today between three houses of worship that covers the entire Northern Hemisphere of the globe, the entire Western Hemisphere and major parts of Asia and Africa. Roughly, the home of each resides in the following regions: Protestant Christianity in North America, Catholic Christianity in Western Europe and Eastern Orthodox Christianity in Russia.

At some point in the future of the Church Age, Jesus Christ will return for his church and recall from all three houses of Christianity those people who have bowed their knee to Christ. We cannot know who has or hasn't believed in Christ that currently resides in our churches. But we do know that only the Righteous are taken and the Unrighteous are left behind. Hence the "True" Church of Christ is taken from the earth while leaving in its place the facade of the old Church occupied by only the unrighteous. The push for ecumenicalism will be strongest at this point especially in Europe since historically the Catholic Church has represented the "visible" part of the Church for 2000 years. Even now, the Catholic Church is drawing from its viewpoint the two "rebellious" houses of Christianity back into its fold so that the Pope will once again reign as the Archbishop of all the Christian faiths.

After the Rapture of the True Church then the Vatican will fulfill its dream of unity for there will be no opposition from the Righteous since they will now be gone. The False Church becomes "Religious Babylon" designated in the book of Revelation as the Harlot and will be headquartered in Rome. All the great religions of the world with their concomitant doctrines will be represented by the False Church. I'm quite positive that many "religious" and "pious" people will accept Christ as their savior after the Rapture even though they may still belong to the False Church. We know this from Revelation 18 the words of an Angel in the Throne Room of God imploring the Righteous to leave the False Church before it is destroyed and they are taken down with it. Once God sounds the Omega Signal on the Church Age then the Age of Israel shall resume however the False Church will continue as if nothing has changed.

The Rapture ends the Church Age and re supplants the last 7 years of the Age of Israel which has been held in abeyance since the first advent of Christ. At this point, the primary evangelical body to spread the Gospel of Christ in place of the absent Church becomes righteous Israel through the Jewish Corps of the 144,000. This unit is activated by God to counter the propaganda campaign of the Anti-Christ and will comprise 12,000 Jews from each tribe of Israel.

Anyone who believes in the Lord at this point becomes "the Saints". Historically, anyone who has ever believed in the Lord since Adam and Eve is a "Saint" in every dispensation and in every era since the dawn of man. A Saint is defined as one who has received the imputed Divine Righteousness from God at salvation which is a non-meritorious act of faith in Christ. Gentiles, Jews, people from various sects of Christianity and even people who have never heard of Christ but acknowledge a Creator as opposed to worshiping the creature are "Saints" by definition. The way of salvation has always been the same: faith alone in Christ alone. Thus, there have always been Saints and the Tribulation which is the last 7 years of the Age of Israel will be no different. So when we speak of the Saints "during the Tribulation" then we are simply referring to people who have believed in the Lord in general and not referring to the Church of Christ in particular that has existed in its present form in the last 2000 years.

During the first 3 1/2 years of the Tribulation the False Church consolidates her power on the back of the European 10 Nation Confederacy. However, before the middle of the Tribulation the 10 Nation Confederacy will move against this religious body much to the glee of atheists in Europe and completely disembowels the False Church of her wealth, buildings, land holdings and killing her priests and acolytes. It will be a terrible sight to see as the Vatican is burned by the stormtroopers of the European Confederation and will thusly be lamented by the world as their "beautiful and peaceful" muliticultural religion will be desecrated by the evil and jealous intentions of this political body. This in turn creates a religious vacuum and a new form of worship will replace the old: Emperor Worship. This in turn causes 3 nations within the Confederation to rebel against the European Emperor and I suspect but can't be sure that it will be Italy, Spain and Portugal who have historically benefited from the Catholic Church in Rome for so long that will rebel under his authority and though they will see the error of their ways they will be too late to prevent his Satanic "assension". The Emporer will now take his throne as he will become imbued with Satan himself. He overthrows these three nations by military force to establish his supremacy over the European peoples thus the European Emperor becomes the Anti-Christ.

