An AV-8B Harrier assigned to Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron Two Six Four (HMM-264) launches from the flight deck of the amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5). The Bataan Expeditionary Strike Group is conducting Composite Training Unit Exercise (COMPTUEX) off the Atlantic coast with the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit, based out of Camp Lejeune, N.C., prior to an upcoming scheduled deployment. www.navy.mil
