Connections
Islam often makes the claim that they are the heirs of the Jew and Christian. That their religion is the true religion because the Jew and Christian have deceived themselves and fallen away from God's true path. Thus, the Moslems feel compelled to judge the Jew and Christian and to become the instrument of God's wrath against them. They claim to worship the same God as the Jew and Christian and their book, the Koran, has replaced the Talmud, Old and New Testament of the Bible. However, after a closer look we can honestly say they have no connection to the God of the Jew and Christian.
In spite of popular opinion that Israel deserves to be cursed and destroyed, the Jew is indeed still in God's plan and has a future that will put it in a place of great importance that only God himself could do. From the Book of Romans as written by the Apostle Paul:
1I ask then: Did God reject his people? By no means! I am an Israelite myself, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin. 2God did not reject his people, whom he foreknew. Don't you know what the Scripture says in the passage about Elijah—how he appealed to God against Israel: 3"Lord, they have killed your prophets and torn down your altars; I am the only one left, and they are trying to kill me"[a]? 4And what was God's answer to him? "I have reserved for myself seven thousand who have not bowed the knee to Baal."[b] 5So too, at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace. 6And if by grace, then it is no longer by works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace.[c] Romans 11:1-6
11Again I ask: Did they stumble so as to fall beyond recovery? Not at all! Rather, because of their transgression, salvation has come to the Gentiles to make Israel envious. 12But if their transgression means riches for the world, and their loss means riches for the Gentiles, how much greater riches will their fullness bring! Romans 11:11-12
25I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in. 26And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: "The deliverer will come from Zion; he will turn godlessness away from Jacob. 27And this is[f] my covenant with them when I take away their sins."[g] Romans 11:25-27
1Brothers, my heart's desire and prayer to God for the Israelites is that they may be saved. 2For I can testify about them that they are zealous for God, but their zeal is not based on knowledge. 3Since they did not know the righteousness that comes from God and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to God's righteousness. 4Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes. Romans 10:1-4
Both the Jew and Christian is united by Jesus Christ in spite of the obvious rejection of Christ by Israel. But as you know, there were still many Jews who believed in Christ for it was in Israel that Christianity began, a mystery age not seen by the ancient Jewish prophets in which they could only see the Return of Christ as their King and the establishment of Israel by Messiah himself.
For the Church is the virgin bride of Christ, while Israel is the adulterous wife. However, both are united by the imputed righteousness of God with Christ as the cornerstone that joins both families together.
11As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame."[e] 12For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."[f] Romans 10:11-13
Islam however, rejects the Old and New Testaments. They have rejected the Mosaic Law. They have rejected Jesus Christ himself and have demoted him to prophet, disavowing his Diety entirely.
20But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth.[d] 21I do not write to you because you do not know the truth, but because you do know it and because no lie comes from the truth. 22Who is the liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a man is the antichrist—he denies the Father and the Son. 23No one who denies the Son has the Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also. 1 John 2:20-23
1Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well. 2This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands. 3This is love for God: to obey his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, 4for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. 5Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God. 1 John 5:1-5
10Anyone who believes in the Son of God has this testimony in his heart. Anyone who does not believe God has made him out to be a liar, because he has not believed the testimony God has given about his Son. 11And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. 1 John 5:10-12
Islam hates the Jew and hates the Church. They do so in complete defiance to the will of God. God judges those who judge Israel and will bless those who bless Israel. Israel will witness the return of their Messiah for it will be Christ himself, the same Christ 2000 years ago that Israel rejected and had crucified but now lives:
And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son. Zech 12:10