With the True Church caught up to Heaven by Christ and the False Church destroyed by the 10 Nation Confederation, the Anti-Christ moves against the last remaining obstacle to full power: the Saints. He will consider them a "fifth column" of rebellious followers of Christ and he will brook no opposition. His apprentice known as the False Prophet will sing the praises of the Anti-Christ and will institute a policy of total fealty to the new Emperor as he now assumes his rightful position in the world as the Deity. Naturally, the Saints will not worship this false god and will not take the oath of fealty known as the "mark of the beast" as their loyalty lies with Jesus Christ and thus the Anti-Christ turns his stormtroopers against the Saints and destroys them. This is known as the Genocide of the Saints in Revelation 6 when the fifth seal is broken by Christ. There will be no escape and as God reminds us that this will test the Saints to the extreme so he calls for their faithful endurance and patience during their darkest hour thus calling to mind that the death of the righteous is precious in the sight of the Lord.

2) 666 - Devil in the details. Why did God mention this number in the book of Revelation beyond its more obvious and sinister ramifications? Yes, this is the number of the name of the Anti-Christ. Yes, people must have the number in order to buy and sell. Yes, they must have the number as proof of their loyalty to the Anti-Christ. Yes, they who don't take the number will be put to death by the executive order of the Anti-Christ. But there is more here than meets the eye in that we know from the viewpoint of God those who take the number in their turn will be executed by the shock troops of Christ at the Second Advent! The Anti-Christ begins his rule with a genocide of the Righteous after Operation Archangel and so too Christ begins his rule with one as well against the Unrighteous after Operation Iron Scepter since their loyalty lies with the defeated Satan. You reap what you sow in this instance. This is a little known and perhaps purposely ignored (as far as people are concerned) detail in the book of Revelation and stands as a warning to those who give their loyalty to Satan vis a vis the Anti-Christ that their disloyalty to Christ himself will be paid in full. They who take the mark of the beast will not enter into the "Kingdom of God" which is the earthly Millennial Reign of Jesus Christ that begins at the Second Advent.

We also know this from the Book of Matthew and Luke when Christ mentions the signs of the end times. Before he consolidates his rule there will be two in the fields but one will be taken and the other left. Two will be in bed and one will be taken and one will be left. Two will be grinding wheat at the mill but one will be taken and the other left. Is this a description of the Rapture? It's tempting to think this but the answer is no. Why? Simply because the Rapture at the beginning of Tribulation does not precede the Second Advent of Christ at the end of Tribulation which ushers in the Kingdom of God on earth. Christ mentions the "revealing" of the Son of Man which the Rapture itself does not do. The Second Advent however does reveal the Son of Man as his return to earth to take possession of it will be quite unmistakable as lightning which flashes from one of end of the sky to the other. The Rapture is Christ taking possession of his Church which historically has been invisible and thus the Son of Man is not seen by the unrighteous. The Second Advent however is Christ taking possession of the world with his earthly throne centered at Jerusalem which will be seen by all. Between the Rapture and the Second Advent we have seven years of "tribulation", so what we have here is the reaping of the pagan unbeliever from the earth at the end of Tribulation, a separating of the chaff from the wheat, in which only the righteous may enter the new era of Pax Christi Mundi physically alive after the return of Christ and his True Church with him at the Second Advent.

Dare I call this mass execution of the unrighteous who do survive the tribulation the "Genocide of the Sinner"? Not the best of phrases but should capture the fact that these unbelievers at this particular time in history have not repented from their ways even after Christ returns and thus go to the sword defiant to the last pagan man with the mark of the beast on their bodies as a symbol and badge of both their idolatry and sedition. Eventually the apostles do ask Christ regarding the Coming of the Kingdom of God in Luke 17 where those that are taken actually go? His response to them is "where there is a dead body, there the vultures will gather" thus signifying the ultimate demise of those who are taken.

