X-MARINE: November 2006

Cpl. John Badon, a U.S. Marine attached to the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) completes a reverse lay-up during an exhibition basketball game. The game was part of several sporting activities that matched up U.S service, against service members of China’s People's Liberation Army (Navy) (PLA (N). The friendly sports games took place in conjunction with a three-day port visit and follow-on combined search-and-rescue exercises.

Reality Sets In

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Now that we have dispensed with the pleasantries, shall we get down to business? As you can tell I'm none too happy about the Democrat victory in the House and Senate a couple of weeks ago. The whining and crowing voices of Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Teddy Kennedy, Charlie Rangel, Charles Shumer, Joe Biden and the rest of that corrupt bunch of old hypocrites and liars is just a bit much for me to wither. But I shall march on, nevertheless, with a revolting sense of disgust at the pace of the War I must confess I feel we Americans are headed into a very dark period in the next couple of years.

I believe the War On Terror has been successfully petrified in its tracks by the Democrat win in this last mid-term election and as a result has all the hallmarks for very serious national, international and dare I say historical repercussions? But before I go any further we must acknowledge that the traitorous Press have much to be blamed for our current demise. These college-educated idiots pretend to have no political motive but are in reality the direct appendage of the Democrat Party. These snakes deserve nothing but death as befitting all traitors as their irresponsible and blind devotion to vaulting leftwing politicians to power at the expense of our fighting men in Afghanistan and Iraq will actually plunge the world into more terrorism and war and thus set the stage for future conflicts that will make it harder and bloodier for America to overcome.

With Democrats winning both House and Senate the Culture of Corruption as espoused by Nancy Pelosi is indeed in overdrive. The next two years will be slavishly devoted to crowning Hillary Clinton the next President of the United States and how befitting when we consider the depth of her corruption from Arkansas to Washington D.C. to New York and back again. Wouldn't that be ironic that when Bill was President from 93-2000 we had the evolution of terrorism spring forth while he was on watch? Then as he returns to power, albeit as the "shadow" President with Hilary's face up front and personal, Bill can maneuver in the background doing only God knows what while promoting himself at the expense of the American modus vivendi in the Free World thus causing a devolution of America from the international scene. Up with Terrorists, down with America. For indeed he hates and loathes America. All leftwingers do. Democrats will use the War Of Terror to their full advantage to break the last vestiges of "small" government in the United States. If you thought the Patriot Act was bad, you ain't seen nothing yet.

With America withering on the vine as the International force stabilizer, Democrats will seize every opportunity to enslave its citizens with more socialism the likes of which we haven't seen since 1932. As American troops vacate Europe, Asia, and the Middle East the world will spin out of control until another force comes upon the scene for good or for ill to bring stability. But perhaps there is no such force. Much like Rome in its sunset years, if we retreat from the international scene its quite possible nothing will rise to replace our standard. Perhaps the barbarians will rule the day. We shall see.

Which leads me to my final thought regarding Great Britain. All that's left of this once great nation is England. Britain was beaten down in both world wars that resulted in the United States inheriting her sphere of influence throughout the earth after World War II. Now, in the 21st Century, as Scotland and Wales are on the precipice of complete sovereignty from her erstwhile usurpers, England stands alone between America and Europa. Will she depend on America for her life force or will she give her allegiance to Europe? Indeed the Anglosphere is now gutted by the tide of the non-English speaking hordes that have crested the walls of Western Civilization. Australia finds herself choosing between an aggressive China to kowtow before or a fickle United States that can't stomach wars of liberation any longer. Canada is on the verge of disintegration as Quebec demands not only autonomy but liberty from the Queen of England. South Africa is completely gutted of the Anglo Saxon as the African now takes charge in Pretoria. India is a nuclear power in its own right. So whats left? Nothing. Nothing except England itself and thus naked and spoiled she will choose Europa to find shelter and clothing. Rome shall rule London once more.

Right Message For A Wrong Time

My American friends, you have blown it. Have I not made it clear to you the ramifications of voting in a Democrat Party that will retreat from Iraq and utlitmately Afghanistan? By voting in Democrats to the House and Senate as the majority party you have sent a signal, a very bad signal, to Osama Bin Laden and his Al Qaida that America will not defend herself. Our enemies are ruthless and you have shown them nothing but your soft side. And they see nothing but the soft underbelly of your cowardice which enrages them all the more.

Did I not say the Republicans are weak but the Democrats are contemptable? Yes, I did. Does the Republican Party need reform and a change in the their party platform from big socialist spenders to small government minded individuals? Of course they do. Even though you decided to stay home to send a message to the Republican Party you have inadvertantly and tragically changed the course of this war and all the hard work in Iraq has been brought down by your simplistic revenge motivation to "teach" those Republicans a lesson.

