Operations Specialist 2nd Class Jason Giroux, attached to Naval Coastal Warfare Squadron 30, launches a Wasp Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV). The 7-ounce UAV's are used to gather real-time video and intelligence photos. Seahawk 2007 is a joint maritime security exercise involving more than 900 integrated active and reserve forces from the Navy Expeditionary Combat Command and U.S. Coast Guard. The exercise is intended to increase interoperability and enhance cooperation between the two services. www.navy.mil