3) Man of Lawlessness - Emperor vs. Anti-Christ. Who is the anti-Christ? No one knows for sure and why is this? Isn't he supposed to be born with the number 666 on his skull like in the movies? Actually, any human may accept this exalted position of being the vessel of Satan's personification in human form if and only if Satan himself offers this position to him. This is a free-will issue and not a physical limitation predicated on the birth of a human being from the womb of a female. No, in order to become the Anti-Christ one must be "elected" by his diabolical majesty, Satan the Devil, in order to reach such a political apex. And he doesn't just offer it to any mere plebeian! Satan himself only once before has offered the "kingdoms of this world" to such a man in the past and this man turned it down: the man Christ Jesus. Satan knows that Christ is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords and thus he offers this "honor" of being possessed by Satan only to rulers and not to peasants, if you will. Thus, sometime in the future a man will again meet this criteria of ruler of the world in the form of an Emperor and no he will not be Chinese.

Only in Europe do we see the power vested in a single person with the executive power to move not just a single nation or even a group of nations but the entire world! At first his exalted position is weak and he comes to power "peacefully" at the beginning of the Tribulation after the Rapture of the True Church from the entire earth. He makes a military pact with Israel with the 10 Nation Confederacy supporting his political overtures. His power slowly grows when finally the 10 Nation Confederation makes their move against the False Church before the middle of the Tribulation and destroys it out of greed and jealousy. The European Emperor now steps into his role as Pontifex Maximus and unites both religious and political in one person and at this point Satan offers him and only him the "kingdoms of this world" and unlike Jesus Christ, the European Emperor accepts the position as the vessel of Satan. The European Emperor becomes the Anti-Christ as he is now possessed fully by Lucifer and sets his face against all that Christ is and stands for.

4) Heralds of God, Heralds of Satan - Dynamic Duos. It would be an understatement to say there will be many "unusual" people that walk onto the stage of the Tribulation. We do not see the stage door open however until the middle of the tribulation when Satan and his fallen Angels retreat to their earthly bastion after their route in the heavens under Operation Archangel. Satan only has a mere 3 1/2 years to conduct his final campaign against God and his earthly forces in the form of righteous Israel and ultimately the resurrected Church.

The second half of Tribulation sees humans with extraordinary powers which both serve as a beacon and a warning to others that these men are making straight the path of their Lords. Satan as the Commander in Chief of all rebel forces has two individuals that forge his will on earth in the form of the Anti-Christ and the False Prophet. These two men support each other in their quest to unite humanity against Jesus Christ and to stop the coming Second Advent. The Anti-Christ himself is possessed by Satan so his diabolical Majesty can unify his command over his remaining human and inhuman forces against God. The False Prophet is the other half of this rebel Angelic dynamic duo that is able apparently to rain fire down from heaven at his will. He is notable in that he is Jewish and represents the Jewish rejection of Christ unlike the Anti-Christ which represents the Gentile rejection of Christ. The False Prophet sings the praises of the Anti-Christ and causes all of mankind to erect statues to worship the Anti-Christ for the god that he is. The False Prophet also commands all of humanity to take the "Mark of the Beast" which is the name or the number of his name upon their right hand or forehead as on oath of fealty as well as a system of checks and balances to prevent those who don't actually bow their knee to the Anti-Christ to suffer deprivation and ultimately death.

Jesus Christ as the Commander in Chief of all Royal forces responds to Satan's evil twins with his own heralds in the form of "Two Witnesses". They are Moses and Elijah deployed from Heaven just for this special occasion. Both Moses and Elijah are the "true" Prophets of God as opposed to the False Prophet of Satan's herald. Both of these "witnesses" are able to project fire from their mouths against their enemies at will and to whomever they wish. They are able to control the weather and strike plagues against whomever they wish. They proclaim the imminent Kingdom of God about to be ushered in by the Second Advent of Christ. They lead the corps of righteous Jews known as the "144,000" and protect Israel against the Russian invasion from the North which I have coined as Operation Magog. They are the two wings of an eagle from which Israel shall fly to safety.