You idiots! There is far too much at stake in the world to be so concerned about your wallet or your alleged "rights" at home by allowing the Party of Defeat to run Washington DC. Don't you see? Running away from Edoras and holing up in some mountain castle will not save you which 9/11 proved so visibly. Your wallet and and your rights are now in mortal danger from International Islamic Terrorism as our enemies prepare for greater attacks with more spectacular results that we can scarcely dream of in our worst nightmares. You have looked away but it will not go away. Death stalks the land.

I say this with great anger and sorrow but America you have brought this upon yourselves. President Bush is only partly to blame but the rest falls upon your shoulders. He told you it was going to be long and bloody. He told you it wasn't going to be easy. He told you to hang tough but it was you who blinked and it will be you who will suffer. How many more buildings must fall? How many more Americans must perish? Will they hit our schools this time? Will they hit us while we shop for Christmas and sip lattes from Starbucks in the comfort of our expensive cars? We could have waged war in our favor now the momentum has shifted back into the camp of the enemy. Woe unto America.

The Secretary Of War

The passing of Secretary Rumsfeld from the political scene is a great loss for America and the War On Terror. His stoic character and calm demeaner made many enemies with the Press Corps and liberal establishment in America and Europe. A man the Left loved to hate was sacrificed upon the alter of appeasement. President Bush feeling the sting of defeat last Tuesday demanded the head of Secretary Donald Rumsfeld and delivered it to his political enemies as a housewarming gift after they breached the walls in both the House and Senate on election night. I will have to put Rumsfeld on par with a Patton or a MacArthur as these men were larger than life figures that the mediocre could no longer tolerate.

Rumsfeld I believe was hated as much as he was due to the fact that he represented the face of victory for the Bush Administration. Just as the Press did not want Americans to celebrate the military and political victories in Iraq and Afghanistan for fear that President Bush would receive great honor they also didn't want Rumsfeld to be shown in a positive light as well. Hence, the Left's call for his departure for nearly 4 years running. By rejecting Rumsfeld, the Press and the Left were rejecting the policies of preemptive warfare against our enemies.

Sadly, the Press and the Left had an ally in their unrelenting propaganda however, in that the United States Army was completely against Rumsfeld because the Secretary of Defense demanded a non-WWII type of an Army for the 21st Century. This meant jettisoning 50 years of Army doctrine that demanded hundreds of thousands of troops and big tanks to fight the Soviet Union and any other enemy for that matter. Rumsfeld demanded a leaner, more flexible US Army along the lines of a Marine Corps that could readily deploy against third world armies and enemies that the Army was not actually designed to fight against. This was a big "no-no" as far as the US Army was concerned. Couple that fact with Rumsfeld's tenure in the Navy and his promotion of Peter Pace, a Marine Corps General, to be Chief of the Joint Chiefs this was indeed too much for the Army to stomach. Interservice rivalry is still a very big problem in the United States Military and only gets worse the higher you go. The US Army is the Praetorian Guard of the American military establishment and if they move against you politically then its only a matter of time before you are shown the exit door.

I believe Rumsfeld was a brave and honerable man to which history will reward him his due regard. I know most people will say I'm nuts but I refuse to acquiese to the "conventional wisdom" regarding one of the greatest men that served in the Bush Administration. Mark my words, more troops in Iraq is a false hope. Rumsfeld knew this and was a marked man politically when he demanded more than the Army was willing to give him.

NEWSFLASH: OSAMA BIN LADEN WINS!!!!!

Well, I have egg on my face, don't I? I thought Americans would allow Republicans to hold both the House and Senate. Well, Republicans may hold the Senate but we shall see. With Democrats controling the House of Representatives they now have been emboldened to stop the War On Terror in its tracks on a Federal level. Its quite possible they will initiate the War Powers Act to end Operation Iraqi Freedom.

I can only imagine that the leaders of the Axis of Evil are clinking glasses in exubrant celebration knowing full well that once Americans have vacated Iraq that Afghanistan will fall next. Indeed, for Osama Bin Laden and his Al Qaida goons, the greatest gift Allah has given them is a Democrat controlled House of Representatives. Now, all they need is to have Hillary Clinton in the White House and indeed their victory over the infidels will be complete.

This Democrat takeover of Congress is a great victory for terrorism all over the world. There is not a single power capable of taking on these murderous thugs on a global scale like the United States of America. With a party of cowards now steering the American ship of state away from this grand war then indeed a vaccuum will be created that only these terrorists thugs are only too pleased to fill.

If you thought the bloodbath in Saigon was bad when the communist North defeated the South in 1975 then indeed Baghdad will be 10 times worse. Expect an increase of attacks on Americans in Iraq to run us out of there asap because the Democrats are only too gleeful to genuflect before the enemy.

The War On Terror has become null and void. The War Of Terror, however, continues.