Both of these Dynamic Duos are endowed with superhuman abilities and yet they are not invincible. The Two Witnesses of God meet their match when the Angel of the Abyss who commands the inhuman forces of Operation Scorpio engages both Moses and Elijah in a duel of the ages towards the end of Tribulation. These two heralds of God are struck down as they perform a rear guard action to prevent the Angel of the Abyss from identifying the location of righteous Israel hidden in the desert wilderness by the Corps of 144,000. Yet, after 3 1/2 days their bodies come to life once again and they bodily exit the earth in full view of everyone resulting in a sonic boom and vapor cloud left behind in their wake. Satan's two heralds on the other hand are captured by the armies of Christ at the Second Advent and are immediately interred in the divine correctional facility known as the LOF (Lake of Fire) for their decision to be the vessel and hand of Satan.

5) Operations Scorpio and Draco - Out of this world! The Book of Revelation is quite explicit when it describes an inhuman force of beings that exit from deep inside the earth towards the end of Tribulation. Many people have tried to "square the circle" by suggesting that these forces represent human tanks and helicopters or worse yet think these are the human armies of the "Kings of the East". Both are incorrect and no it is not an analogy. My friends, we know these are not "human" armies because both demonic forces are led by fallen Angels! Fallen Angels that directly answer to Satan as Commander In Chief of all rebel forces in the Last World War to be exact.

The 5th Trumpet Judgment of Revelation 9 which I have dubbed Operation Scorpio is a force of inhuman creatures that are "hideous to look upon" and have humanoid faces but with features like lions in terms of fang like teeth and long hair like the mane of a lion. Additionally, they have tails like scorpions that sting when struck by them and apparently causes a form of bodily paralysis in which the victim is unable to move. Above all else, these "scorpion" troops are led by the infamous "Angel of the Abyss" which clearly no human force would have in their command.

The 6th Trumpet Judgment of Revelation 9 which I have dubbed Operation Draco describes even more incredibly an inhuman host of cavalry troops that total 200 million soldiers altogether. These "riders" exit from beneath the dried bed of the Euphrates River towards the end of Tribulation. They too are led by Angels and Satan has assigned this large cavalry force not just one but four fallen Angels most likely to command an army group of 50 million troops each. The Bible describes these "horses"as having heads as "lions" and tails with snake-like heads covered in scales furthermore, these equine creatures are able to breath fire, smoke and sulfur. Their tails are likely a bulbous head to cause blunt force destruction against structures and people much like a mace. I have surmised that these forces are by definition "dragons" because they are ridden upon like horses and breath fire but they are not horses in the traditional sense as we know cavalry today. We also know the number of casualties they inflict upon humanity numbering approximately 1/3rd of the earth's population and thus this cavalry force kills billions of people in their path by the fire, smoke and sulfur that issues forth from their mouths. Clearly, this amazing foe is not human nor an analogy.

Additionally, we know that these inhuman forces are not related to mankind in any way, shape or form because God has assigned his own Royal Angels to ensure that these demonically led inhuman forces are kept locked up in both the Abyss (Scorpio) and beneath the Euphrates River (Draco) until such time that God allows them to be used by Satan in the Last World War. God does not assign his Angels to "prevent" human armed forces from attacking or defending each other in this world during this time or anytime in human history for that matter.

I have also surmised that it is the True Church that was previously Raptured at the beginning of the Tribulation that destroys this inhuman force at the Second Advent of Christ at the end of Tribulation. We know that Christ personally destroys the rebel human armies that will surround Jerusalem during Armeggedon thus taking credit for relieving this city himself. The other inhuman forces are clearly destroyed but the Bible does not describe this scene in any detail and thus I have taken the liberty to introduce this concept of the Resurrected Church dispensing and destroying by fire and maneuver the fallen inhuman forces of Satan at the Second Advent. I believe there is a "division of labor" in terms of who God assigns which enemy to destroy. In other words, God's Angels attack and defend against Satan's Angels. Likewise, God's superhuman armies attack Satan's inhuman armies at the Second Advent. Someone has to do this dirty and physically demanding job and I believe Jesus Christ assigns the ressurected Church, the shock troops of Christ, that mission since we will possess invincible human bodies to counter their inhuman abilities. Onward Christian Soldiers, indeed.

Why I Believe In Christ

I have been asked on sundry occasions why I believe in Jesus Christ. This is a fair question considering that God is invisible and it has been a long time, some 2000 years, since Christ walked the earth. Is it "blind faith" or is there proof that God exists?

1) Eternal Truths - Christianity contains in it the eternal truths that have stood the test of time. More specifically, the gospel of salvation by Grace is one of those everlasting doctrines that no religion may duplicate. The power of God to free us from the tyranny of salvation by works is the greatest example of freedom in both a spiritual and physical sense. In fact, this doctrine preceded Christianity in that Abraham was considered the forebearer of salvation by Grace. He believed in the Lord and God imputed to Abraham divine righteousness. This imputation of God's righteousness activated by faith in the Lord is the foundation of spiritual freedom which in turn leads to physical and political freedom in time. And really, mankind has had this message since time immemorial starting with Adam and Eve. Its just that today Christianity embodies this truth at the institutional level more than any other organization extant today.

2) Science- if the Word of God is true, and it is, then the sciences should be able to confirm the veracity of the Bible. Astronomy, genetics, biology are all revealing more and more that a designer has been here before us and that we are not alone. Adam was the first scientist as God allowed him to name the animals in the Garden and in this we see that God encouraged an inquisitive mind to seek out and understand his physical universe. I am not the least insulted by a scientific consensus that is entirely atheistic. The facts are the facts regardless of the theories that the scientific community insists on imposing on everyone else at the expense of common sense. Their godless priesthood will be exposed by science itself as the secular con artists that they are by members of the scientific community themselves who rely as much on integrity as on the obvious facts that lay before them to dispel the myths of a Godless universe.

3) History - this is one area of study that can be at times more art than science. However, historical facts cannot be ignored even when they are viewed with the skewed lenses of bias and subjectivity. In fact the greatest example of historical reality that points to the God of the Bible is the existence of the Jews in general and the restoration of the nation of Israel in particular. There has been no other people on earth today that have maintained an unbroken line of tradition, genetics, linguistics, law, and religious ritual as the Jews of Israel. This is one stubborn historical fact that should not be ignored by students of history. This Israeli exception upon history cries out for recognition and in time will receive what is rightly theirs: respect. Yes, there are other great civilizations that have existed for a long time however time has changed these people and they are not the same in tradition, language, culture ex cetera. The Jew on the other hand has maintained a historical consistency that has defied logic to the point that we must honestly conclude that the God of the Bible who is the God of the Jews and who is also the head of the Church must be real and tangible.

4) Prophecy - the most misunderstood but most important aspect in believing that God exists. You might think of biblical prophecy as a leading indicator of the existence of God just as history is a lagging indicator of the reality of God. All prophecy in the Bible was revealed to the Jew and to the Jew only. Even though Christianity divides the Bible between an old and a new testament the prophecies contained therein are all complimentary to each other. The prophecies revealed to Daniel while in Chaldean captivity are congruent with the prophecies revealed to John on the Isle of Patmos in the book of Revelation at the beginning of the Church Age. And per Revelation, the "testimony of Jesus Christ is the spirit of prophecy". In fact it was Jesus Christ in the garden of Eden that predicted his own victory over Satan at Golgotha when Christ would come "in the flesh" and die for all humanity as this strategic victory was the proverbial mortal head wound suffered by Satan when all the devil could do is perry with a strike against his heel; for even though Christ was murdered on the cross at the behest of Satan, Jesus Christ defiantly rose from the dead 3 days later victorious in life everlasting. Adam and Eve would never see these events unfold in their lifetime and yet this was the hope of glory that God promised to them while they were yet being excommunicated from the presence of God as punishment for their disobedience to him in the Garden. What does prophecy hold for us today? The return of Jesus Christ in the flesh! And as it was in the past so it will be in the future: the world will seek his destruction. But they will not succeed for he will return not on the back of a donkey but in the saddle of a great war horse! And the armies of Christ will follow! Thus, as the current historical trends take shape we see before us like a mountain rising out of the clouds the accuracy and the truth that Bible prophecy reveals to us that there is a God. Woe to them that ignore Bible prophecy friend and foe alike.

These are the main reasons why I believe in Christ. I hope I have demonstrated that this is not some blind faith but rational, thoughtful and logical deductions taken from my surroundings. My fealty to Jesus Christ is not some blind leap into the abyss but a thorough recognition that there is a God and this God is the one spoken of in the Bible. Just as scripture says there is only one name under Heaven given unto men by which they must be saved and that name is Jesus Christ.

The Meaning of McCain

Why did John McCain win big last night on Super Tuesday on the road to the Republican nomination for President? Because he was the next best thing in a field of moderate to leftwing Republicans. Mitt Romney in spite of right-wing talk radio (Catholics for Romney) still couldn't pull it out in the states he was counting on such as California and various other states in the South. Catholics for Romney are only fooling themselves if they think that Mitt is somehow better than McCain when it comes to conservatism.

The country may have a conservative culture however we can see how the institutions of America are quite leftwing or moderate at best. John McCain thusly appeals to those who reside in these institutions (military, government, judiciary, academia, business) and the rank and file who work in these institutions are therefore attracted to McCain. Was Ronald Reagan any different? If you are honest about Ronald Reagan, that is, focusing on the politician and not the orator then we can see how moderate President Reagan really was during his rule. Government expanded under Reagan, America ran away from terrorism in Lebanon, Amnesty for illegal aliens was signed into law, and the culture remained pretty liberal in spite of the conservative voice in the White House.

Is John McCain a heretic of conservativism? No! A thousand times no! He is very much in the mold of Ronald Reagan the politician, however, talk radio is bashing McCain because of past leadership battles with President Bush. You will note McCain has continually been attacked by Rush Limbaugh since 2000 when he first ran for President. The reason for this is due primarily to the Republican Party wanting another Bush in the White House and thus unleashed Rush on McCain. This time around, Mitt Romney who was a Bush (Jeb) favorite, was the anoited Bush nominee and Rush Limbaugh therefore was unleashed on him again however will little or no effect. Sadly, other radio hosts who should have known better also went along at the last minute to pour gasoline on the fire of McCain's bonfire such as Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, Mark Levin and so forth.

We conservatives must come to grips with the obvious facts that lay before us: America, like the world, is slowly being transformed by Babylon the Great. We are more hedonistic, hellenistic, lascivious, socialistic, and sadly, anti-Christian. We conservatives have failed to retake the institutions that can actually make the necessary changes to America and lead us to greatness based on independence politically and spiritually. We have failed to convince the elites of this country in the efficacy of limited government and conservative principles. Because of this failure to seize the highground, we have been left with a McCain for good or for ill to battle the greatest American socialist that stands before us since President Johnson and perhaps even FDR: Hillary Rodham Clinton. I ask my fellow Republicans to accept this fait accompli and due their duty and vote for the presumptive heir in the Republican Party not so much for McCain but for the Republic.

May God have mercy upon our souls.

A Family Affair

And so it begins. The Iowa caucus begins tomorrow and boy I can't wait till its over. Who will be endorsed and who will be disappointed? The American people do have some say but not all. Indeed, the election as all elections have since our early founding are influenced by the political party that the candidate belongs to and behind them the powerful and rich political families that give rise to certain candidates. I believe its these political families that have the final say as to whom will rise to prominent positions of the executive branch in this country.

One famous political family in America since the 60's at least was the Kennedy Family. The leftwing media just loves this family and has dubbed their very short rule in the executive branch under JFK as the "Camelot" years. Granted, what happened to JFK was outrageous and completely unacceptable however, to drone on and on that his presidency represented some high point in American political discourse is a bit inflated if you ask me. JFK is gone. RFK is gone. JFK's son is gone. Teddy is pretty much gone thanks to his sexual and alcoholic peccadilloes as the farthest place he'll go politically speaking is some senatorial fiefdom in Massachusetts.

Today the true "kingmakers" as far as political families go really does come down to just two: The Bush and the Clinton Family. The Bush family beginning with Ambassador Prescott Bush and then more importantly President GH Bush has left an impressive mark on the Republican ticket for good or for ill. With GW Bush in the White House and recently Jeb Bush in Florida as Governor the Bush legacy on the Republican Party continues unabated for the foreseeable future. If we look at this trend line then we can see today that three Republican candidates all have some Bush family influence backing their bid for the Republican Party Presidential ticket: Rudy Guiliani (GW Bush), Mitt Romney (GH Bush) and Fred Thompson (GP Bush). I predict that one of these candidates will go on to take the Republican mantle for President in 08.

For the Democrats, the great influence is the Clinton Family. Let's face it, were it not for the Clinton family, the last Democrat in office would have been the ancient Jimmy Carter! Instead, we got Bill Clinton for 8 years thanks largely to Ross Perot. It's the Clinton reign of 8 years at Pennsylvania Ave that marks this family as being the most influential on the Democrat side of the political ledger. If Barack Obama Osama thinks he can nudge he way into this family affair on the Democrat side of things then he has many surprises awaiting him. In fine nepotistic manner the Clintons have given themselves their own candidate in the person of Hillary Rodham Clinton to run the executive branch for the Democrat Party. They will brook no opposition in this matter. If the Democrats think they can somehow sideline Bill or Hillary with another person of an entirely different political family then we will see a huge civil war in this camp in the next couple of months until the primary political election dust finally settles. It will be over Bill's dead body before someone else takes this mantle from the Clinton family. In other words, it's going to get very ugly for the Democrat Party if they continue to show rebellion and not get behind Hillary for President.

A classic "Hatfield and McCoy" story continues to bedevil the American political scene. And I'm sorry to report we probably have 8 more years of it.

Long live the Republic.

This next Presidential election is very unique in our time period. It's very unusual not to have a heir of the sitting President to take over for him after he leaves office. Vice President Dick Cheney should be the presumptive heir of the W legacy. This time, it is not to be. We have seen this down the ages with Roosevelt giving us Truman (granted Roosevelt died but he did have an heir nevertheless), Eisenhower giving us Nixon (granted he didn't take power until 8 years after he lost to JFK), Nixon giving us Ford (granted he took over after Nixon forfeited his office), Reagan giving us Bush (no exceptions here) and finally Clinton giving us grief, uh, I mean Gore. The 2000 Presidential election apparently was a curve ball of epic proportions as the country was thrown into a turmoil after Al Gore insisted that he won. I'll grant you it was a darned close election in which either candidate could have taken the purple. Its just that Bush outsmarted Gore by relying on the Federal Supreme Court and not on a State Supreme Court to decide his future! The rest they say is history.

Now, in 2008, we have another unusual election. No presumptive heirs are in the offering for the Republicans. Each Republican must make his own stand on his own merits. No coattails here to propel one forward to the White House. As Steve Chapman's article makes clear the flow of history is against every single candidate in the Republican primary election save one: Huckabee from Arkansas. For good or for ill this seems to be the historical trend taking shape before us. However, I would like to add that history does have a tendency of turning back on itself and returning where it left off. In this case, it's quite possible that one of these Republican candidates could break the cycle of history in this election and become the Presidential candidate for the Republican nomination defying the iron hand of past election trends.

Ironically, it's the Democrats who actually have a presumptive heir to their last President's legacy in the person of Hillary Rodham Clinton, the Queen of Narnia. There is nothing to prove here as far is she is concerned. Her credentials are impeccable in her mind's eye and the only merit she needs to prove is that leftwing history has bequeathed her the crown and has given it to no one else. She merely needs to wave her royal hand and ride the gilded carriage to power! Her regent, Bill Clinton the Duke of Little Rock, has as much at stake as Hillary in securing the purple for himself. His return to the Oval Office, albeit in his capacity as the royal concubine, portends great things for the Left in general and the Democrats in particular. Imagine all the wonderful things in store for America where he can wield his power behind the scenes instead of in front of it. Now that's a nightmare before Christmas if ever there was one.

It is impossible to divine the will of the American people. We will see in the coming weeks who is on top and who is out. Which strategy worked the best and which candidate was able to prove himself worthy of the title of President of the United States of America.
